Kids in high heels yay or nay?

I like kids who wear Ballet shoes, baby shoes BUT NOT HEELS. My niece wore it nung bata pa sya like slippers with heels (turo n rin ng nanay nya) so now she's twelve gosh ang lalaki na ng muscle sa legs.. Di maganda tingnan

I don't think kids should wear shoes in heels especially little kids. They can still be fashionable naman even wearing flats.

ako rin ayoko. yung naghheels at nagmmake up kahit sa wedding pa yan. nagmumukang matanda kasi. kids should always look fresh and innocent. walang borloloy

Okay lang naman mag heels ang kids as long as cute pa rin ang dating ng outfit nya. Ayoko rin yun parang trying-to-be-dalaga-na na style of clothing. Basta age appropriate pa rin tingnan dapat. Saka ayoko rin yun pinagsusuot ang kids ng revealing clothes like mga backless. Kasi baka makasanayan hanggang dalaga na sila di na maganda tingnan.

Oo nga, nun fiesta sa tondo. saw bunch of cute teenies on heels, take note "wedges" talaga literal and meron pang mga 3 to 4 inches high! hindi sya cute for me, too early for their age (maybe because i am not on high heels) pero dapat icheck din ng parents wag lang yun "gusto" ng mga anak kaya ganun. di rin safe kase sa kiddos ang high heels! imo

I hate seeing kids wear revealng clothing and anything age inappropriate, esp heels!! Its bad for their developing muscles. I don't get why some moms would want their daughters dressed like...well you know what!!

thumbs down din ako, i personally don't like it. i have a 6 yr old daughter and may nakita siya sa classmate niya nun christmas party nila, i think barbie ang brand and mga 2 inches yata yun heels, imagine 6yrs old ha. i still don't find it appropriate sa age niya. nagpapabili sa akin when we went sa mall and heels nga ang gusto, sabi ko hindi kasi baka madapa pa siya:)

CHIKKA - I totally agree with you.
Good taste is dressing appropriately for the occasion & according to your age. 
Sure, I let my 8yo use heels -- when playing in the house with  her cousins or friends.

Mister ko allergic sa high heels na shoes and sandals kaya almost 2 yrs ago may nagbigay sa anak namin sinabihan ako na ibigay sa iba.

Pero last year bumili ako ng rapunzel and arielle sandals sa disneystore may kaunting height ang heels oks na lang lalo sa loob lang ng bahay kapag suot nya princess dress nya.

Ibang kids kasi sinusuot shoes ng mommies nila e, ako wala ni isang de-takong na sapatos, kaya I keep an open mind na lang pag nakakakita ako ng kids in high heels sa mall. Wag lang ako babanatan na pati damit e kakikay rin

imo, its like training your own kids to be future kikays lalo na with matching hoochie-mama clothes.

i'd say let kids be kids. let them enjoy their innocence and childhood. di na maibabalik yan. wag madaliin yung paglaki/pagtanda.... kasi pag tumanda na, nagmumurang kamatis naman. hehe.

Nay din for me. But my 5 yr old girl really likes it and yun yung pinapabili niya when we were looking for a sandals for a party. Good thing when she tried it she realized that hindi pa niya kayang i balance sarili niya so now she stopped asking me to buy one.  Problem solved!

Kami pina-stop namin panonood nya ng snow white nun 4yo daughter namin kasi dito nya natutunan ang high heels tapos kay cinderella rin. Nafocus yun attention nya sa shoes at prince charming kaya iniwas ko sa mga disney princesses na movies. Kahit iprocess ko pa yun pinapanood nya e tumatatak pa rin kasi colorful at happy ending.


Kj na ako pero mga "inosenteng" palabas na ganito pangit values na napupulot.

Nitong nag-6yo mas nakakaintindi na sya ng limitations at napapaliwanagan ko na sya na cartoons lang yun at d dapat gayahin na naka-make up at ang suot na sapatos mataas (at sumasama sa prince charming kakakilala pa lang!).

^sobrang tawa rin isang GT mom nun nag-usap kami about snow white kasi yun theme ng party ng anak nya 2 yrs ago. Pero nagsimula fascination ng daughter ko sa high heels dahil kay SW.

Binili ng hipag ko ang anak ko na 5yrs old ng wedge di naman masyado mataas pero super favorite ng anak ko, hindi na niya tuloy gusto suotin ang ballet flats na binili ko for her. Ayoko niyang suot un pero safe naman kasi wedge at comfortable sa paa.

Not for my child. Children need proper shoes for good muscle and bone development. But... to each his own. Children wearing heels is not something I feel strongly about. At least not anymore. Some parents expose their children to far crazier things.

I'm very kikay with my daughter but I don't want her wear heels at a young age. This may affect her posture and may cause accidents pa if she runs around in them.

My daughter just turned 7. Although she has her arte and kikay moments, I am relieved that she hates heels. Kasi hirap daw tumakbo pag may takong. Hehe.
