Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) Thread 5

Sis day 10 ginawa iui procedure mo? Maaga ka ba nag oovulate.

I had my Pregnyl shot around 10pm ng Day10. It's a trigger shot so timing is really important.  Take note that I had Femara from Day 3 to 7 so may follicle monitoring ako kay Dra before she decides to give me the shots. Nakikita nya yun sa ultrasound nya. Then on Day 12, husband had sperm washing at CARMI 8am. That would take around two hours before the IUI procedure is done to me.
Malaking factor ang may sariling ultrasound ang OB. She can closely monitor you before any meds are given or any procedure is done. Automatic un may ultrasound ako tuwing consultation which is actually relatively cheaper dahil 700 lang yun sa kanya compared sa 2K.

^hi sis, from what I remember dapat sa day ng ovulation mo usually mga day 14. Tapos 2 week-wait para ma-confirm kung successful ang procedure.

Hello mga sis... Bago lang po ako sa thread na to. 
Eto po case ko:
I wad diagnosed with bilateral hydrosalpinx and pcos. July19 nag undergo ako ng laparoscopy to repair my tubes.
For iui na po kamo this cycle. Yesterday was my follicle monitoring 1.6cm plang yung largest follie ko kaya we will have another follicle monitoring tom. And hopefully iui on fri. Question lang po mga sis? After iui bedrest b dapat? Tia mga sis

Hi mga sis, im new here. I have been ttc for baby no.2 sana.
dati i got prenant one try lang ng clomid. this time, d na gumana clomid. so my ob gave me
Letrozole plus Puregon Pen and utrogestan. delayed for 5 days na, negative pa rin ako, my ob said over 30 days naa ako. so probably im not really pregnant. tapos nagbleed ako after taking utrogestan. my ob asked me if we want to try IUI. mga sis, gaano ba kalaki ang chance ma preggy? we're thinking palang ni hubby if we should. laki na rin kasi ng nagagastos sa mga medicines. im 30 yrs old and have PCOS. hope to hear from you sis thanks in advance

mas mataas chance sa IUI sis kesa sa clomid lang. Tama ka, magastos nga sa meds kaya nga hirap din tuloy-tuloy dahil sa gastos.

Hi, it depends din kasi kung paano mag respond body mo sa meds. Like me, I had my IUI late at CD 17 kasi sobrang PCOS ako and very slow ako mag respond sa meds, OB mo bahala mag decide when to do the procedure based on the ultrasounds performed. I had clomid and gonal-f as my follicle stimulator then pregnyl for my trigger. Meron din ako progesterone shots for support just in case ma fertilize ang egg ng sperm. Had my IUI last March 27 and it was a success. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant. Goodluck mga sis, don't loose hope.

Hi poshgirl,

Tama mga sis natin na mas higher ang chance ng IUI compared to clomid alone. Kami we did clomid with duphaston for a long time (more than a year) with rest in between di talaga kami naka buo but with IUI first try we got pregnant, were very thankful kasi sabi ng OB ko 20-30% chance lang talaga but mas tumataas ang chance pag repeat IUI kasi mas tama na ang dosage ng meds. Pag usapan nyo mabuti mag asawa kasi ako I wasn't ready before (1 year ago) kasi depressed pa ako, we were TTC for more than 3 years na kasi. Pag ready na kayo emotionally and financially pwede na mag IUI kasi di din biro ang gastos and pag fail ang sakit na naman sa kalooban. Hope this helps.

Hi mga sis! 4th cycle na kami with monitoring, injectables, meds pero wala pa rin. Nakaka frustrate. Ask ko RE ko if puede nako sa iui, sabi niya hindipa daw kasi mataas pa 17 OH PROGESTERONE ko. Takot din ako if ano kaya kahinatnan nitong medication ko. Sino po nakapag test ng 17 OH sa inyo?

stay positive, ladies. i had 5 IUI's before i got pregnant. i took things in easy strides. i cried only once out of sheer frustration, but after that, i took it easy again each time another try failed. my hubby and i enjoyed our time alone together without a baby while TTC. we just kept the faith that if it's time, we will be blessed with our own child. while waiting, each time i get my menstruation, i took it as an opportunity to be able to run again (because i love to run) 

and also, i'd like to share with you what my friend said to me before while i was TTC. she said that our wish is God's will. Just believe
