Mabait si father, they allowed our guests (not sponsors) to witness the ceremony. Super kwela din ni father no dull moment and ang ganda ng homily nya. Tagos sa puso.

Naka set na by May 30 binyag ng baby ko.

Church: Sta. Maria Goretti Parish Pope Pius XII Catholic Center UN Ave. I paid 2k. Solo Baptism. No limit in number for the ninongs & ninangs. No seminars or church permits required, just the birth certificate & marriage contract. Yung candle lang sagot namin.

Reception: Tramway Bayview Buffet Roxas Blvd. Medyo malayo sa church but may mga vehicles naman ang mga ninong at ninang so carry na. Against si hubby at first due to geographical distance but I explained to him the pros vs. cons wala siyang nagawa. I insisted on what I want..hehe... Nag down na ako ng 70% for a minimum of 50 pax and rent ng function room with own buffet for 3hrs.

For the cake, cupcakes and give aways sa sponsors. Nagbook na ko kay Ms.Myla of applesconfections. Will deposit na din 50%.

Photographer: Nag ask lang ako ng favor sa family friend na may photography business.

Konti na lang intindihin ko like yung mga misc na tarp, e-invites, candles, outfit namin. For a limited budget like ours, happy na ko sa mga na accomplish ko. Less hassle na intindihin since back to work na rin ako in a week's time.

Binyag naman ni lo ko on May 17.

Our church will be at Our Lady of Annunciation (OLAP) at Mindanao Ave. Sa Friday pa kami magbabayad and magbibigay ng requirements approx 1500php ibabayad namin kasi 10 pairs ang sponsors namin including na dun yung baptismal fee, gown at candles.

Reception to follow at Kowloon House in Quezon Ave. Travel time from church is 5 to 10 minutes lang. Paid 80% of the package for 100 pax. Nag add lang ako ng table runners at konting balloon sa area para pleasant tignan, good thing tiffany chairs na yung andun.

We will bring our own cake and cupcakes (from Shoppersville) w/ corkage fee nga lang. Okay na din kasi parang bitin yung butchi nila sa menu. Since 1 glass of drink lang din ang nasa menu, magdadala kami ng softdrinks para di naman sila mabitin sa drinks at shempre may corkage fee din.

Kumuha din kami ng photobooth worth 3500 (w/ corkage fee) and it will serves as our souvenirs to the guests. May libreng 35pcs souvenir naman from the package and yun ang ibibigay namin sa sponsors.

May libreng 35pcs of invitation din from the package, yun nalang yung ibibigay namin sa mga oldies hehe. I already created an event sa fb so yun nalang yung invitations namin hehe.

Yung tarp namin will be sponsored by a friend. May friend din akong photographer na pwede magcoverage for free.

Siguro total of our expenses aabot ng 50k for 100pax. Not bad.

Joining mga sis, prepping na rin ako for my baby's baptism and dito ko lang nabasa na di na pala allowed ng st. Jerome in alabang ang non-residents. San yung SSA and san po yun? I'm from muntinlupa din kase and medyo madalian prep ang gagawin ko. Simple celeb lang ang balak ko and bawi na lang ako sa bday nya. Sana kayanin ko na maayos to in one month.

Hi mga sis, how do you execute if may short/mini program during reception? Actually not really a program gusto ko lang sana yung meron prayer sa simula then yung part na magbigay ng message yung Godparent then photo ops.

any idea kung pano maging flow ng program if sabay ang binyag at bday ni Kuya? November kasi 5th bday ni Kuya so sabay na lang namin sa binyag, 5 mos na nun si Lo.

Decors - DIY lang namin ni hubby ito. We made tissue pompoms pang centerpiece sa tables at decors sa paligid tapos Message Corner / Souvenir Corner saka yun panglagay sa wall na may name ni baby. Ayaw kasi namin ng tarpaulin.
Peso Power: ~100 lang kasi leftovers lang nun wedding yun mga ginamit namin. styro lang yun binili namin na bago kaso forgot ko na exact price.

Souvenirs - Succulent plants from Go Green Giveaways
Peso Power - 50 each for succulents in plastic pots for guests / 98 each for succulents in hand painted clay pots for godparents. Plus shipping fee since sa La Union pa sila.

Hindi na kami nag cake kasi naka eat all you can buffet kami at kadalasan nagiging decor lang yun e so malamang ang ending nun e iuuwi lang din namin. wala naman din gaano mahilig sa cake sa min so sayang lang pag nagkataon hehe.

