Global policy ng Medela na di pwede magpa-service if hindi sa authorized resellers ng same country binili. Was supposed to buy before sa US, buti nabanggit ng SA na me ganung policy.

Mga sis normal ba sa spectra dew 300 uminit agad after 10-15 minutes session?  Bought it as second hand. 3 months used lang nung seller.

Yung spectra 9+ ko naman bigla nalang di nag on. Been using it for one month palang, ang sabi ng technician na drain na daw yung battery dapat daw kasi di ineempty yung charge. E kapag naman nagbi blink na chinacharge ko na. Ayun bayad tuloy ako ng replacement kesyo di daw covered ng warranty yun. Mabuti nalang sulit bili ko sa kanya, nakakabuild ako ng stash kahit papano.

Hi mommies, i'm a sahm naman pero gusto ko din sana mag-pump para I have stash if ever na kelangan ko iwan si baby. Currently i have avent manual pero in one session both breast na 2-3oz lang output ko. Feeling ko dahil sa manual lang gamit ko kaya i'm planning to buy electric pump kahit single lang, any suggestion mga sis yung di naman sobrang mahal? Ano ba okay na cheaper brands? Tia!

@baby_peanut babymama ba yan sis? teka bakit hindi covered yung ganon?? naku kapag sa 9+ ko nangyari yun hindi pwedeng hindi covered. lalo na if 1mo lang nagamit. kung wala naman negligence sa part mo :/

isa yan sa reasons kaya worth it bumili ng medela locally. mahal pero ang customer service daw nila talaga e one of a kind. 2 years warranty and kapag nagkaprob sa unit sometimes they replace it with an entirely new unit talaga kahit 1yr old na yung pump.

^yes sis dun nga. for now gamit ko yung service unit nila naisip ko nga madalas mangyari yung ganun sa kanila kasi may nakaready nang service unit but when i asked their staff first time lang daw nangyari yun  1k ang babayaran ko for battery replacement, hubby was raged nung sinabi ko sa kanya kasi bakit daw may bayad i explained it to him pero hindi siya satisfied. as per their staff, ang factory defects daw ay yung pag first time hindi na gumana. tapos i asked him kung paano na warranty kung nagagamit ko naman? hindi naman niya ako nasagot nang ayos hehe. so parang he tells me na user negligence lang ang maeencounter nung unit once it works properly so sure na may bayad. ang gulo. so parang wala na din yung warranty niya. gusto ko sana kausapin yung may ari.

pansin ko din sa spectra bottles ko ngayon, maluwag na yung screw (saraduhan) dun sa takip o kaya yung sa mismong flange. as in hindi na siya mahigpitan kaya yung gamit ko tuloy is yung avent bottles ko when pumping. siguro dahil yun sa pagsterilize ko everyday.

^ meant naman talaga sis for the bottles to be sterilized. ang sakit sa ulo naman ng pump mo. i think you have to push them na walang negligence sa part mo sis. ako, magrereklamo talaga ako dun. ayaw ko magbayad for something na dapat may warranty! factory defect kapag first time hindi gumana? e how about kung faulty talaga battery or the unit itself e hindi maganda pagkakagawa? tsk tsk. syempre ayaw nila gumastos dun kaya sinasabi fault mo. pero don't accept it sis, hindi okay yan.

loaner units are available naman talaga. kahit sa medela. they understand kasi na there are moms who are relying so much sa pumps nila na without it, walang dededehin si baby. parang ako. i need it everyday for emergency purposes.

