Blue Petals. They did an awesome job (and got really good food) in our wedding. 80k+++ includes food for 150 guests, reception styling, 4 big tents with a chandelier each, additional wine glasses, chocolate fountain. maliit lang ang catering charge, waived na rin ang VAT.

Hi!  I'm not sure if this is on-topic, but do you think it's too early to look for caterers for a January 2016 wedding?  I have noticed kasi that most suppliers raise their prices every two years, if not annually.  Okay lang ba maginquire this early and book them by December for a price lock?  Or is that not guaranteed?

^ sis, we booked our caterer feb 2013 and we just got married 2 weeks ago so i think ok lang ang time frame. i am not sure though if they can price lock kasi caterers (like PC) increase their rates kasi food prices also increase. maybe you can try to go into food tasting now with prospect caterers and see if their calendars for jan 2016 are already open and if your date is still available kasi peak season yan.

hi sis carlallanwed its never too early to prepare. tama si iceheaven31 you can go food tasting na then you can have your prospect caterers. mas ok pag di ka nagmamadali. and i think you can lock the prices if you book earlier..

Hi mga sisses! Any experience with Bizu as caterer? We are planning to get them for plated sana, but Gemma, the AE assigned to us, takes so long to reply. Considering na sobrang mahal sila, I would expect that they would be more prompt in answering. Any sharing on them, sisses?

Thank you sissies jaywee03 and iceheaven31!  Medyo naparanoid kasi ako, baka ang OA ko naman maghanda.  More so kasi, si fiance ay US based, so majority of the decision making shempre nakaprenda kung sino ang nandito di ba.  Currently looking at Albergus and Josiah's.  Thank you thank you!

sis carlallanwed ako kasi [textspeak!] husband ko working abroad din kaya nga during our preparations kahit 1.5 years ang length feeling ko kulang pa yung time kasi ako lang ang mostly na nagdedecide & if may parehas kaming need ng decision, of course mas matagal ang time na nid dahil malayo sya. i think dapat lang na magprepare ka na ngyon lalo na abroad si hubby mo.

Di ba sis jaywee03!  Nakakaloka, and he's only coming here on December to look at the big things (i.e. venue, caterer) then his next arrival, a month before the wedding na.  I'm just happy that this network has so much information; I just have to brief my entourage because at this rate, I need all the help I can get!

haha uu sis nakakaloka nga. pero kasi kami consistent naman ang communication at ang ginawa namin yung nandito siya. nagpabook na kami ng church, caterer, venue. we did this 1 year before the event para makuha namin ang gusto naming date.

si quidos ang caterer ko. affordable sya sis at maganda ang styling nila. nagulat ako sa naging outcome kasi hindi ko inexpect dahil alam ko hindi kasama yun sa contract like [textspeak!] mga lanterns, tapos pag roses may additional pa pero sa event ang daming nadagdag. tapos mabait pa yung owner na si ms. gina

Just curious, naka-ilang food tasting kayo bago niyo napili caterer niyo? 

So far, we've attended 3 already (Legend Villas, Juan Carlo, Hizon's), and will attend 3 more (Ma Del's, Verleo, Purpledish) for this month.  Wanted to decide na sana by September, pero parang nako-kontian pa ako ng pagpipilian.  Will probably try to look for 2-3 more options.

Meron akong nakitang blog ng isang Girltalker na 27 (!) food tastings ang napuntahan nila.  Normal ba yun?  It sounds crazy (and yummy.)

Kung wala naman kayo constraints like time then go for as many FTs as you can

Before booking, we only had 2 FTs. One is my non negotiable caterer then another is the cheaper one.

After booking, we still went to several FT fairs. The best yung Tasteful Tastings sa lahat.

We only try 2 FT. Kasi gusto ko andito si fiance. Kahit madami pa sana ko gusto itry kinonsider ko din yun location.

Tasteful Tastings sounds awesome.  Wala pa yatang scheduled for 2014.  Sana magkaroon na.

We also tried Tasteful Tastings last year! it was really an experience. we had tried almost more than 10 FTs all in bridal fairs & sa tasteful tastings. pero [textspeak!] napili namin wala din dun haha. we opt to choose richgold kaso medyo pricey, we got quidos super sulit at masarap ang food, maganda pa ang styling.

I think I know her  Purpledish bride ako. try mo din K by Cunanan and Josiahs. I like Josiah's mongolian bbq and pasta on the spot cooking. Ibarra's has on the spot cooking of pasta din.  pati vsf catering. hala bigla ako nagka thing sa on the spot cooking. hehe
