I booked hizons na but unfortunately medyo matagal sila mag-reply. Sana okay ang kalabasan.

Observations from Hizon's GFT:

Styling is ok. Di ako fan ng shiny satin tablecloth. Maganda naman yung chandelier, swags, lanterns, and crystals overhead. Cute din yung clear chairs nila.

Madumi yung mga spoons and forks.

Swertihan sa AEs. Yung sa katabi namin, todo asikaso kahit madaming ibang clients yung AE at siya pa mismo kumukuha ng food para mabilis. Yung samin, sadly, nakakalimutan kami.

Yung ibang food ay masarap as in. Yung iba ok lang. Yung mga fish, hindi.

Maganda packages nila at pwede ba makakuha ng mga freebies.

^ I'm so sad that KbyC can't do my wedding coz its too far (Batangas)!!! I was literally thinking of moving my reception to Tagaytay just so that they can accomodate me.

But anyway, what do you think is better in terms of styling and food? Passioncooks or hizon?

@klodster - Between Hizon's and PC it's PC. Have you tried Juan Carlo? Maybe you can have a FT with them and have a separate stylist if you have the budget

@ klodster, try Juan Carlo. we had out FT and superb ang food, naubos ko lahat muntik pa kami mag agawan ni h2b.  and they're from Batangas so no oot.

oo sis sya AE namin, gusto din sya ni h2b kasi nagkausap sila at maayos talaga sya kausap.. Hindi [textspeak!] prang wlang pakialam..isang text ko lang pgmay tanong ako nagrereply sya agad minsan sigro may client pero ttwagan nya ko agad. Sinabihan ko din sya na sana ibigay nyang event planner saken [textspeak!] gaya nya na ok kausap..Noted daw yun, natuwa din me kasi nagtanong kami about lechon sabi nya mejo mahal sa kanila 12k lechon pero pwede daw kami kumuha sa iba at sila pa din magchop basta informed sila beforehand..di ba ang ok nya?kasi hindi [textspeak!] para makabenta lang.. at happy kasi ang dami [textspeak!] choices, halos lahat ng food nasarapan kmi pero sympre pinili [textspeak!] ni h2b [textspeak!] parehas kming nsarapan..

Just checked Juan Carlo and menu looks much better than PC! More food + more freebies. Hopefully their styling is also ok since I'm very particular Will schedule FT with them! Thanks for all your help girls

Any Juan Carlo brides out there? Wanna check if we can change some of the "inclusions" to other items like wedding carpet, doves, etc. Hehe don't want those and hoping to get free dessert or something na lang

^sis you may check their FB page for their FT schedule next month. halos every weekend meron sila. will schedule FT with them although medyo out of budget sila but still want to try baka mapagusapan pa namin ni h2b. hehe

@ sis klodster, we booked Juan Carlo during the bridal fair last Feb 16. And jackpot kami sa nakuha namin package and freebies plus upgraded centerpiece and VIP table set up.

if you have time, try to attend the upcoming bridal fair at SMX on Mar 9-10. Kasali ang Juan Carlo. You can avail better/cheaper rates and yes you can upgrade or customize the package depende sa gusto mo. Batangas ka di ba? Cara Gloria is the AE for Batangas account, look for her. Madali siyang kausap.

sis arte, tryo mo sila i-book sa fair. baka makanegotiate ka ng mas ok na price for you kasi sa'min from 850/head na package nakuha namin ng 665/head. konting lambing lang sa AE sis.

^sis, ang mura ng nakuha mong package! is it customized that fits your budget? naginquire ako sa kanila last december thru email at shocks ang mahal ng package na sinend nila sa akin. 950/head plus 10% SC plus 12% VAT pa yun. i just don't know kung dahil ba yun sa venue namin or what, kaya medyo iwas ako sa kanila. hehe. but since you gave me hope kasi i've read a lot of good reviews din naman with them. we'll try our luck na din, papareserve na kami sa FT nila next weekend siguro. thanks sis!

^ sis actually sinwerte lang kami. Nagyaya lang si h2b na daanan daw namin si Juan Carlo kasi gutom na siya. So ayun, nilapitan kami ni Cara (AE namin) then nag offer nga siya.

If may time ka sis, puntahan mo sila sa bridal fair this Mar 9-10. For sure mas makakakuha ka ng magandang package.

Sa 665/head package eto yung nakuha namin;
Appetizer -choice of 1
Soup - choice of 2
5 viands (choice of beef, pork, chicken, fish, veggie)
Pasta - choice of 2
Dessert - choice of 4
Bottomless ice tea/soda
Unlimited bottled water

Tapos ang daming freebies nito sis, upgraded ang styling with Ghost tiffany chairs for VIPs. Halos wala na akong iisipin. Bale pag kasama VAT and SC, 811/head which is a good deal.

Wow what a great deal! I will definitely pass by the bridal fair. JC is actually my choice already, since PC will charge us 15k OOT plus extra for tiffany chair upgrades. But as mentioned by other brides, better ang styling ni PC so I'll be getting a separate stylist na lang if we get JC.

sis klodster before ka kumuha ng stylist, icheck mo muna styling ni JC. in fairness, may magaganda silang style that is why sila na din ang in-charge sa VIP/guests tables namin.you just have to provide them your pegs if very particular ka. Like me, I told Cara na ayoko na multi color flowers and etc. Their set up sa fair nung Feb 16 in fairness, maganda at di din naman papahuli.
