yung supplier po ba ng lights and sounds are usual na nagpo-provide din ng drapes sa wall? if yes, sino ang mga recommended suppliers?

^Not all L&S provide wall or ceiling drapes. Usually stylist or florist and nag provide nyan. But alam ko Sensitivity provides drapes and I heard maayos sila gumawa.

Hi mga sis, just need some advice...my wedding reception is scheduled around lunch time and it's indoor but overlooking taal...I was just thinking maybe just rent more on the sounds but not focus on the lights since tanghaling tapat naman yun that way I can haggle to the suppliers for a cheaper deal...what do you girls think? Thanks...

korek ka sis. if outdoor at lunch naman ang reception then i don't think you should invest on lights but on sounds talaga. saka yung overall styling ng reception. just my two cents sis:)

Okay so this is the one thing my coordinator recommended we further upgrade.. even after i availed of a partial upgrade already when i booked. Reaction ko talaga, Ha?? Nag-partial upgrade na nga ako eh!! Hahaha! Nahalata ata pagkakuripot ko. Cant believe 42k na L&S ko so far kulang padin! Laki daw kasi ng tent ko... she knows the standard number of each kind of light needed but she'll try to add some and remove some elements in my package and hopefully it evens out... im glad i booked someone who knows what is kulang and sobra in one look at my contract because i told her i cant interpret talaga what those light specs mean in terms of the look im trying to achieve. Basta sinabi ko nalang sa kanya what i wanna see na output. Haha! So best to have it checked by your coordinator

^sis sparklingjewel. Would you know how much you'll add up pa sa L&S? Sensitivity quote me 56K I don't know also if that's basic or upgraded. Haven't met up with Kutchie yet since my wedding is late next year. I'm afraid that quote is not enough yet. That would end up like so costly for out budget na sa L&S. Yikes.

Sparklingjewel: What needs to be upgraded? I really noticed that with high-end coordinators and stylists they really have a lot of lighting requirements.

As for me I currently have a total of 36 PAR lamps, and 6 moving heads. Although that was the very minimum my stylist required me to have. I am worried it might not be enough for my venue. I am just wondering what the specific lighting requirements of the others are. Because I dont really want to scrimp on lighting because in a way its even more important than styling.

BTW... I got 5th Element. The package I have is 60 k but including an LED wall. The orginal suggestion of 5th Element kasi is that I needed at least 44 PAR lamps. I dunno if I should just upgrade later on too.

Friends... Chili1113 and msdianne, I won't be of much help in L&S really because I myself i dont know what is "enough". I just showed her what Sensitivity recommended for my venue (which i booked outright) and apparently it is not yet enough for my venue / the standards of Kutchie. From what i know lang.. she said it's kulang because my tent is really big (100 X 40 X 20 ft yata) but after i told her i wasnt using drapes or anything of the sort kasi nga clear tent drama ko, sabi nya ah ok sige, maybe we can add here and subtract here. She'll be the one to coordinate with Sensitivity on that. Only thing i caught her saying rin was that she wants to add more moving heads to  really play up the venue in preparation for the after party.

Chili1113, mura na your quote. Mine is 42k L&S wala pa yung 2 LED walls ko. Haha so with the upgrade and LED walls feeling ko lampas 100k din. Hay, e di sana nag Forscink nalang din ako para bongga na talaga, they can setup pa on my tent since sa kanila din! Ganun din pala aabutin.  Agree with you though that its still important to have the right L&S--i hate how the pictures turn out pag bano eh...

msdianne, is your 56k with LED wall na? Are you indoor or outdoor?

From what I know while I was canvassing, what really drives up the price of the lights and sounds contract are the specs and brand of the audio equipment, and lighting effects like such as moving heads, laser lights etc.  My original proposal from 5th Element was 70k but it went down to 60k when I asked them to downgrade the speakers and change my band setup to a DJ setup.

PAR lamps arent expensive. Based on my notes Sensitivity charge 2k per additional set of 8 units PAR lamps, while 5th Element charges P400 per PAR lamp unit.

Moving heads are more expensive though. 1 unit is 2k rental from Sensitivity.

Sparklingjewel: Nako if you got Forscink you will be paying waaaay more that what you would pay with Sensitivity for the same requirements. =)