Rate: 258/adult, 178/kids below 4ft, 184/senior citizen rate w/ID. We got one of their function rooms good for 50-70 pax and with own exclusive buffet table and sound(videoke) 5,300k. We had 63pax 4 of those are kids and 3 seniors 

Cake Package (Single tiered fondant, 36pcs brazo cupcakes with balloon cake arch): Apple's confections - flavor of the main cake is vanilla (not a fan of chocolate flavored cake) and it's masarap. First time ko with them and uulit ako dahil maayos kausap si Ms. Myla and she delivered well, even exceeded my expectations kasi yummy yung cakes niya.

Giveaways (Cake in a Jar Red Velvet Flavor): Apple's confections
Rate: 65/each 40pcs

Balloon arrangement: Ms. Beth tie up of Apple's confections
Rate: 1,500k (i requested to work on this budget of mine for 7pcs balloon centerpiece, letter balloon, and rattle ceiling balloons) & 4x3 tarp 350 pesos

I didn't not include my misc expenses na like baptismal clothes ni baby, yung mga ribbons sa candles and print outs for the cupcake toppers, HMUA ko sa friend ko na may salon etc. Most likely we spent 30k. Thankful naman ako everything turned out well. Happy kami ni hubby sa outcome nung event at nakaraos ng maayos. Praise God!!!!

^would you have a picture of how the giveaways were displayed on the table? Naisip ko rin ang cake jars for giveaways pero if marami like 80 pieces, Saan nyo nilagay? Sa cake table or nakahiwalay?

And meron bang cake supplier na pede ring venue stylist? Nearest to makati. Para sana isa Lang kontakin ko. Ang nakita ko sa thread usually venue stylist which includes the dessert buffet na rin.

I'm preparing for baptism of my baby girl this June, and I know I have little time to prepare. So far i only have the church and venue booked.  Will be very busy the coming days. Hehe.

Hi!

I'm a newbie kahit ang tagal ko nang nagbabasa ng forums.

Anyway, not sure if may iba pang thread for binyag+1st birthday party, pero yun kasi sana ang balak ko for my son this coming August. I initially planned na sa Fernbrook (Madonna Del Divino De Amore Quasi-Parish) yung baptism, then sa isang resort sa Molino yung reception/birthday party para pool party sana. Kaya lang, when I emailed them, hindi na raw sila pumapayag magbinyag ng hindi parishioners ang parents. Ang unprofessional pa nga nung nag-eemail sakin. Last year nagtanong din ako pero sabi pwede raw basta may permit from parish. Ngayon biglang hindi na pwede. 

So I'm trying to come up with Plan B, C..
I hope you could help me decide on which is the most feasible one.

Plan B:
Baptism at Shrine of Jesus Church (MOA)
Birthday Party: ? Wala pa akong makitang budget friendly

Plan C:
Baptism: Check other churches in Molino Area: Sto. Nino De Molino (Pag-asa), San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish (Zapote), Holy Trinity Church (San Nicolas).
Birthday Party: Same as Plan A-- AE Quinsay Private Resort

Wala rin akong maasahang mag iinquire sa mga churches sa Molino kaya mukhang ako talaga ang tatawag sa kanila isa isa.

Plan D:
Baptism: Last Supper Parish in Las Pinas (kung saan ako resident before I got married)
Birthday Party: I'm eyeing Citadella Clubhouse pero wala pa ako idea kung okay ba talaga run.

My main concerns:
-Sana yung church na madaling hanapin, since may mga godparents na galing pa ng north.
-Sana yung church na hindi gaanong crowded. Dun kasi sa church kung saan parishioner si hubby--ang sabi ni SIL, mga average daw na 50 babies kada binyag!

^sis, hindi na talaga allowed sa muntinlupa. kahit nga tiga muntinlupa ka pa, kapag hindi ka dun sa parish na yun, di ka rin papayagan. arte no? haha!

sa shrine of jesus naman kelangan ng permit from your parish. tapos meron actually package ang shrine of jesus dun sa venue nila. pwede naman siguro isabay din sa birthday yun. 88k for 100pax ang rate. malaki yun place. hizons or vs&f ang caterer.


sa malate church din daw may venue for rent din. kapag dun ka nagpabinyag ng baby, pwede mo irent yun venue for reception.
