Nagapply na ako last year sa COL but haven't funded it yet.

What's the minimum amount you can transfer from your bank account to COL?

From what I remember when I started ,it is P5,000. I know the online can be open ,it is that of course, you cannot buy stocks if unfunded.Try to find details on their website.

Sis you need to fund it para mabigyan ka nila ng password, minimum initial funding is 5k, ito yung minimum requirement ng COL. After that you can transfer as much/low as you can from your bank account but remember if below 500 lang itransfer mo you'll be the one to shoulder the transfer fee otherwise si COL na ang magbayad. So dapat greater than 500 itransfer mo para libre.  ;)

Happy investing!!!

Hi mga sis. I recently joined TRC because i want someone to guide me in buying/selling stocks. Here's my link if you're interested to join rin. Thanks.

^sis if kakastart mo lang sa stock market good option yung sasali ka sa TRC but yung recommendation ng TRC is almost similar to COL's recommendation in their Coling the Shot report.

If you can spare 497 a month then you subscribe, di lang about Stock Market makukuha mo sa TRC, mas marami pang blessings.

Happy investing!!!

In the end, I wasn't able to justify to myself shelling off the 497/month subscription fee. You'll just have to peel your eyes.

Will it work with the rest of my wardrobe?

Remember girls, mabusisi tayo kapag nagsshopping.  We would never want our husbands to shop for us.  Same thing with stock picking and investing.

 ;) ;D

BTW, just wanna ask about Technical Guide ng COL. Hindi ba ito gumagana during trade-off hours? kasi nagtataka lang ako bakit when i accessed it now, almost "sell" lahat ang nakalagay sa lahat ng stocks with initiated rating na 2008. Anyare? naguluhan ako dun...  :P

^---sis, I usually access the Technical Guide from the Latest Research panel at Home page.

share ko lang strategy ko, I'm not an expert at trading... investor kasi ako

i believe Equity Fund of FAMI is a really good fund, so what I did was download their published report and look into what stocks that fund is holding

i checked my port and bought the same stocks their holding, but not all.  only those winning and i know something about.  magka-iba rin ang allocation kasi depende naman yan sa funds...

i think it's working fine since I'm now up 14%... almost the same as PSEi

mga sis for a beginner ano ang mas ok COL or CITISEC?

i'll start with 5k muna tatakot ako kasi baka hindi ko pa gamay e...

mga sis pa clarify naman...based sa pagkaka intindi ko...you'll open an account with col or citisec for 5k

then you will pick what stock you'll buy right??

lets say that i bought PG stocks that cost 4k so i still have 1k that i can use to buy right?

here's the thing? what if binenta ko iyong binili ko na 4k na stocks? so magkakaroon uli ako ng 5k na balance na pwede ko ipambili ng stocks uli?

COL is shortcut for Citisec Online, so isa lang po sila.

Yes better to start small paunti-unti lang until you'll be familiar with COL's site and stock market.

Yes, yes, yes and yes ;D but be reminded that there is a board lot rule and 1K might not be enough to buy the stock na napupusuan mo and merong fees if you buy and sell stocks, so if you sell too soon baka malugi ka lang sa fees. Nevertheless all the proceeds from the sales of stocks can be reinvested as you wish.

I would suggest you study more about stock investing through books and videos. Maybe you can start with this video.

If you have less than 100K, you should invest long term

^^^thanks sis jmeangeL for the infos. Though i've noticed na ni-correct na rin ng COL ang site nila so the Technical Guide which can be directly accessed under Research ( Technicals ) panel is similar na to the pdf in Home panel.  :)
