Hi!

I was reading back post and its really helpful in shedding some light regarding my travel.
going to hk on march 20, will be staying at GC and I am solo traveler. I am very excited since its my
first time to travel alone! I havent finished my IT and still back reading, overwhelmed
with the info and feeling the excitement regarding the trip. Hopefully it would be as great as the others
experienced.

the funny part is, i dont know what i want to do except go to disney land! lol...

^disneyland tickets sis. we stayed in golden crown last year, we bought tickets from them. We'll be going there on May but this time I'm thinking of booking a place in mongkok. So please do ask them if we can buy from them again.

- ask ko lang will it be better to bring in dollars or just your atm? (convience of not going to the
money exchanger) since I dont know where to buy hk dollars..

ask lang sana if where pwede bumili ng octopus card aside sa airport? for sure close na customer service sa HKIA kasi 1am ang ETA namin this coming May 3. tama ba na may available sa mga MTR? parang may nabasa ako na meron doon, correct me if im wrong..

HKD pwede kang bumili sa czarina forex, wala ng docs na kelangan & maganda din rate nila

mga sis tip lang to save time din in finding places. Like what I did sa google map, you can actually get walking direction plus estimated time from your place to your target destination, (sample) point mo from your place halimbawa Golden Crown to Maxim's Restaurant or other near places na gusto mo puntahan. Ako nga halimbawa I got direction from GC to Harbour CIty - Clock Tower - Avenue of Star back to GC  parang umikot lang ako.  you can even actually see the photos 360degrees. Point mo lang A to B and up add direction ka lang.

Mas mura bumili ng Disneyland Ticket sa mga travel agency sa World Wide House in Central (MTR Exit B) HKD350 lang, maganda din ang palitan ng mga dollars don lalo na sa Frankie Money Exchange, may branch din don ang Czarina. Convenient naman gamitin ang ATM dahil madaming ATM machine dito, and safe din naman gamitin ang mga credit cards.

Planejane ako din mas prefer ko ang disney kesa sa Ocean Park.

Favorite ko din ang Honeymoon Dessert, lagi ko inoorder don yung Snow White Sago, yummy!

^^ thanks sis..Id post my queries  pag malapit na kasi sa May pa naman kami, but thanks sa helpful info..bka sa airport na kami bibili ng disney tickets kasi limited time lang kami..we'll arrive by 7 pm, kung puede, punta kami sa the peak agad, kung hindi, ikot na lang sa avenue of stars then kinabukasan ngong ping and disneyland tapos next day macau..flight back to manila is 10:40 am..very limited, di namin mapupuntahan lahat..Id look forward sa mga posts ng sissies natin for additional recent inputs..

re ATM, I withdrew money in HK, less the withdrawal fee, parang Php5.34 ang exchange rate. Very convenient pa.
We tried money changer din around Mongkok, Php to HKD around Php6.00 ang palitan.
Yung dala naming HKD, palit namin dito sa Manila nasa Php5.80

Hi! It's our 4th day in hk. Ang sarap parin ng weather ang lamig! Shopping lang kami today in tst.  we checked in at marco polo gateway. Mas gumanda na talaga siya ngayon kasi newly renovated na. Nung last stay ko dito nung december 2011 hindi pa ganito,  we had lunch at sweet dynasty in hankow road. Fave ko yung egg yolk bun niya. Super yummy talaga! My daughter loves it too!  we might go to ocean park tomorrow.
