Hi mspepot. I underwent IUI last year and it was successful. My baby is turning 7 months old on the 28th of May. Binawalan lang ako ni ob mag exercise and coffee before and after and all throughout my pregnancy. I guess basta wag ka lang magpatagtag. Tapos you have to lie on your back for an hour after the IUI.

Avoid stress, no caffeine. - pre-IUI man, o post IUI, until forever. 

Pre IUI - wala masyado prep. Kasi ang pinakaprep mo naman jan eh nakainom ka ng meds mo diligently, at nakapagpa-FM ka at sure na may mature follicle. The most important factor eh timing. Some OBs, like yung OB ni sis Shane, 36 hours inject ng HCG before procedure. In my case naman, a + OPK yung trigger namin. the day after I got a + OPK, we did the procedure, then saka ako sinaksakan ng trigger shot.

Post IUI - avoid heavy exercises, sabi ng iba bawal ang stairs. Chores siguro okay na, wag lang magbuhat buhat ng mabibigat. Our sisters here also recommended to eat pineapple core for 5 days starting the day of the IUI. Tapos sleep early lang, rest well, drink lots of fluids and be healthy.

Next month pa koo nka sched for iui. Ang iniisip ko kc [textspeak!] everyday work ko  matatag din [textspeak!] byahe from house to work un iniaalala ko [textspeak!] stress ang hirap din iwasan.

Hi! No, my husband had normal SA. we've had 3 medicated cycles prior the IUI, 2 years TTC. My OB advised after we fail the third, we can look at the IUI option. And so we did, post sperm wash of my husband is also average, not low but not high as well.

After the long dreaded 2 week wait, our first IUI worked!! I AM PREGNANT!!! Still over the moon. I am only officially 4w2d now, blood test & hcg beta testing confirmed the pregnancy I am still waiting for the signal of Dra. Fernandez to do the TVS (around 5-6weeks daw ideal).

She's my angel doctor Can't believe ours worked on the first try.

she's my ob now, sis. hopefully, sya na din ang angel doc ko. first cycle ko pa lang with her. natural muna for now.

Nagpa Iui kami ni hubby yesterday sept 28..  Normal naman sa part ko pero si hubby sperm wash nya is 1.7m & morphology 85%.. sna successful iui namin.

Sis, shes also my OB. It's 2021 na I know, but for the benefit of other readers, I'm answering your question. Hehe I'm told it's 25k daw, including PF na.
