Sis snowflakes08, we stayed at shamrock before. It's a typical 3 star hotel. The rooms are quite small but clean. The location is very good! It's just a few steps away from jordan mtr station.

How is the weather in HK this coming weekend? Malamig ba so hindi carry mag-shorts ganun? 

Around 18 degrees last Monday when I left, malamig pa rin at hindi kaya shorts for me.
Most of the people are still in their high-heeled boots, scarves and trench coats.
Magdala ka lang ng light jacket or scarf or long sleeves, kaya na.

I got a warning for a text speak and it wasn't even posted.

keri naman yung weather sa HK pag daytime. we roamed around wearing blouse, leggings at shirt+pants lang. hindi naman malamig eh, parang tagaytay lang. we felt weird pa nga kasi kmi lang ni hubby hindi naka jacket, feeling lang namin, baka di sila naligo kaya nilalamig sila...Joke!

pabago bago kasi ng panahon...may araw na sobrang lamig, may araw naman na keri lang. Ngayon umaambon so expected na lalamig sa mga susunod na araw.

I will just bring light jacket and cardigan. I remember the first time I went in HK and winter, the locals are in full winter clothes (boots, scarf, winter jacket with fur pa) while I only wear cardigan maybe siguro iba ang baseline ko ng malamig which is Sweden na talaga naman mapapamura ka sa sobrang lamig haha! 

Thanks mga sis sa mga replies, it is an impromptu trip kase kaya hindi ako prepared although not the first time to go in HK naman. The flight was booked yesterday lang kaya naman todo ang cramming!

Any feedback regarding Shamrock Hotel or Chelsea Hotel sa TST? Ok na magstay dun and accessible like MTR?

Stayed at Shamrock Hotel before, nice location, rooms are clean naman, small cr din.

I booked na lang Butterfly on Prat, my first time in this hotel but good reviews naman so I'm keeping my fingers cross!

we stayed din before sa shamrock hotel. 3 star lang siya, but definitely better than golden crown (for me)

25 degrees hindi malamig, as in naka tshirt lang ako ngayon pero pag pagabi na mejo lumalamig so bring jacket pa din

Any Easter activity in Hong Kong?  yung katulad sa mga mall dito na
easter egg hunt and the likes?  and nabasa ko na holiday pala sa March 29-April 1, super dami kaya ng tao sa OP?

Holiday din sa april 4, Ching Ming Festival... Lagi naman madami tao sa OP at Disney kahit hindi holiday

^sweety_paige any day madaming tao sa theme parks.  Gawin mo na lang i-strategize/ i-plan mo maigi ang mga pupuntahan.  You can browse na agad sa kanilang website for the attractions.  Unahin mo na yung mga gusto mong ma experience agad. 

Like for us, pambenta ng OP ang cable car ride nila, so pag bukas pa lang ng park, we went straight to the cable car station na agad, though madaming mga cabin, di mo pa din alam ang dagsa ng tao.  So nauna na kami agad sa other side of the park then, dun na kmi nagtagal since most of the rides and shows are there.  Then sobrang laki talaga ng OP, lakad na lakad pa lang malilito ka na sa paghahanap. So the maps are so helpful if you have them study prior na (like while you're in the mtr/bus, or while riding the cable car since mga 30 mins yung ride). Important din malaman yung mga schedule ng shows, mejo magkakalayo kasi sila, so magandang alam mo na yung venue at time.

Tips:

Ginawa namin, inuna namin puntahan yung farthest side ng OP, yung kelangan mo i cable car, then we spent na half of the day there. Then saka na kami lumipat sa other part ng park since malapit na ito sa exit/entrance ng park.  We ride cable car papunta then pabalik ocean express na (train) para ma experience pareho.

First Aid/AED location
since extremes yung mga rides, dapat alam mo din ang mga first aid stations nila, like what happened sa hubby ko, inuna namin yung roller coaster ride with 2 loops nila, but after that my hubby felt dizzy, we speng mga 2 hours sa clinic/first aid station nila. So maganda din alam mo where it is located.

Maaga ata natapos ang winter ngayon ah.  i checked accuweather for march 12 to 17. Highest is at 25degress and lowest at 16 degrees. Sana medyo malamig parin kasi puro long sleeves, jackets and boots binili ko for my daughter.

^ oo nga sis..mamimili pa lang sana ako this week ng mga damit para sa trip namin kaya lang parang biglang napa isip ako sa weather pag punta namin. Sis Prettybarbie suggestion naman for the last week of March? ano kayang safe na dalhin para masuot ?

Kahit naman 25 degrees ramdam pa din ang lamig so bring jacket pa din and for sure di pa tapos ang winter dahil nagsisimula pa lang matunaw ang ice sa china kaya malamig pa din ang hangin.
