Went to sagada last April 19-22..sulit ang mahabang biyahe!!kiltepan viewpoint palang masayang masaya na kami..we stayed sa canaway inn 250 per person..4th flr kami medyo nkakapagod umakyat pero ok lang kasi ang ganda ng view sa likod.. also went to echo echo valley and hanging coffins..dito ko masasabi na sumakit ang tuhod ko and malapit na bumigay buwis buhay ba naman ang pagbaba sa hanging coffins..sa Bokong falls lang pala kami pumunta kasi hindi na kinaya ng mga paa namin..Infairness tinalon ko naman ang cliff nila dun, ang saya lang!!highlight of our trip is the sumaging cave..buti yun ang pinili namin kasi mga 1st timer kami sa spelunking..spent 2k only for transpo/lodging/tour..FYI hindi kami ngrent ng van ha..trek lang kami talaga..

dahil inggit na inggit ang mga friends ko na hindi nakasama sa amin, we will definitely be back on nov (US Thanksgiving), sabay na din sa orange picking..

Just got back from Sagada. Super ganda and if you want adventure, this is the place to go. Buwis buhay trip! Sana makabalik kami, gusto ko maexperience yung festival.

Sa ligayas cottage and inn kami nagstay, 10 min walk to town proper. Since marami kami buong house binigay ni aling ligaya pero 300 / head lang ang singil. Pwede rin magcoke, may hot and cold din

Sagada is something na alam mong maganda, and when you get there marerealize mo it is more than that. Sagada exceeded my expectations. The place and the people, it's just a perfect getaway.

You can see na napreserve nila yung culture nila sa Sagada. And when you talk to the locals, you will feel how much they love their place.

Sa mga pupunta ng Sagada, try to talk to the locals. Kung may event, puntahan niyo. Try cultural immersion. Aside from the place itself, the stories of Sagada are just heartwarming.

Drew Arellano featured sagada last week sa byahe ni drew. I get to see the place all over again. but when he featured na the caves and the hanging coffins and the waterfalls, sayang we weren't able to go there. Pakay lang kasi namin nun is leisurely driving lang. I plan to go back sa ber months na siguro.

babalik rin ako for the rock climbing sa echo valley. Masakit na talaga katawan ko nun after the cave connection plus trekking for the other spots and kinulang na rin sa time.

Hindi ko rin napuntahan Mt. Ampacao. Babalik talaga ako ng Sagada!

Hi mga sis! Nagprepare akong itinerary namin for August long-weekend trip. Gusto namin yun relax/chill lang, yun hindi masyado pagod na trip kaya di kami mag spelunking. Pwede na ba ito mga sis? Saan kami pwede makatipid? 2 lang kasi kami. Thanks!

Based sa naresearch ko approximately nasa 10k na in total, so 5k na kami per head.

sis blackgreen paano yung transpo niyo.. dalawa lang din kasi kame nung friend ko this coming may 31-june 2.. balak namin umalis 1130pm ng manila sa 31 kasi kakarating lang nung ng friend ko from singapore.. gusto ko din iask may mga alam ba kayo na sa baguio na magrent ng sasakyan pasagada actually plano nga lang namin is banaue rice terraces and baguio eh.. parang kulang kasi sa oras kung sagada then 1 day lang..

blackgreen, sis para makatipid kayo hanap kayo ng pwede pang makasama sa tour. either dito sa forum, sa lodging or sa saggas mismo. sabay kayo sa mga tourist na nagtatanong doon. fixed kasi ang rate nila for guide at sasakyan. kung maglalakad lang kayo like mula lodging to kiltepan umaga palang pagod na kayo tapos pupunta pa kayo sa bomod-ok falls.

^^^if you plan to go via banaue, it will pass thru bontoc. in bontoc, there are jeepneys and mini bus (dangwa bus) plying sagada. shorter route back to manila will be Baguio. kaya nyo yan kung kayong dalawa lang. of course ok sana kung marami kayo to share expenses.

^^Pls. check your map sis. banaue is the longer route to sagada (manila to banaue is 9-10 hours, banaue to bontoc is 2 hours). shorter route is Baguio (5-6 hours). and it would be very expensive to rent a van from Baguio to sagada or banaue to sagada, if there's one, unless you're in a group tour. Just take the public transport. if you'll bring a private vehicle, if ever it should be a 4x4 with a higher torque as the halsema highway, twisty na nga, tends to be very slippery pa when wet and the fog and the rain limit visibility and the mountain road to sagada is very rough (but good thing some parts are already paved).
