kung walang bagyo ok lang pero kung meron delikado. prone to landslides kasi ang daan papunta doon eh.

3-4years ago pumunta ako doon ng december before christmas. konti lang ang tao. super lamig sa gabi hanggang madaling araw. sa tanghali naman medyo malamig parang sa bagyo. iyon nga lang foggy kaya di ko naexperience ang sea of clouds sa kiltepan.

di rin karamihan ang tao after holyweek. unang punta ko ganitong panahon eh. medyo mainit nga lang sa tanghali pero keri lang. mas mainit pa rin dito sa maynila.

hi sissies.. we're having sagada trip sa  april 12 to 14... first time namen pumunta doon and wala ako idea na dapat dalhin.

1. Anong mga dapat dalhin dun?

2. Anong klaseng sapatos dapat? How many pair of shoes yung dala nyo?

^ sis, check mo saggas site. maraming tips dun on what to wear and itineraries. 

ako kasi hindi na nagdadala shoes pag napunta dun. 2 pairs of slippers lang. 1 casual slips, 1 trek sandals/slips for hiking and spelunking.

^ kami we wore tsinelas na mumurahin lang. sayang kasi if masisira lang eh. we also had gloves na ewan anong tawag dun. basta super appreciated namin ang mga gloves namin when we were inside the cave na.

1. Anong mga dapat dalhin dun?
This will always depends on what activities are you planning to do there. If all out activities, meaning you will do the caving and trekking, etc. Bring leggings (for protection from scratches), just wear an old shorts over it. Believe me, you need a shorts over it, from all the crawling and splitting you will do inside the cave. Nabiktima ako nito eh, napunitan ako ng leggings) LOL. Combine it with any old shirts also, sayang ang bagong tshirts kung mapuputikan lang din. I did the spelunking and cave connection and I must say any cheap slippers will do. Just make sure na hindi yung slippery type. Funny, I saw one girl entered the cave with her doll shoes. Gloves if you dont want touching guanos. For trekking, same outfit just add head protection like bandanas or hat and arm cover. Good ol' slippers will also do.

2. Anong klaseng sapatos dapat? How many pair of shoes yung dala nyo?
Ako i survived with just one pair of slippers. I just bring socks with me para di ako malamigan inside the bus.

nakatrekking sandals ako nung nagcave connection kami. madulas pa rin kaya nakapaa na lang ako halos sa dalawang cave. ganun din nung pumunta kami ng pongas falls. madulas din kasi pag river trekking kaya kung magsusuot ng sandals or tsinelas make sure na di dulasin iyon.

hun_nie08 just keep in mind travel from Manila to Sagada would take you 11-12 hours via Baguio.

Spent the holy week in Banaue and a day trip to Sagada. Sumaguing Cave lang ang nagawa namin pati Hanging Coffins at Echo Valley. Buwis-buhay, muntik pa kong magslide sa mga batuhan. Lakas ng loob lang talaga ang kelangan at sobrang pagiingat. One wrong move and you're dead. Nung papasok pa kami, may nakita akong babaeng umiiyak. What an encouragement. haha Lots of reasons to go back: Bomod-ok falls, Kiltepan Peak, Lemon Pie and Yoghurt House. Sarap ng blueberry muffins sa Sagada! I wanna go back...

April 6 ang sat, so your tentative sked will be April 6-9, tama ba?

April 6, you can leave early pero I think di ka rin makakarating sa Sagada on the same day. Kung Baguio route mo, that will be 6hrs travel Mla-Baguio, alanganin since I think last trip for Baguio-Sagada is 1PM (another 6hrs travel). If Banaue route naman wala ako alam na bus company na meron daytrip. Ohayami bus bound to Banaue has 2trips 9/10PM. You can check other routes kaya lang baka palipat lipat ng sakay.

Here's my suggestion
April 6 Night - Leave for Sagada
April 7 Afternoon - Arrival in Sagada, check in, start of activity
April 8 - Sagada, whole day activities
April 9 - Travel back to Manila (choose the Baguio route). More or less before 9PM nasa Manila ka na.
          You need to leave for Baguio ng maaga mga 7-8 AM + 6hrs. 2PM nasa Baguio ka and another 6-7hrs ulit pa Manila naman. Much better if you can ride yung mga nonstop buses Baguio-Manila.

a.k.a. HELGA Thanks sis..  sad to say di na ako matutuloy alanganin e.. so baka nexttime na lang ang sagada ko.

gusto ko bumalik ulit ng sagada!!! bitin talaga ako nung trip namin since umulan. one whole day wasted! puro food trip nangyari.    Since puro kain kami, we tried yoghurt in every restaurant that we ate in, For me, the best yung yoghurt sa Strawberry cafe, dami pa ng serving, and definitely cheaper than the other known restaurants gaya ng Youghurt House. Maganda lang talaga yung place nila unlike sa strawberry cafe since bahay lang ata siya na kinonverte to a restaurant kaya walang masyado photo ops.
