avoid, if not minimize, pork/beef intake
avoid, if not minimize rice

chocolates and junkfood, di ko talaga kaya iwasan. I try to eat them only once a month kung kaya. if not twice.

im on a 1200 calorie diet. january 14 when i decided its time to lose weight. nag slimming coffee ko nung umpisa, consumed 1 box thats for 15 days and i instantly lost 10 lbs.

after nun purely diet and exercise na.

i eat anything as long as di lalagpas ang consumption ko sa 1500 calories at di bababa sa 1200. i eat most during breakfast.

i was 170 lbs last january 14, 160 lbs january 29, today im 135 lbs, just 5lbs away from my prepregnancy weight. im 5'6 and mabigat talaga buto ko. hehe.

so far i already lost 11 inches off my waist.

i learned not to indulge but i can taste anything, i learned to eat for fuel and not for fun. i learned that we gain weight because we eat so much more than what we need, but our body doesnt need a lot. kaya nga siguro glutony is a sin. hehe.

and since i dont avoid a specific food group, sabi nila blooming ang weight loss ko, hindi haggard tignan.

Help! I really want to lose that annoying excess tummy fat I have. Hindi naman ako obese. 120pounds ako, medium built, 5'2, and 20 yo. Gusto ko ma flatten tummy ko or lose an inch or two sa waistline. I'm running (treadmill) every other day using C25K Program. Diet wise, di ko alam gagawin. Help?

A slightly-strict Paleo diet. Paleo diet is following how our old caveman ancestors would eat. Apparently, the people from before the agricultural revolution have longer lifespan and the illnesses we have today (such as cancer, acne, etc) were nonexistent before. You can look it up for yourself.  I follow it not for weight loss, but to address my hormonal-related issues:)

Breakfast: hot tea or coffee na walang sugar, kung may rice, konting rice at egg/tuna.. Or bread

Konting fruits as snacks

Lunch: 1/4 cup of rice at yung ulam as much as possible hindi fried.

Dinner, no rice, ulam lang.. O kaya yogurt, o kaya fruits. Plus hot tea

Cheat day: diet soda

Breakfast 7am: Coffee with Skim Milk and Stevia, 1 slice of Whole Wheat Bread with konting low fat butter. Soft Boiled Egg sprinkled with mixed herbs. Minsan 2 Soft Boiled Eggs pero walang bread. We love eggs. 2 trays kami ata lagi every grocery.

AM Snack 10am: Yogurt and a handful of trail mix.

Lunch 12nn: Vegetables and Meat. tapos green tea or coffee ulit.

PM Snack 3pm: Fruits and cheese. My favorites are apples (lalo na apple dices saka cheese!), orange, strawberry and my latest discovery, cucumber! vegetable to pero parang na-amaze ako na masarap sya. feeling ko lasang watermelom. traumatized kasi ako sa cucumber dati dahil nilalagyan ng lola ko ng suka. kadiri. pero now that i ate it on its own, masarap pala.

530pm to 630pm: workout time

Dinner 7pm: Meat and vegetables, usually soupy dishes like tinola, nilaga. then minsan 1 small bite of chocolate or cheesecake tapos green tea.

basta my rule to myself is to make sure that i really take the time to sit and eat no matter how busy i am. mas nakakabawas sa mindless eating ang may oras kumain, otherwise kain lang ako ng kain pero never having the satisfaction of being full.

weekends ang cheat meal! usually sunday lunch ang cheat meal kasi after mass namin ni hubby or saturday morning. i cant resist tuyosilog!

Yes effective talaga yung all bread.

half loaf pack ng gardenia Double Delights Choco Ripple-Mocha Marble yan buong araw kinakain ko though I know matamis sya sabayan niyo ng tubig and yogurt. Minsan yakult. Di kayo magugutom nyan kasi myat mya niyo kinakain yung bread.

skip breakfast
10:30 black coffee
3:00 lunch: vegetables with pork or chicken
7:30 - 11:00 - any food, preferably not processed tsaka iwas rice kung pwede

I'm having my food delivered on one of those 1200-calorie per day plans, for the whole month of September.  After September, I'll cook my own food na.

Even if weekends are cheat days, I don't drink soda pa rin.  I only drink water, no caffeine tea and fresh fruit juices now.  I want to eliminate coffee, pero hindi talaga kaya.  So I limit it to thrice a week, tapos black or with splenda lang.

Oh, and I don't eat junk food and sweets na rin.  I just satisfy my sweet cravings by eating an apple or an orange.

im currently on calorie counting for weight maintenance 1200 calories per day

i have 6 exchange of rice/bread, 4 exchanges of meat, 3 exchanges of vegetables ,3 exchanges of fruits, 1 exchange of milk and 5 exchanges of fat.

no sweets, canned, and chips

i'm actually having difficulty with proportions and type of food but I think I can master it in a month when I go back to nutritionist/dietitian for re-evaluation. most of the time i think im eating less than the required calories.

i take green tea and lots of water din
