hi sis, YTD po means Year-to-Date. The period beginning January 1st of the current year up until today's date.

I've been trying to look it up pero lahat ng nakikita ko for US numbers lang, the rest naman may charge na. TIA!

^Hassle nga yan kaya what i do is take a pic of the form and the deposit slip using a dslr then email it to my agent tapos siya na bahala. Ask your agent baka she/he can do that for you, too. :)

Sisses, another question, so I spoke with my SUNLIFE agent today, kailangan ko pa din palang i-send ang original documents for subsequent investment sa MF. Is this serious? Sobrang hassle na nun ha!  :o

^Ako naman trying to redeem shares from FAMI. They also require that I fax or send the redemption form via courier. Super hassle sa massel. I asked them talaga why emailing the form is not enough, no reply yet. Ganun din naman yun, I print it here, go to a fax service center, they get it at their office, when they could just print out my email and save time, money, resources, and effort. Ano bang backwards technology and pointless policies yan? Hello, 2013 na.

Buti pala naisipan na din ng FAMI to stop requiring those CORs that they never send complete. Pero they only implemented that like a few days ago.

Meanwhile, all I did was digitally sign Philequity's redemption form, and now it's already in process. Masmalaki na ang kinita ng Philequity ko, so wala nang redeeming factor ang FAMI for me.

How often or how long can someone redeem their shares?  From what I read kase only info on how to get started, medyo di clear how to redeem para masabi na kumita nga pera na nainvest

^^ sis ikaela, partial redemption ba to or lahat ng funds mo kukunin mo na from fami. Buti naman wala ng COR.

I also like to open an account in Philequity as they also one of the top performers for equity fund. Plus customer service is great and nun naginquire ako mukang may online facility sila na makikita mo yun gain/loss mo. Not so sure though.

^^^onlygirl, you can redeem as often as you want. You can redeem whenever you want as well, but fees apply if you take money out earlier than 6 months for FAMI and 1 year for Philequity. The redemption procedures for both FAMI and Philequity are on their websites. Easy to follow.

^^eischied_21, I did a partial redemption this time. Yes, buti nga na 'di na required yung COR. The announcement is still on the first page of FAMI's website if you want to see for yourself.

I highly recommend Philequity, everything you mentioned is true. Except for the online facility, I'm not sure about that either. I track my gains/loss using my own file kasi. Have you tried using monitormyfunds.com?

^ yes sis, i have monitormyfunds pero now bloomberg na ginagamit ko. Way better than monitormyfunds kasi pati yun sa stock pwede ko imonitor sa bloomberg. All you have to do is setup your portfolio or add your mf/uitf sa watchlist.

Wala pa ako masyadong alam sa philequity naginquire lang ako by email how to open an account. Sa philequity ba pano ka nagwiwithdraw ng shares? Kelangan pa ba magsubmit ng original redemption form and submit yun statement of account or pwede na by email lang lahat ng transaction? Ayoko rin kasi yun hassle na may sinusubmit pa as im out of the country.

^Pwede through email lahat sa Philequity. Every single one of my transactions with them is through email. I just downloaded the redemption form, filled it up on Acrobat Reader, digitally signed it, and sent it through email. I also sent in scans of my IDs although they're not needed. Tapos! Got the confirmation this evening. I sent them a message praising their system. Reply nila sa akin, ganun talaga, basta enrolled daw sa email facility nila. :)

i agree. excellent ang customer service and very efficient ang pag-update sa client ng philequity. stable ang company at okay ang performance. planning to open a balanced mf dito. ireredeem ko na yung prulife na balanced mf ko-- in a year's time 7% lang ang kinita. kung nilagak ko yan sa ibang mf companies for sure mas malaking di hamak. not a very good choice. pero at least nakahabol ng kita kahit 7%.

parang pababa na naman ang NAVPS lately. time to redeem if you're thinking of redeeming and invest if you're planning on investing. gogogo
