hello po, may quiestion lang ako sa mga sis natin na nagpa IUI na:

1. nagpa HSG ba muna kayo before doing IUI?
2. ilang weeks ang work up para sa IUI? Both OFW kasi kami ni hubby kaya iniisip ko kung kaya ba sa dates na bakasyon kami.
3. anong CD start ng meds and CD na natatapos yung procedure and meds na pina take sa inyo?

thanks mga sis. BTW, diagnose with PCOS both ovaries last dec2012 & may2013. pero as per TVU ko last Dec 2013, hindi nakita si PCOS even the small myoma. i hope magtuloy tuloy na sya mawala at di na bumalik.

hi sis! just had my iui last week and ito un ginawa namin:

cd2 - check up with my ob
cd2 to cd7 - letrozole
cd10 - check ovulation. positive lh  na so ng IUI na kami that day
        - pregnyl injection to rupture the eggs
cd11 - start na ng utrogestan. 3x a day for 14 days

pag wala pa menstruation after 3 wks, balik daw ako sa ob

i had hsg last 2011 sis pero di agad ako ngpa iui. trineat muna un immune problems ko

To all sisies na nakapagIUI what are the test need to be done for  the treatment? Any preparation or medication prior to the treatment? After all the test and preparation how long will it take to see the result? Many Thanks in advance.

Hi mga sis! Iui na po ako this cycle..

Protocol ko po:
Cd1
Cd2-6 clomid
Cd7-10 gonal f
Cd10 tvs for follicle monitoring and
if size is below 16mm, inject ovidrel
If above, iui nah!

Im on my cd7 tonight 04.20.2014

Nakakatawa mga sis, since close ang fertility clinic from holy week vacations, we need to inject the gonal myself. But since takot ako sa needles, husband ko nag tusok! Kahit takot siya at naawa sa pagtusok, ever supportive naman si hubbyby! Kinilig lang ako! Hopeful for a bfp next month but im trying to be ready if its not happening!

Sino po sa inyo mga sissies na kasabay ko this month sa iui?

Sis depende sa findings ng test mu. If picos kaba? Or if nangitlog kaba? Or if yung itlog mu, hindi huminog? Or if tube mu blocked? Depende sa case talaga sis..

Tvs and blood test sis. Hindi ko maalaala ang term sa blood test pero mahal siya, 10k yung fee. Hormone blood test ata yun..

Hi sis, share ko Lang, my hubby was also diagnosed with severe teratozoospermia, but my ob said she's not concerned about it daw Dahil ok naman Ang count Nya, and she said we only need 1 sperm to fertilize an egg. Poor liquefaction din sya. Ako naman, poor egg quality Ang diagnosis.

On our 2nd iui, we finally got our most awaited BFP after 3yrs and 3 months. Currently 9 weeks pregnant and constantly praying for a smooth pregnancy and healthy baby.

My hubby and I both took traditional Chinese medicine (boiled herbal meds) in conjunction with the western meds that the ob prescribed, which I think greatly helped hubby's sperm performance hehe

Nalungkot lang ako kasi its my bday, and i decided to celebrate it with our families and friends at our house. Nakaka stress pala, and im afraid baka failed iui namin. Nag away pa naman kami ni hubby dahil gusto niya mag rest lang ako pero ininsist ko parin bday ko. Ang t**** lang noh. Ngayon na sobrang pagod ko, nag regret ako. t**** lang talaga ako. Ang sarap e iyak!

our second iui failed, last april 11 went to dra.mae syki-young for our 2nd iui (1st iui was successful last nov2012 but chemical pregnancy) walang prepare prepare biglaan lang kami nagdecide. Had 2 eggs tig isa bawat ovary. But still failed pa din. Siguro napagod ako sa biyahe namin nung holyweek sa pangasinan almost 12 hrs kami nasa biyahe sa sobrang trapik papunta ng patar, bolinao. Tapos biyahe ng sual-manaoag-sual tig 2hours drive tapos kinabukasan uwe na ng manila. Hayst. Nung saturday ako nagkaron ng brown discharge at naiyak talaga ako kasi failed yung iui namin kung kelan mas marami yung spermcount ni hubby, mas makapal yung lining ko at mas malaki yung eggs ko. So kahapon nag punta ako kay dr.tan ng binondo para itry yung TCM nila. Baka sa july na lang ulit kami magpa iui ihahanda ko muna yung katawan ko through TCM. =D

Sis kinabahan ako sayo, napagod kasi ako april 28 sa bday ko, kaka asikaso ng mga bisita. Tagal ko nga natulog mga 12midnight na after sa party ko. My af is due may 14..

