Sis, since DIY lang kami, pwede mo ba mabigyan kami idea how much ang expenses pa from kalibo airport going to boracay mismo? van, jetty port etc...

ang nakakainis lang pag pabalik eh magbabayad ka pa ng 100php para sa terminal fee sa jetty port eh dadaan ka lang naman.. Sa kalibo airport is only 40php and we stayed there longer. 

^sis, (if i may) vans are 175php per person, chartered van (kuya jerry's rate) is 1500php; yung mga fees naman like terminal and gov't is a total of 175php. trykes are 30php per person. multicabs are 250php. (if your going there by group or marami kayo, i suggest na you choose multicab na lang).

IMO, hindi naman ganun kahassle ang pagDIY eh.. you just have to know the standard fare/fees para hindi maloko. lalo na sa mga activities, kc grabe talaga sila magrate lalo kapag sa mga foreigner. As in OA talaga.

^I feel you sis. Nakakaasar ang terminal fee sa jetty port. Yun nga din ang comment ng barkada ko, dumaan lang kami eh 100 na agad agad..hehe

^^^Sis P250 binayaran namin sa van going to boracay. Kasama na ang boat dun. P175 naman pabalik pero wala pa boat fee. Better nga if madami kay kuya Jerry na lang.

yun ang gusto ko talaga malaman yung exact fare kasi mahirap kung sasamantalahin ka kasi di mo kabisado yung standard rates.  thanks for the help!

^ Kung hindi naman kasali ang airplane sa ban, carry na ang check-in. we brought several bottles of wine dati sa boracay. binalot lang ng mga damit para di mabasag.

just been in Boracay last April 22-25.. we avail the southwest tours door to door package.. ok naman.. hassle free.. since late na kami dumating sa boracay we stayed sa Island Nook for 1st night.. the hotel is near sa d'mall.. clean accomodation yun nga lang very basic ng room nila.. the 2nd & 3rd night we transferred sa Calypso Diver Resort.. although malapit nah siya sa station 3 we enjoyed the place naman.. for a mid range priced hotel ok nah siya.. beachfront with pool pa we only paid around 3500/night with breakfast.. i noticed din sa station 3 di masyadong  malumot and less crowd din..

I do not recommend the island tour.. well siguro di ko masyadong naenjoy since i've tried other places nah like Palawan, Bohol, Samal Island etc... for me kasi di masyadong maganda ang marine life (siguro i kept comparing sa Coron & Bohol kaya ganun)... maalon pa ang tubig.. hehe.. pero siguro for first timer ok na din..

We tried helmet diving, ok lang for me.. Tried intro scuba na kasi before sa Davao so I think helmet diving is so-so lang..

ATV is real fun.. kaso medyo maikli lang ang trail.. haha!

I was not really keen to go to Boracay since i prefer less crowded places.. pero I have to admit naenjoy ko yung beach ng sobra.. Masasabi kong world class talaga yung beach ng Boracay.. super fine ng sand and clear ng water.. I've been to Phuket, Bali, Vietnam etc pero wala silang sinabi lahat sa beach ng Boracay..

I really enjoyed our stay in Boracay.. the downside nakakaubos ng pera!!! hahaha.. mahal ang food grabe.. hahahaha!!! food galore kasi kami ni hubby.. pero enjoy naman kasi ang dami mo talagang choices..

^  sis, june dn kami ni hubby.  june 24 to 26 nga lang.  anniversary month kasi namin.  sakto din kasi sa tiger airways na promo.

We are going June 19-23 naman. This time with our baby, he will be 6mos then. First plane ride and first  swimming/beach experience ni baby. . I chose boracay regency for our accommodation because of their pool.

Boracay has been our annual destination ni hubby.  And it still excites me everytime!

Kainis talaga. Anong gagawin namin dun? magtititigan??

Pwede ba mag check in baggage ng mga hard drinks nalang? hehhe..


To our valued guest/s who will be staying with us on the Election Period. The Boracay Foundation updated us that:

"The Liquor Ban will be in force effective May 9, 2013 (Thursday) to May 13, 2013 (Monday, Election Day)"

Bars and stores are still open though to cater foreign tourists of liquors/alcoholic drinks. This is based on the memorandum sent to us by the Boracay Foundation Inc. Personally, I also hope they give us exemptions. But until further notice, it is as it is.

WHAT THE HELL?! May 11-13 ako. I'm already excited for the night life tapos ganyan??? But for foreigners, pwede ang alcohol? Makapagpractice nga ng English with accent para mapagkamalang foreigner... HAY.

@janzphnx, diba parang hindi kumpleto ang taon mo pag hindi ka nakapag-bora. I got pregnant last year april, pero go pa rin-- its the only trip i agreed with hubby na air travel.
for the past 3yrs, it's around June talaga. Not only it is low season/cheaper hehe, less people but also love the breeze. Since habagat na, masarap ang hangin. Before that naman it's always New Years in boracay. Nothing beats the fireworks in bora

hehe! namamahalan pa ako sa na-quote sa kin. pero mura pa rin pala yon since long stay kami may 25% discount. kino-compare ko rin rates nila sa myboracayguide, mas mura don kesa sa mismong website

^sis, true yan! Mas mura nga dun sa isang website. Hindi Lang ako comfortable so I booked na directly. Mahirap na magka-prob may kasama kami baby.

I remember staying once sa garden suite ng boracay beach resort beside crystal sand parang 5k Lang per night low season rate nila.
