^SIS, if you are not yet familiar with these -- buy from ACCESSORY LAB at Power Plant Rockwell.
Although, I haven't been buying from there lately -- Rodina the shop partner - owner of the crystals has doubled her prices.   Some of her items are unreasonably priced.
Atong in  Binondo sells at prices approx 30percent less.

You do not need big blocks --  big or small, whatever the quality -- same same energy yan. Must be authentic & you gotta condition your crystal/s.
Sis, get hold of that Crystal Bible Vol.1 book of Judy Hall.

You can go to Acc Lab, familiarize yourself with the crystals you want --  tignan mo lahat ng specimen of say the black tourmaline, & do not be shy to ask the girls why the difference in prices.  That way, pag tapat mo kay  Atong -- you will get a good price coz you know what to look for & what the prices are approximately.

You must educate yourself 1st.  Ang dami na kasi selling fakes.
I see a lot of quartz sold as citrine, amethyst, rose quartz, etc.
Madami "reconstituted" --  mga molded beads from colored bonded particles .
Like a lot of "bronzites" I see around in Manila now.

Sis, I started by concentrating on 1 or 2 crystals at a time. Absorbed as much as I could, looked & touched.  Tapos, buy. :).  Then, onto the next crystal.

Be careful with black tourmaline -- the fakers sell hardened charcoal as black tourmaline.
Or those reconstituted colored ones.  Haynako.

When you buy Selenite --  check that it looks like there is water trapped inside -- hindi basta white porous -- baka gypsum lang or tawas. Ngek.  The entire block will not have "water trapped inside", but there must be such a portion.  It is good for lightening up places & people -- para hindi "mabigat" a place.

Easy to get educated on citrine. Dami specimens to learn from. :)

Good luck, Sis.

Hi Aquacharly,

Where is Atong's store located? First timer lang sa crystals. I bought a small aquamarine tumbled stone sa A.Lab, 2 days ago.Pero parang nag gray na yung other side nya. Why is that?

Binondo. If you backread,  the others' posts direct you to his store.

Go back to ACCLAB & ask them why.  Urge the girls to ask Rodina (owner) why.  Pls get back here & share with us the feedback (we are all curious too).

Bought a clear quartz crystal and amethyst  pendant yesterday.  Also got an amethyst ring and amethyst 'energy earrings'.  Went through the process of cleansing and programming them yesterday and doing a quick cleanse again this morning.

^^malamang sis may umubos na dun sa tinda ng matanda. Good buy yun ah. :)

I went looking for black tourmaline sa shop na binibilhan ng officemates ko. Kaso nagtataka ako kasi beads e.. Di kaya mabasag agad?

Tapos they have citrine na may mga parts na milky yellow and may gold threads sa loob. Ayun medyo duda ako.

Last night bought tourmalinated quartz earrings and a black tourmaline pendant with a herkimer diamond.  Smudged both with white sage.

@aquacharly

I forgot what kind of crystal sila and yung iba parang napaka perfect nila to be real. Most of the crystal I have naka set sa gold and white gold does it mean na totoo yung crystal?

My tingshas came in, also using that for cleansing.  Full moon tomorrow so will leave crystals outside overnight.
It would be nice to see some pics of others crystals.  Read about some ways to tell if crystals are not authentic but I'm not an expert.   Authentic amethyst have color zoning are cool to touch.

If  these are heirloom/antique/vintage jewelry -- most surely, yes authentic crystals.  Gemstones like sapphires, rubies, jade & emeralds are standard jewelry. Topaz is the cheapest, and often used too.   The high grade ones look like  yellow diamonds. :).  There are quite a lot of moonstones, peridot, onyx, etc etc set in gold nowadays.  BUT technology has also advanced -- there are a lot of lab-created crystals/"gemstones". In Europe, they sell a lot of glass "gemstones" set well. So there.

If you are buying pricey jewelries: be sure you buy from a reputable jeweler, and get a receipt with a detailed description.  Some jewelers even attach a photo with detailed description  to the OR.

If you are buying from Greenhills: ah, buyers beware dyan.

Good PM mga sis!  :D

Honestly dati hindi ko pinapansin ang mga stones and crystals but based sa pag back read ko naging super interested talaga me at hopefully ay makapunta kami ky Atong pag uwi ko by March at gusto ko ding bilhan si hubby, 2 daughters ko at mother ko.

I asked my hubby to buy for me a black tourmaline kung meron sa Uganda at parang dami daw sya nakita last time pagpunta nya.

I will take a picture later at I will share it here.

I am starting out my crystal collection. Black tourmaline, tigers eye, citrine and rose quartz. I will show you later, I got them from my HS friend who is a Reiki practitioner. He is not a salesman but I told him of my troubles and he said na bagay ata sakin mag crystals for healing.

Sis eto yong pics ng amethyst cathedral dito sa office. Yong 2 hindi ako sure kung ano sya. Medyo blurred yong iba because of the glass reflection.

Yung isa, looks like an agate geode, not sure if it's a blue lace one or something... But the big amethyst one looks beautiful :D
