I'm having a great time with my juicer at home. Hurom yung brand niya. Ang na-try ko na recipe is the Spinach + Carrot + Apple + Parsley (wrote about it). In case you're wondering which juicer brand is good, okay ang Matstone and Hurom.  ;D

I've been juicing for 2 months now and so far ang ganda talaga ng results sa akin.  I started juicing kasi naglabasan na mga sakit ko last year like allergies and hives. I also needed to lose weight talaga.

Now I feel lighter and yung mga nagmamanifest na sakit sa akin last year, nawala na. Im doing my daily cardio excercise na din every other day para mas effective din  ang juicing. But I want a better juicer, I bought Dowell brand lang kasi, since I wanted to try juicing now I want a better juicer na, which is better ba and value for money? I have been told na Jack Lalaine pa din daw yung ok but someone also mentioned Matstone and Hurom, would anyone know how much ang mga to? and where I could buy it.

Let me know mga sis :) Thanks!

I just bought my juicer a month ago and I really enjoy juicing. I bought my HUROM for 15k pero super sulit sya. It looks expensive for others but this is an investment. Just this about if you're buying electronic gadgets, that's more expensive di ba, I bought this to lose some weight and of course for health reason.

I've been enjoying this kasi mabilis akong mabawasan ng timbang tapos no need to worry kasi healthy ito. Medyo mahal nga lang kung tuloy tuloy kasi mahal ang veggies but I'm always comparing it instead of buying in some fast food. My common inredients is 1 carrot, 1 cucumber, 1 apple, 1 orange and 1 bell pepper. I love it!

I'll really do this na. I eat a lot of veggies naman on a daily basis pero yung hubby ko hindi masyado. I'll use
a blender and sometimes a juicer para we can also get the fibers out of the veggies and fruits. I prefer it that way. Feeling ko naman I'll enjoy
this since my palette has been trained to enjoy the weidest veggies.

Mag grocery na ako tomorrow lol. Excited much. Please keep sharing your recipes.

Anti-acne juice:
10 carrots
Handful of spinach
2 ribs of celery
1/2 cup watercress

Potassium juice
1 celery
4 carrots
1 apple
1/4 cup parsley
1/4 cup spinach
1/2 lemon
2 bananas

* 1/4 or 1/2 lemon effectively counter bitterness of greens when you make your vegetable juice

For those beginning to include fruit and vegetable juice in your diet, here's a beginner recipe:

Carrot and ginger juice
6 large carrots
2 cucumbers
1-inch chunk of ginger

*ginger has dramatic effects on cardiovascular health,i.e. prevents atherosclerosis and lowers LDL

Sweet spinach carrot juice
4 large carrots
2 cups spinach
1 small bunch of watercress
1/2 inch slice of ginger
1 clove garlic

Ref it siguro for a max of 1 hour lang or sige 2 hours siguro.

Personally, I drink Juices immediately if not sooner! Siguro I'll palamig lang sa ref or freezer for a while...and then drink ko na agad kasi I've read somewhere that the moment you juice a fruit or vegetable, it starts to oxidize (destroys a lot of the nutrition so parang na defeat din yung purpose mo ng pag juice). So don’t juice it unless you can drink it almost immediately. If you have to, you can drink it maybe 45 minutes or a little more later.

If you must keep juice for awhile, you carefully pour it into a thermos or air-tight GLASS jar - do not use plastic. Wrap the jar in foil to block out light, para hindi ma degrade nutrition, then store in the refrigerator.

^ Ay same tayo. Before kasi I'm after cleansing eh since tapos na ako doon, my goal naman is to maintain and/or mag bawas pa ng weight. If you can, gawin mo siyang meal replacement (meaning breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or snacks) and then drink freshly brewed green tea or distilled water kapag nagugutom.

Maganda din daw kung may source ka pa ng proteins and konting fats from time to time so your body does not go into survival mode and slows your metabolism.

Try mo recent recipes ko sis:
Apple
Celery
Cucumber
Ginger
Kale (alam ko mahirap maka buy nito, so sometimes I switch to spinach or romaine)
Lemon

Apple
Cucumber
Kale
Lemon
Spinach

Apple
Carrot
Cucumber
Grapes
Spinach
Tomato
