Thanks sir, kasama na po ba sa papadala ko yung deposit slip ng payment ko for initial deposit ? Yung nakausap ko kasi sa philequity need talaga mag personal appearance hassle po kasi wala kong time dahil morning shift ako.

Hello mga sis May nakapag-invest na ba sa inyo sa Sunlife, yun Philippine Equity Fund nila? How was it? Please share your thoughts/experiences. Thanks!

^doing good naman ang MF ng sunlife especially the Equity fund. I am a mutual fund representative of Sunlife at happy naman ang mga clients ko sa mga investments nila. Hindi nga lang kasing ganda sa ngayon ng facility ni ALFM at PAMI pero we'll get there. They are already working on an online facility na mas mpapadali ang buhay ni client at namin agents hehe.

^sorry sis PhilEquity pala yung sinasabi ko. nalilito ako sa philequity at PAMI kala ko parehas... hehe....

right now, may online facility din si sunlife na pwede mong -ma-view ang shares at fund value mo. pero ang plan nila pati yung mga additional investments pwede na din gawin online. sana nga magawa na hehe.

Additional question pala mga sis, are you familiar with BPI Passbook savings with Mutual Funds? My boyfriend recently opened a Passbook savings account and he was advised to invest his initial deposit (10K) sa Mutual funds. Though he chose the conservative one muna, would you know kung anong trend dito? Does this mean, parang naginvest si boyfie sa stocks ni BPI? Please enlighten me. Thanks!

^---no need, just follow their instruction on their website.  Hayaan mong Metrobank ang mag-asikaso ng lahat.  Just talk to Metrobank's personel, better yet, to their manager.

@Awesomecakes: Haven't heard of that either. Maybe you mean the Regular Subscription Program, where a designated amount of money from your savings account is transferred to a chosen mutual fund account and then invested? BDO also has it, I think they call it EIP (Easy Investment Plan).

Yes, your BF has invested indeed.  Instead of letting the 10K sit on his SA, the banker opted to have him invest it on MF or UITF.  Depending on the vehicle he choose.

That's a very knowledgeable banker he has.  Most tellers doesn't even know that they have this investment vehicles.  Usually mga bank managers ang nakaka-alam.

What I'm interested to know is how much was left to his SA.  5k ba ang maintaining balance ng BPI Family Bank for their passbook type SA?
