Sabi ng friend ko hindi na daw masyado uso ang balloon decors sa venue pag binyag sa mga na attendan nyang reception. Yung venue ko kasi walang inclusion na decors so naghahanap ako ng pwedeng maglagay ng decors, yung simple lang magka mood lang ba yung venue. Wala naman akong program sa reception kaya enough na siguro kahit simple lang. Anyone who can recommend for my requirement? Thanks sa sasagot.

Ako din dun lang kumuha ng supplier post ka lang ng requirement mo madami ka na makukuha na offers. Yung nakuha ko sa balloon decoration madami siyang package na worth P1k lang

Hi mommies. Ask ko lang sa mga nagpabinyag na walang program sa reception, anong ginawa nyo para hindi ma-bore guests nyo? Aside from sounds plano ko maglagay ng photo booth para kahit paano may magawa sila, tapos souvenir na rin yung pics. Enough na kaya yon? Naisip ko magcreate ng slideshow ng pics ni baby kaso walang projector dun sa venue. May iba pa ba kayo masuggest sisses? Thank you!

Sisses, pasuggest naman ng affordable na photobooth. Yung madali sana kausap and maganda ang camera. Tia!

We didn't have a program in my baby's binyag reception. Prayer lang and then kainan. People don't expect to be entertained in binyags like they do in weddings or birthday parties. Usually pag binyag reception kainan lang naman. Ok na yung photobooth if you really want that. Or if you want, have a candy buffet and put props like baby's first photos so they have something to do and look at.

Our LO had her binyag last Saturday. We didn't have any program, I wouldn't even call it a 'reception'. Just a post-baptism lunch with immediate family and close friends. We had around 40 guests.

Church
Santissimo Rosario Parish UST - 1k + 50/head in excess of 2 godparents

We didn't have any problems with UST chapel, from reserving the date to the actual ceremony. I'm from UST so ito talaga ang first choice ko na church. The baptism was on a Saturday so solo ceremony sya. Pag Sunday they do mass/community baptism.

Reception
Lōla Café + Bar, Sct Lozano QC - 600/head net

I loved the food. Nag food tasting kami a few days before the baptism and naexcite ako na matikman nila yung pagkain. Hehe. Package included appetizer, salad, 2 main courses, pasta, dessert, bottomless drink. Our guests raved about the food din. And natuwa sila sa place kasi very homey. The staff were nice, they did a little decoration sa chalk board and nag provide kami ng photos ni baby para isama as decors. Very simple lang, and since we only have a few guests, as in para lang kaming naglunch sa bahay.

Invitation --- i did the layout and sent an e-invite lang to our guests.

Dessert
Sweety Chocolate and Pastry --- 4500 for an 8" fondant cake + 4 dozens cupcakes in acetate box + delivery fee.

The cupcakes, ang sarap! The fondant topper is not too sweet and yung frosting nya swak na swak sa consistency ng cupcake. Yung cake, masarap din but I find it too dense, as in parang brownie yung cake. Masarap sya but yun nga, too dense for my liking. And hindi masyado nasunod yung colors na gusto ko for the cake, considering na ilang beses ko inulit sa baker. Pero nonetheless, masarap sya and maganda pa din naman yung kinalabasan.

We didn't have photobooth or any form of entertainment kasi konti lang guests namin and nagchikahan lang kami literal. Hehe. Very cozy lang talaga.

Another question pala sisses, yung suppliers nyo ba sinama nyo dun sa headcount sa reception? I assume kasi na oo kung sa photographer since nauuna sila usually sa venue. Pero yung sa photobooth hindi ako sure kung include ba namin sila. Dapat ba? 😊

No it shouldn't be an issue. I was a single mom with my first born and I was with my family lang that time. We didn't have problems at all.

Sa binyag ng baby ko two months ago, there are 18 guests only, 21 including me, husband and the babe. Sa church we are lucky na siya lang yung bininyagan nung araw na iyon -- the pictures are amazings. I actually forgot about photographer (I blame it to postpartum brain kahit 4 months na baby ko nung bininyagan), thank goodness one of our guest/friend is a photographer so he did all the shooting using my husband's iPhone. Haha.

By donation yung sa church, I gave $500. This is my parish too so I didn't mind giving more than what's expected.

For the 'reception,' I booked a fine dining restaurant, overlooking the ocean and the view of the city.They customized the menu to our little event which made me so happy. Nakalimutan ko that they customized. Good thing I mentioned that the luncheon is for my baby's  binyag. Our guests loved loved the view and the food. Spent short of $2500.

Our guests love the solemnity of the binyag. Raved how cool our priest haha! Enjoy siya sa selfie stick. Everyone talked, mingled with each other, Hindi kanya kanya ng grupo. No games, pero pinagpasahan at pinangigilan my chubby baby. I also forgot about giveaways. I really don't know na may souvenir pala pag binyag haha.

It was an intimate gathering for my daughter and I loved how it turned out. And I wasn't stressed at all compare to hosting a bigger gathering.

I will do this again for sure.
