hi sis mafi for me lighting creates a mood esp kung indoor ang venue at afternoon ang wedding.nag iiba ang ambiance sis,naiimagine ko yung venue ko without lights para lang syang fastfood *walang kabuhay-buhay* considering na may mga programs pa na magaganap for sound system sis kung may free na sa venue sino po ang nakaasign magpatugtog para sa mga songlist mu? ok ba sound system nila like hindi basag yung ang sakit sa tenga.waaaa sis same tayo May malapit na!!!

hi sis chubbycheeks17, pwede ko bang mahingi ang number or email ni metrotech?

mga sis, meron ba kayong maisa-suggest sa light effects kung vintage shabby chic ang peg ng reception? kasi okay lang sana sa akin kung walang light effects kasi gusto ko nga sana muted lang ang ilaw ko para maappreciate ng guests yung "vintage" feel ng event. IMO, kung masyadong makulay ang lights, parang madedefeat ang theme ng wedding. our venue is plaza ibarra pala, its pretty small and has basic yellow lights. ang problem ko lang, since 5PM onwards na yung reception, baka magkapaan na kami sa loob ng venue pag kagat ng dilim! haha.

btw, meron pala kaming free follow spot light (definitely makikita kmi ni h2b), bubble machine at fog machine. any suggestions and ideas sa lights mga sis? thanks!

Basic lights and sounds tips

PAR lights - better kung LED. hindi mainit tulad ng bulb type and hindi rin malakas sa kuryente
               - the higher the wattage the brighter
               - dapat DMX controlled
               - get the required quantity for your venue

Moving heads - mas okay kung controlled. hindi yun gumagalaw lan g mag isa or sound activated
                     - GOBO option

Lasers/Blinker/Strobe - hindi ko type ito for weddings. pero kung may after party ka pwede na.

Speakers
               Full range or PA - make sure lang to get the right quantity for your venue
                                       - 2 to 4 pieces
               Subwoofer - Boom boom bass. Not really required if traditional reception lang.
                                  hindi naman kailangan ng heart pounding bass sa PA or Vocals.
                                  Kung may after dance party masusulit pwede pa. you can negotiate
                                  na palitan na lang ng full range speakers instead

Inputs
For acoustic band make sure na linawin nyo sa contract ang setup nito.
some providers will tell you na pwede ang acoustic band. they will be the one who will provide the DI box. Most but not all bands bring or have their own DI box.
Hindi required ang DI box unless papayag ang sound provider na ikabit directly ang instruments like acoustic guitar sa mixer. hindi kasi ito recommended gawin.

Smoke/Fog/Bubbles Machine - Mas type ko ang Low Fog Machine (cloud effect)

Mics: Make sure kung ilan ang need nyo na mics to save time and energy wireless is better

DJ: Kausapin maiigi ang DJ regarding sa playlist. baka puro gangnam style ang patugtugin hehe

Just had our wedding last 1/9/13. Panalo ang setup ng JK sounds and lights..
sobrang bait nila kausap. no wonder sila kinuha ng hubby ko. imagine sa bulacan pa pala sila naka base. May knowledge kasi si hubby sa lights and sounds kaya alam nya kung dinadaanan lang sya sa sales talk. nun tinanong ko ang hubby ko bakit sila ang pinili nya. ito yun mga sagot nya saken

1) Equipments ( lights/sound/projector)
- Reliable brands ang gamit nila
- Above the minimum sa required specs ang kasama sa package

2) Price
- Hubby showed me 10 different quotations. 2 out of the 10 suppliers ang may pinaka okay na rate  One is yun sa JK.
- He explained to me na di nag kakalayo price yun dalawang supplier pero kung titignan ko daw yun location na pang gagalingan mas maganda pa rin ang offer ng JK

3) Communication
- Dito napabilib si hubby kasi straight kausap si jun
- Ramdam mo talaga yun concern and willingness nila to provide good service.

imagine our gazebo pa lang , 8 pcs. na par led lights ang naka allocate.. panalo talaga
and yun venue covered lahat ng Par lights na naka setup sa mga sides, mga 12pcs yata yun
sa sounds naman super clear yun voice ni father kasi every corner meron speaker.

Orange Lights and Sounds anyone?

ako sis, orange lights and sounds kami for my wedding last month. ok sila. mabait and ok kausap si ms. athel. willing to accommodate your requests. she even offered to adjust their rates kasi nagpabawas ako ng lights from their default package (kasi may lights na kasama yung styling namin). The crew naman ok din. we didn't have a complicated program. wala nga kaming special numbers or intermissions, but along with the emcee, nadala naman nila with the background music yung event. no dead air and may presence of mind which songs are appropriate for certain parts of your program.

hi sisters.. my WC is about to book Circuit1 DiscoTech. The package I got is very affordable and super pasok sa budget namin. He's a Girltalker (user c-1 if i remember it right). Sana lang hindi sila matraffic on our wedding day kasi ang layo ng distance from their place to the venue.