Pero sabi ko nga, kakapit at kakapit talaga si baby if he ir she is healthy. If wala, think ko na lang na baka hindi dapat mag continue if magiging unhealthy lang siya. Tingin ko malapit na sayo sis..

Bfn for my first iui. Af came with a revenge, ang sakit ng dysminnorhea. Ang sakit din sa puso't kaluluwa! Lol!
Lord ikaw ng bahala, thy will be done.

Im kinda discourage na talaga but since, when i created this timeline, i thought to myself, na parang kulang ang effort ko. For the meantime, rest muna ako then be back with medicAtion by september.

Hubby and I are planning to have IUI na rin this year. Kaso recently I've been diagnosed with bilateral endometrioma. Sabi nung OB na nag ultrasound sa akin, dapat muna icorrect yung problem ko, and in my case, kailangan tanggalin yung cyst dahil nasa 4cm na raw. Nakakalungkot lang kasi ang tagal ko na nagpapaalaga sa OB, tapos kampante ako na OK ang results ng previous ultrasounds ko sabay ganito. Last tvs ko was September last year, everything was ok naman. Then March, ayun may nakita. April, same results kaya nagtataka rin yung current OB ko kung bakit hindi raw nakita noon ang endo ko. Nakakainis lang, hindi ko alam kung anong iisipin ko. Naloko ba ako ng dati kong OB? 

Mga sis, meron bang may similar situation sa akin dito? Paano nyo nacorrect? Pwede pa rin kaya magpa IUI kahit may cyst ako? Kasi yung iba naman nabubuntis kahit may cyst e.

^salamat sis. oo nga e.. 3rd OB ko na kasi yung ngayon, yung 2nd OB ko kasi hindi infertility specialist kaya lumipat ako. ang tagal ko na kasi nagpapacheck sa kanya, pare-pareho lang sinasabi every FM ko, kesyo ang ganda ng lining, ang linis ng matres, etc etc. Pero nung June 2012, may nakita na sa akin na parang cyst sa isang ovary lang pero sa mismong ultrasound section ang gumawa nun sa akin, tapos ni-tvs ako ulit ni 2nd OB, napagkamalan lang daw na cyst yun kaya wala ako dapat ipag worry.

sana may makapag share po kung meron ng may endo tapos na preggy pa rin kahit thru iui.. salamat

Hi sissies! Just to share.. i had my first IUI this afternoon with Dra. Meguizo at CARMI. We've been TTC for 7years due to unexplained infertility. While she's doing my UIU, she saw some uterine polyps and had it removed also. She said that could be one of the reason why i'm not getting pregnant.
As for Dra. Meguizo, im glad ive met her coz she's super nice. She's the kind of OB i'm looking for. She has a good memory of her patients too, so you won't have to worry that she might wronged you as another patient (that happened to me once). I was instructed to take a certain medicine where in fact it was meant for another patient.
Anyway, i hope we make it this time. Let's just keep the faith and positive vibes. Good luck to us!

My 3rd IUI was a success. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant. Haven't posted here for the longest time kasi super busy and sobra din selan ng pregnancy ko.

TTC for almost 2 years. Underwent 2 IUIs with previous doctor. Then once lang with Dr. Joan Tan-Garcia and it was a success. IUI was done at Victory Art in Makati. Our case was PCOS then husband has poor morphology and motility

D ko na maalala exactly what we did, but you can check out my previous posts sa TTC 15 pa.

All i remember now is:
Gonal-f shots (I injected myself daily for a week ata)
January 11 - Pregnyl as trigger
January 12 - IUI after the trigger (with 3 eggs)
Crinone (vaginal suppository) daily for 9 days ata
February 1 - BFP! Blood test done

Meds taken:
Metformin, Folic Acid, Vit. C, Fish Oil (For me)
Husband naman was taking Vit. C, Maca, CoQ 10, Vit B12

I had my hysteria done prior my very first IUI procedure. Patent naman tubes.

I'm on my 2WW and I've been reading a lot of forums about IUIs lately, locally and internationally. I am happy that most of our sissies here have a very positive vibe. I stopped reading international forums as they all seem to be so totally depressed and almost suicidal. Kudos to all ttc women! I know our life will never end even without a child. God is there and He knows better plans for us. Keep on hoping and praying. Life is good!
