i bought the box from divi, yung pang-crafts, Php7 each.
then washi tapes from hobby depot (Php75/roll).
same din ng nasa link, 4 different letters for each ninong/ninang. ipiprint lang sa cardstock.
and itatali using twine na i also got from hobby depot for Php40/roll.
1) a special day - explaining yung occassion
2) a theme so charming - explaining yung theme and attire
3) an important role - explaining yung role ng godparents
4) a list of lovelies - list ng napili naming godparents and yung reason
sample wordings:
a special day - to celebrate my being named a Christian, mom and dad rented out the fanciest schmansiest cupcake café ever!
a theme so charming - and because you are all special and dear to our hearts, enclosed are cute bowties (for my ninongs) and floral crowns (for my ninangs), to make you look even more charming than you already are.
an important role - i think to have you and your warm presence in my life is all i need. TRULY.
a list of lovelies - <name>: mom and dad’s dear friend; in charge of sharing mom and dad’s sweetest (and embarrassing) moments.
unlike sa link na nasa loob ng box yung letters, yung samin hiwalay, kasi ang liit ng box namin, kasing liit ng palm (not including fingers, as in palm lang). so ipi-print na lang namin yung letters.
yung magiging laman ng box, bowtie for ninongs, and floral crowns for ninangs, na idi-DIY namin. para suotin ng godparents sa mismong day ng binyag.
sabi ng husband ko, bakit ang effort ko masyado sa pag-ask ng ninong and ninang. sabi ko, ako personally gusto ko mafeel na special ako. gusto ko close sa tao, sa friends and family. kaya parang ganun din, to make them feel loved and special. and para maging bonded yung pagiging kumare/kumpare namin. at para mahalin nila ng todo yung baby girl namin.
