Waaaahhh, ang hirap humanap ng venue.  We've decided that we're going back to Manila next month so we will have our little one's baptism there but the venues I have in mind are booked

mga sis, do you do a certain program pa pag nagpapabinyag kayo? or dining and chikahan na lang with the guests? if you do, what are the activities na hinahanda nyo for the reception?  This is aside from the photobooth na usual naman na now a days sa mga events.

^ sa family namin sis, medyo toned down and simple lang ang reception sa binyag. Nung sa eldest ko, dining and chikahan plus two games lang facilitated by my BFFs. For my youngest naman, we'll just have the dining and chikahan plus a simple DIY AVP I made. We also got a desserts buffet which will open a little later, para dessert+coffee+more chikahan

Hi mga sis! Finally done with our son's baptism It was simple yet very meaningful to us. Since parish based na kami we had it in Holy Eucharist Parish in Paranaque then we held it in LNP Center in Taguig. Since we held it on a Sunday and before lunch, we went straight to the point kainan na after arriving in the venue. Then we greeted my brother lang since it was his bday and gave him a small cake then we asked everyone to pray over our child. We had The Little Hippo for Catering Services. And they went beyond our expectations We had a small budget so no cake, no souvenirs and no photo services. We just had our digicam and asked friends to do the shots for us

Hello mga sis, question naman.

Yung church ba kung san pinabinyagan si baby nyo is nanghingi pa ng letter from your parish na inaallow nila pabinyagan sila outside of your parish church? Yan kasi ang problem ko ngayon.  We're from Las Pinas and gusto ko sana pabinyagan si baby namin sa Don Bosco, Makati (very memorable kasi samin yun and dun din kami kinasal ni hubby). Don Bosco requires an approval from our parish, kaso yung parish namin, ayaw kami payagan. Di daw sila nag iissue ng ganun na approval kasi gusto nila dun lang pabibinyagan si baby sa parish namin.

Eto ang naisip ko, sa parish nalang kung san nakatira si hubby dati kami mag hihingi ng approval (they are from Bulacan) Kaso ang iniisip ko, baka silipin pa ng parish namin yung birth certificate ni baby, kasi ang address na nakalagay dun is yung address namin sa Las Pinas. Baka lang magtaka ang Don Bosco.  May naka encounter na ba ng ganito?

^sis medyo same tayo ng problem ako naman dati taga las pinas then recently lang nagtransfer ng house kaso sa [textspeak!] ni baby yun new address na naming so nun nag-inquire ako sa previous parish naming sa las pinas ayaw nila tanggapin dapat daw kung san parish kami dun lang magpabinyag gusto ko pa naman sana sa las pinas lang para accessible sa mga bisita.

^ napabinyagan mo na ba si baby mo sis? Ang layo din kasi kapag sa Las Pinas pabibinyagan si baby ko. mostly from Nueva ecija and bulacan ang relatives ni hubby, baka di sila maka attend. medyo ang hirap pa naman hanapin yung parish namin sa LP kasi nasa loob sya ng village.

Pa-join! We will have Bebe Girl's baprism on November 23rd in St. Maria goretti Church in UN Ave. so far church & ohotog pa lang ang confirmed. We might have the reception sa Pope Pius Center, same compound ng church para convenient for everybody. Then papa-cater na lang kami with a budget of P300'per head. Habang kino-compute ko, mas makakamura ko pag catering kesa restaurants.

This coming December 13 ang date ng binyag ni baby sa San Agustin Church sa Intramuros. Pa help naman sa reception o. Baka may marecommend kayong malapit dun at affordable pero kahit bandang MOA or macapagal pwede din.

Joining too! Im currently 30weeks pregnant (7months) but i'm already looking around at possible venues and packages It's been 5 years since my firstborn's baptism so i'm slightly out of the loop on what's new.
Been backreading on this thread and I am learning a lot!

^Try mo sa Cabalen sis. I have a friend dun nagreception don't know lang how much per head. I think it's sulit naman since eat all you can na so sure kang busog mga guest.

@sweetarwen, try Racks. Had my baby's reception at Racks El Pueblo last year. Package starts at 350 if i'm not mistaken. May branch naman sila sa MOA but I'm not sure lang if they accept private functions.

May Naattendan din kami sa Fridays MOA and ok naman. Not sure how much per head, though.

Hi mga sis, i'm 36weeks preggy pa lang pero I'm starting to plan na for my son's baptism. Ask ko lang if kelangan pa ba ng party planner talaga or pwede na naman ng wala? Usually ba may program pa? Baka mga sis you can share your program flow if meron. And kung wala naman program then mag-play lang ng DIY avp or may pa-games lang ng konti if wala planner pwede kaya na relatives na lang ang in-charge? How long usually ang baptismal ceremony sa church and how about sa reception? Plan namin sa santuario de san antonio, maramihan ba ang nagpapa-binyag dun or isa lang per time slot?
