my paycheck before was 12k/month, hindi pa kasama ang mga deductions jan tapos ang byahe ko everyday is Libis - Taguig. yes, time and money consuming talaga.

every time that ill receive my paycheck, savings ang nasa top list ko then the list goes on pinaka importante muna. tska as much as possible, ayaw ko humingi ng pabor sa magulang. hindi dahil sa pride, just teaching myself how to be independent. hate na hate ko din ang mangutang kaya siguro todo ipon ako.

i have 2 credit cards, one for gasoline (may rebate kasi at free ang 1st sup for life) at yung isa for goods, etc. pero ang nagagamit ko madalas yung for gasoline. as much as possible, kung dine, groceries, etc ay cash. and i always pay my bills before their due para hindi kumita sakin ang CC company for interest :)

sa totoo lang, i dont have "budget list" thing. its all in the mind. LOL. ang focus ko, maabot ang certain amount for savings for specific period.

hindi ko naman tinitipid sarili ko. pero hindi naman kasi kelangan gumastos para maging masaya lalo na sa travel :) backpacking all the way! tska gamitin lahat ng resources.

hmm.. yun lang muna.

Limit eating out....

Agree.
With VAT, tapos ang mahal ng china-charge nila sa drinks, hindi talaga mura ang eating out. Nakakataba pa.

ang pinaka malaking tipid tip talaga is sa palengke mamili ng lahat ng gulay, meat, isda, spices, etc.. sadly, we just discovered this ( I know right ;D), dahil puro kami supermarket since I can remember. So we moved into a condo recently and malapit lang sya sa wet market at nadadaanan namin, so why not, gorah kami. Ayun, jusmio, ang mumura grabeh lang. Napapakamot talaga ako at nasasabunutan ang hair ko sa face palm hahaha sa panghihinayang, imagine all these years!hay..pero at least ngayon, okay na. I think we saved a thousand pesos per. grabe. sayang din. buti na lang.

Actually gulay, fruits and fish I must agree na mas mura talaga sa wet market.

Then Robinson's and SM mahal din. Pinaka mura is Puregold, pero be wary din at may ilan items hindi sya lagi mas mura, pero kung i-sum up mo, most items mas mura sa Puregold.

^^I agree with you sis. Sa supermarket, mahal nga, pero at least, you get what you pay for --- fresh and tama sa timbang.

^^that's just for my opinion mga sis, syempre it will always be based on your own personal experience kung san kayo bibili. And ako personally, meat products lang talaga binibili namin sa supermarket kasi nga, mas ok sa akin dun dahil sa market namin dito sa province, kulang kulang ang timbangan nila and talaga namang hindi ok ang sanitation at paligid.

Another tipid tip, paghandaan na ang Christmas 2014. What I mean is magtabi ng ng paunti unti from your salary or income para sa darating na pasko. Gaano man kaliit yang maipon mo, come December, malaking bagay pa rin yon. :)

Sa mga commuters, here's my tip: Tignan yung alternative routes to your office, and tignan din kung san mas makakamura ng pamasehe kahit mga 8 pesos lang na jeep. Like ako, I work in Makati and I can take the LRT or MRT. Pag nag LRT ako, ang pamasahe ko from my house is 30 pesos. Imaging the 23 pesos big difference everyday, papunta pa lang yan. So I take the LRT, gigisign lang talaga ako ng maaga which is also needed from me para di hassle. Imagine the savings! That's around 500 pesos in a month and around 6,000 in a year. :) Small things make a big difference talaga.

talk to friends who are into saving and investing. :)

Yes, I will start investing in FAMI next month. I've been reading a lot of threads to motivate myself when it comes to investing.  ;D

@sis chubs, i think you need to find other ways to produce money and your partner need to work as well...kahit di full time kahit small time. Kahit loading business open ninyo ni partner mo. Para kahit konti may kita. Hirap ng buhay ngayon..you also need to save para sa baby ninyo..in years time mag aaral na yan.. else find a new job na may bettee salary..

Aww!  :( Your hubby should look for a job to help you financially sis. It'll be hard on your part to be the only one supporting you and your family.

Good question sis. I think it will help you a lot if you work hand in hand.  :)

I guess kahit hindi mag abroad yung isa, basta pareho kayong may work sis, makaka afford din kayong maghire ng yaya kay baby, mas lalaki ang budget nyo kesa yung isa nasa bahay lang.
