Hi mga Sis...

Just had my TVS yesterday. OK ang response ng body ko with Clomid. I have 6 folllies on the left ovary and 7 follies on the right ovary. OK din ang result ng SA ni Hubby... But the bad news is... I have 2 endometrial polyp (1cm & 0.5cm). Sabi ni Dra. Jing, if ever di kami makabuo this month... I need to have it remove next month...

may i ask how much an IUI session cost on average? lab fees and doctor's fee?

hi! had IUI yesterday and the procedure costs 10k. this is apart from the ultrasound bill that monitors the follicle size which my ob charges for only 600. she has her own ultrasound equipment and she reads it herself simultaneous with the checkup. she's very kind that when she charges for the ultrasound and blood tests she no longer bill us her pf. here are my other expenses:
pregnyl shot 2k
2x blood tests at 1k
duphaston 1.8l ovamit 1k
total ultrasound 2.4k

for this cycle, total spent is around 17.4k

this will be our 2nd try at IUI after the normal follicle monitoring we had last month but the last IUI done was 6years back. hope it works this time. baby dust to all!

buti ka pa sis dami mo follicles ako kasi 2 0r 3 follicles lang every month..siguro dahil nagkakaedad na ako..36yrs old na going to 37 and till now  di ko pa nararanasan magkababy...u mean sis magpapasurgery ka eh ang liit pa ng mga cycst...ako ako kasi sa right ovary 3cm na sabi ng ob ko no need to surgery kasi maliit pa nga..so natural lang muna kami..pero next month going to iui na kami kasi gustong gusto na talaga magkababy..sana magrant na ni GOD ang prayers naten..

Sis baby_soon... Siguro Sis hiyang lang ako sa Clomid. I'm 35 yrs. old na ako. Na-try mo bang magpa-AMH test (Anti-Mullerian Hormone), to check your ovarian reserve... I did the test last March... Thankfully at my age, normal ang result - 2.547ng/mL. Kaya madami akong follies. Sana makabuo kami this cycle para di muna ako magpa-opera.

Sad ako, AF came this morning... Next step polypectomy. Pahinga ng 1 month then proceed na sa IUI.

I'm under Dr. Jing... I went to her because of the nice comments I've read in this forum. She is so nice and caring sa mga patients nya. Talagang ine-explain nya ng mabuti yung mga procedures na pwede sa case mo. Last cycle nag-natural kami. Then after ng hysteroscopy ko this month. Balik ako kay Doc for my first IUI.

From what I've heard sa Sec nya yung latest IUI nya na successful was last Feb. at SLMC-Global. Not sure sa SLMC-QC kung when yung latest nila. Mag research ka pa SIS para makapili ka ng OB-RE na type mo... Goodluck

Sis im under dra jing i had my iui last feb at st lukes qc unfortunately nag failed ang first attempt namin. I might try again sa next cycle ko. With regards kay dra jing super mabait and explain sya sa amin ng hubby ko sa mga procedure na gagawin sa amin. ^Sis Trianna, Dra. Julio was my OB way back 2004. One shot at IUI lang ako successful agad. Sa retiro clinic ka nagpapacheck up or sa hopital clinic nya?  Goodluck sis!

wow! that's great to hear. we see her in retiro, lapit lang sa house. so the location is very convenient also. our IUI didnt work this cycle, we'll try again.

hello sisses. kagagaling ko lang kay OB kanina we are pushing through with the IUI pero dapat wala na daw SA-SA si hubby para wala ng stress na kagaya nun last cycle kaya hindi natuloy. pinalitan na din niya protocol with higher dosage ng steroids and additional fertility drug:

Cd3-CD7 - ovamit 50 mg 3xday (5 days)
CD7-CD12 - decilone (steroid) 1/2 tab (2mg) 1xday (6 days)
CD9-CD28 - premarin 0.625 mcg 2xday (20 days)
CD10 - 1 shot of puregon
CD12 - 1 shot of puregon
CD14 - scheduled TVS

wala pa kami schedule for the IUI. hoping and praying for the best sa first ever na IUI namin. iba pala ang kaba kapag naglevel up na yun approach sa infertility.

Sis para saan ang steroid?

sis meggie_b, yun steroid is for the follicles din, pantulong daw kay ovamit para lumaki pa si follies and makapag-produce ng good egg cell. tinaasan na nga dosage ko diyan dati 1/4 lang ngayon 1/2 tab na kasi tamad si follies ko.

Ako I used dexamethasone dati. Sabi ng endo ko it'll help your body absorb the medicines so you'll produce better follies.
