kelangan ba pag-juice mo, inumin agad agad? hindi ba pwedeng umabot the next or even the day? for example, sa umaga ako gumawa, pwede na bang hanggang sa gabi of the same day na yon or even the next day?

how much ba ang hurom? paki-pm sis Aubn ng number nya. Thanks!

Dapat maconsume in 1-2 hours but it can last for a day or two pa when it is placed in air-tight jars like mason. Ang daming mason jars na available, colorful at nakaka inspire gamitin with matching paper straws. :D

Question lang, is juicing better than eating it raw or boiled? Or same lang naman nutrients na makukuha? :)

You get the same nutrients from eating and juicing with a few differences:

1. Juicing (removing the pulp) will give you nutrients while letting your digestive system rest due to the lack of fiber that is needed for processing.

2. Juicing will allow your body to absorb nutrients more quickly because the nutrients are liquefied already.

IMO, you don't really need to juice unless you want to rest your digestive system and undertake a cleanse or unless you are gently breaking a fast. If you're not doing a fast, I think it's best to do your juicing in the morning, when your tummy is relatively empty. Otherwise, you can eat the fruit and veggies or make a smoothie

hi sis. the difference is un mga mura high speed juicer yun. you do not get the same quantity and quality of juice as compared to a low speed. :)

aww ok thanks sis. Is it worth it to invest that much on a juicer?

Tried juice jab last May, very okay sya, no need for tea!

Hubby and i have been juicing for more than a month now. One masor jar of juice each day. We don't replace a meal with it though we lessen our other food intake. Also, as much as possible no rice kami. Usually weekend lang kami may rice and less talaga yung amount.

Philips juicer yung gamit namin and even though it is not a slow juicer, we are satisfied naman with its output. I re-feed the pulps para mas maraming makuhang juice and i also use the pulps as extenders sa meatballs, etc. Most of the time, i compost the pulps for my small garden.

We are planning to have a one day juice cleanse soon. Sana makayanan namin.  :)

everyday na din kami nagju-juicing dito sa bahay. tatlo kami ng husband at mother-in-law ko. mga 2 glasses a day kami usually, iba ibang recipes tinatry ko each time para walang sawa factor (also experimenting with ingredient additions-- and lahat ng juices nilalagyan ko ng lemon and ginger for extra detox points).

i haven't really lost weight kasi di naman ako nagfafast pero i feel more secure health-wise kapag nagju-juice ako. yun nga lang centrifugal kasi ang juicer namin kaya yung mga leafy veggies konti lang ang nakukuhang juice.

i've tried those online juicing detox programs,  ewan di sya nagwowork for me, siguro kasi ang takaw ko lang talaga and can't go on a day without a real meal. not a good way to lose weight, kasi crash diet na yun e. for detox purposes, though, i'm hoping magawa ko without having to skip meals, yung long term juicing lang.

i've shared a few of my fave juicing recipes in my blog. friendly to those who don't like the taste of veggies. apples and oranges are the key. kapag may apples or oranges, no-offset ang taste ng greens. low-calorie pa kumpara sa ibang fruits like mangoes or pineapple

I've read somewhere that juicing isn't exactly healthy especially when you only juice fruits since it makes you consume more sugar. Also, you don't need to buy a high end juicer if you're only going to juice for personal consumption :)

^thanks sis, mano mano?? but my question is for garlic and ginger..

Yeah okay naman yung mga mura na juicer, i know someone na may Tefal, sa mga dept store ata yun, may nagagawa naman sila juice.. Mas marami lang talaga makukuha juice sa breville, hurom (which is more tipid) & sabi mas matagal lang daw ang storage life & something about the nutrients also :D

Yes, pwede. I love eating garlic! But yung ginger, eew! Acquired taste talaga yung ginger. Haha

Hurom has problems with fibrous veggies nag sstuck up daw, unlike sa matstone na no problem at all kahit with fibrous ones. Need lang talaga icut to smallest pieces kapag hurom ang gamit. Kaya torn tuloy ako pero I'm not in a hurry to buy juicer. Mahal. For a meantime, nag pupurchase ako online sa IG, 120 per bottle but need to add for thermal bag and delivery fee. :)
