hindi po ba hassle ang pag top up and pag redeem ng shares via philequity? ano po ang process nila? kelangan parin ba ng agent's intervention?

check mo yung website nila sis. philequity.net. masasagot yang very standard question na yan. pero i imagine hindi naman tayo mahihirapan magredeem considering philequity's rep.

chineck ko pala, parang walang balanced fund ang philequity. yung pse index at philequity fund, puro equity funds. :-( i guess i'll have to find a good balanced mf elsewhere. any suggestions beside PAMI, FAMI, and Sunlife? ok ba ang ALFM?

If we are expecting our money to grow in millions in mutual fund, isnt it appropriate to get a "big" face amount of insurance just to cover the estate tax it would incur in redeeming the money?

^ hi sis, I have ALFM Growth Fund (Balanced). For me ok naman yun returns almost 13-15% na last week nun hindi pa nagdrop yun price with holding period of just 6 months.

I want everything to be done online.

Im torn between PAMI and philequity.

thanks sis goldengoose! nalakihan din kasi ako sa sales load ng PAMI. i think i'll go with philequity. i checked their site. 1% lang sales load nila for peso bond fund :) maganda din kasi performance nila.

as for balanced fund, i'll go with ALFM. i have money market sa ALFM. super convenient ang pag top up if you do it via their online platform.

i checked philequity's euity fund. ang laki ng sales load 3.5% O_o okay sana performance nila.

^When I opened my Philequity account, I sent the forms via courier just to be sure. Then everything else, the additional investments and redemptions, were made through email.

I'm still having so much trouble with redeeming my shares from FAMI. They still want the form, which I've already emailed AND faxed, sent via courier, even though it says in their procedures that via fax is enough.

I've also already changed my FAMI account name to my married name many months ago -- they even sent me an SOA using my married name -- but now, of course, their current records still reflect my maiden name. Syempre magkaka-conflict once they deposit the proceeds to my bank account, which is already under my married name. Ewan ko ba sa FAMI, so disorganized.

looks like philequity is the new "fami" in this thread. haha. justly so!

nagwalk in kasi ako sa philequity office sa ortigas. haha talagang dinayo ko! mabilis lang while you wait ang pagprocess ng requirements. ganun din naman sa PAMI in fairness.
