hi danjoh, thank u sa reply. pa HSG muna ako then pag okey ang tubes ko, natural method muna, kapag hindi successful ang natural, pa IUI na ako. Hay, ang hirap naman pala gumawa ng bata, sana nag try na kami ni hubby noon pa. hehe

missed my IUI this cycle. was at OB last sat and was told to go back monday. humabol pa ko from office, lumabas na egg from the follicle  was ready pa naman to go on leave and this will be our 3rd IUI and have set a deadline for myself, it's this year or i give up.

need ko na kaya change ob? is dr angela ok and has a very personal approach and remembers what you have discussed from your last visit?

hindi pa ako nagpapa IUI. schedule pa lang ako ng HSG kay dra. de cadiz ng st. lukes QC. kinakabahan nga ako eh. titiisin ko ang sakit basta lang maganda ang result. sa Aug. 5 ang dating ng mens ko. Sana nga wag ng dumating eh. Sana buntis na ako para hindi na kami gumastos pa ni hubby.

i just have may hsg sobrang skit pala gusto ko na matapos agad nung umpisa palang buti nalang sabi ni ob maganda daw lahat kaya nakahinga rin ng maluwag si hubby nalng iwowork out

@sis danjoh di ko rin alam noon na ganun pala ang feeling pag HSG ang gagawin sau :-) kaloka nga pero tiniis ko rin gusto ko rin kasi malaman kung ano problem ko..pero thanks GOD at ok naman both normal....sana taon na naten ito :-)

Hello sis, na back read ko posts mu. Im w doc marivic tan of repro optima also. Follicle monitoring muna at first cycle ko this month w injections, etc. but today is my 17dpo and spotting na ako. Af is coming na. How are you there sa clinic? Ano na next move mu sis?

May pag asa pa sis. Kami nga if hindi pa rin sa up to 3cycles, try namin iui. Pag hindi pa rin, malay natin eto lang yung kailangan para maka conceive naturally. Diba sis?

sis danjoh, kamusta? nagpa-HSG na ako sa st.lukes qc 3750 lang binayaran ko. ok naman both tubes ko. thanks Lord! follicle monitoring na ako ngayon kasi second day ng mens ko pinainom na ako ng OB ko ng clomid 100 mg na agad nireseta niya 2 times a day ang inom.

sis kookai88 same talaga tayo sabi rin ng ob ko maganda lahat kaya pag ng mens ako 50mg ovamit naman iniinom ko para mura same effect din ng clomid 3xaday for 5 days pang 13day follicle monitoring pero nung last cycle ko ng ovulate naman ako kaya sana para satin na to!!

I don't use ovulation kit since may Follicle Monitoring (through ultrasound) nako under Dra. Manalo. In my case, I need trigger shots usually on my Day10 or if ok na yung size ng follicle. Then time is important - in 36 hours, the procedure must be done. Follow the instructions of our OBs. Otherwise, masayang lang ang effort and money.

I think this is on a case to case basis. 

In my case, I'm a PCOS patient.  So may additional gastos pako prior to the actual IUI procedure such as taking Femara on my Day 3 to 7 which would cost me almost 400 each tablet, twice a day.  Then I would need trigger shots normally on my Day 10 - I've tried both Ovidrel and Pregnyl in different cycles.  Each shot would cost you around 2K - I had two shots.  Since I'm a Vanbreda patient, the insurance could cover all the cost except the actual IUI procedure.  So I normally buy from Dra. Manalo's clinic na.

Our first actual IUI procedure, we had it in St. Luke's Global City last July lang.  Sperm Collection/Sperm Washing is taken in CARMI of St. Luke's - we paid for around PHP3,500.  They have double collection pa which I don't have an idea how much, pero husband did not need it that time since ok lahat ang stats nya.   Then, I had my IUI with Dra. Manalo sa clinic nya.  It's more expensive kung sa loob ng CARMI nya ko gagawin so dun kami sa clinic lang.  It's very comfortable na kc malaki ang clinic ni Dra. sa St. Lukes.  I paid her around 15K for the procedure.

Unfortunately, we were not lucky on our first try eventhough maganda lahat ng stats, mucus, egg.  Now, we can't proceed to the treatment because of my cyst.  Hopefully, when done with Laparoscopy we could continue na.

I've seen couples for IUI who were late in their apppointments.  Guys, it's not a joke to undergo these treatments - financially, physically and emotionally.  We should be responsible enough so always be sure that we are on time.  Dra said that timing is very important on this procedure.
