Excited to be back here this time with one of my closest friend. Sana malamig pa rin kahit on the last week of Feb,

hi!! we r planning to go to sagada this coming holyweek everything is ready... the accommodations and we already hired a van to get us there,.. we are 12 pax already but a few changed their mind so if there are someone who wants to join our group to cut the cost u r very much welcome...

0350H: Arrival at Victory Liner Baguio/Taxi to Dangwa Terminal
0400H: Arrival at Dangwa Terminal/Breakfast
0530H: Departure of Lizardo Bus to Sagada
1115H: Arrival at Sagada
1145H: Lunch
1300H: Tour Echo Valley, Hanging Coffins, Small falls, St mary and Underground River
1700H: End of Tour
1900H: Dinner

Day 3
AM: Spelunking – Lumiang to Sumaguing Cave Connection
PM: Mt Ampacao – Lake Danum

Day 4
AM: Kiltepan Marlboro
PM: Trek to the Big Falls – Bomod-Ok falls (via Bangaan Rice Terraces)

isa sa pinagpipilian namin ang Sagada for holy week..gusto sana namin overnight stay sa baguio then the next day off to Sagada na..maganda raw dun but i'm not familiar sa mga magandang puntahan dun.. Any suggestion for ITI? and where to stay? yung kay sis shalikah ok na rin ang activities.. Gusto ko dun kasi sabi nila malamig, and yun ang gusto ko..haha..

hi.. Tuloy pa ba kayo this coming holy week? Gusto kong pumunta ng Sagada. Ilang nights plano niyo?

may nakapagtrek na ba sa inyo sa mt.ampacao? madali ba yung trek? isasama ko kasi nanay ko, eh yung punta namin last year kinaya naman niya ang marlboro trek.

Me! Just 2 weeks ago. Kerri naman. Nakakapagod lang yung uphill trekking, good thing Kuya Sotero gave me a walking stick Super nice view sa itaas..


I keep coming back to Sagada! 2years in a row and hoping to go there again next year. Eto pambungad gala ko for the year

Weather was not so great during our trip, maulan sa Banaue. We were not able to see the rice terraces but upon reaching Bontoc at hanggang makarating na sa Sagada, good weather na, clear sky. We stayed at George Guesthouse, again. Sa pink room, again. Kuya Sotero was our guide, again. It feels like homecoming lang. First activity of the day, cave connection. No other words to describe it but buwis buhay. Grabe. I dont see myself doing it again. LOL.. Second day, we went to Echo valley in the morning, kami lang ng friend ko. Ikot ikot ng konti. Then after lunch, trekking na Mt. Ampacao-Lake Danum. Pagoda! Natulog kami na nilotion sa buong katawan ang omega. On our third day, we made a quick trip to Kitelpan Sunrise viewing, failed! Masyadong maulap at mailap si Haring Araw (another reason to come back). We took the Baguio route on our way back to Manila. Will be posting in the local expenses thread my expenses for the benefit of those planning to go to Sagada.

^ haha same here sis! pang ilang punta mo na yan ng sagada?  last year twice ako pumunta, tapos baka bumalik ulit kami sa april. green na green daw kasi ang mga rice tarraces pag summer. 

eh sis yung bomod-ok falls napuntahan mo na? kasama ko kasi nanay ko, kaso baka hindi nya kayanin yung bomod-ok kaya mt.ampacao naiisip kong alternative. gusto nya rin bumalik eh hehe.

^ Twice pa lang sis. But I really fell inlove with Sagada kaya I will keep on coming back. Di pa ako nakakapunta sa Bomod-ok Falls, next year. And yes, according kay Kuya Sotero best months will be April and Nov. Have fun!!

yep well be staying for 3 days and 2 nyts 28-30

balik ako dito sa holyweek. outreach muna kami then tour na at kahit na 3rd time ko na dito marami ang magiging first time kong maeexperience like cave connection and trek to mt. ampacao. sana kayanin ko.

^^^missreese, i suggest you travel at night Manila to Baguio or Banaue, whatever route you prefer. Mas mamaximize mo time mo sa Sagada. Also, if you do daytrip travel maghintay ka pa ng following day para makabiyahe to Sagada. As far as I know, last trip Baguio to Sagada is 1PM since 6hrs yun and medyo delikado ang daan, not sure with Banaue/Bontoc to Sagada but I think its around that time also.

Hello! We're planning to got to Sagada by next week and wala pa rin kaming naka-book na rooms. We tried contacting Kanip-aw... they asked for a downpayment but they said na kapag nasa bank nalang kami, saka nalang nila ibigay ang acct. number nila. Ganun ba talaga? And as opposed sa mga nababasa ko re: owners ng Kanip-aw, parang di naman sila ganun ka-accommodating nung tinawagan ko sila. Please enlighten me regarding these matters... I just wanna make sure na sila talaga kausap ko. May iba pa ba kayong contact numbers ng Kanip-aw? OR a better place to stay? Thanks!

Hi sis. Plan ko actually pumunta ng sagada as a solo traveller or baka kasama yung friend ko. I am reading blogs and based na rin sa mga kwento sa akin, kaya naman sya as a solo traveller. kumbaga sa byahe ka lang solo tapos pag dating mo dun isasama ka na sa group para sa mga activities like cave spelunking.


Ang question ko is anong month ba magandang pumunta ng sagada? yung hindi msyadong maraming tao like this holy week, or hindi maulan?

Diba mga sis maulan pag August, advisable pa ba pumunta dun ng ganung time? Iniisip ko kasi di naman na masyado binabagyo ang Luzon so baka pwedeng August pumuntang Sagada.