1 month old pump is new parin. dapat nga hindi masira yan e. mahal mahal na nga ng benta nila (4k lang sa korea yan, may tubo pa seller non, lol).

well if ganyan sila, i don't think they'll ever be able to surpass yung CS ng medela. mura nga spectra pero i guess you get what you pay for. tsk tsk. sad. ahah. hindi ko alam bakit ako sobrang apektado dito hahahah. kasi naman sis, ang unfair talaga nila. :/

Naku Sis kung saken nangyare yan malamang magagalit ako, ang lagay kasi nung nangyare sayo sis parang 7days lang yung warranty ng  Breastpump, sa price sis na binayaran mo at sa stress na dinudulot nila, either ireplace nila yung unit mo or ibalik nila ng buo yung binayad mo. Na-issuehan ka ba nila ng OR nung nabili mo yung breastpump mo?

Before I want to get my breastpump from Babymama dahil sa affordability but now I will definitely get it from Medela, the stress and inconvenience that they are putting you right now is not worth ng ilang thousands na matitipid mo, to think na sobrang ganda ang after sales support ng Medela w/ 2 years warranty, free cleaning of unit every 2 months, free seminars and discounted accessories on your breastpump

^nakakastress diba mga sis haha kaso ayoko naman magpaapekto at baka maapektuhan ang milk supply ko, going 4th month na ko sa bf journey ko at sana mareach ko yung goal ko na 2 years and beyond.

hindi pa ko nakakapunta sa store nila, conflict kasi sa schedule at nakakatamad dahil dun sa 1k haha.

mejo nawalan tuloy ako ng gana sa spectra at gusto ko magswitch sa medela. kaso parang sayang naman yung bili ko kamahal mahal.  pati yung mga bote ng spectra hindi ko na magamit. oh my.

File a formal complaint with the owner, from what im seeing her FB  and IG account are both active on posting good review w/ her product. Its not fair naman kung hindi mo ma-vevent out ang complaint.  if they will still charge you 1k for teh repair of your pump ask for a refund na lang

@baby_peanut, magpost ka sis sa FB nila if you can't get proper attention sa mga staff nila. I saw a review sa babymama website, negative sya and i think nagcomment si owner talaga. they replaced the entire unit with a different model kasi every month nasisira yung valve nung kanya. eto nga hindi na replaceable na part and i believe owners fault na to pero nagawa nila ireplace.

papalitan mo sis. sobrang unfair yan sayo. if that happens to me magrereklamo ako ng husto at hindi titigil until i get a refund kung ayaw nila i-repair. kanila na item nila.

@clariego, get it from medela sis lalo na if you have the budget. i think their breastfeeding advocacy talaga is good. they sponsor milk drives din and helps in breastmilk donation campaign ng PGH. mahal nga sa kanila but look at the cost of everything they are doing. saka ang medela, years and years ang tinatagal ng pumps nila. spectra is cheaper nga pero hindi pa sila ganun ka established. medela is more than just selling their products. i was given medela manual pump and ang dami nga kasamang info about breastfeeding, not just the product itself.

i got a 1 page manual sa spectra ko, lol. saka wala masyado advocacy si spectra. pati CS nila barok. :/ i went there and i got a sense na benta benta only sila. pati nga flange size ko sabi 'tama' daw pero when i look at the guides, oversized pala. does the job naman so hindi na ako bumalik para papalitan. i used it kasi a month after a bought it. sabi tutulungan daw ako sa correct flange fit.

^i sent them an email na thru their website hope for a positive feedback.

Update: After exchanging emails to Mi Ann, she will replace the battery for free na. Problema ko nalang yung Spectra bottles, try to tighten pa daw and if ganun pa din bring to their office and they will replace it for free din.

Yun nga ok sa Medela, maayos ang customer service. And the owners are actual Medela users so they can also share or give tips from their personal experience. And madami other activities and seminars na pwde salihan - merong free, meron ding discounted fee for pump customers.

na alarm ako. huhu was planning on buying a 9+ pa naman kay babymama  pero in 2 weeks pa kasi hindi pa established supply ko plus wala pang time. super unlilatch kay baby. ang mahal kasi ng medela huhu and I need a portable breastpump perfect na sana yung 9+ eh. ngayon I'm having second thoughts.

at least pinalitan ni babymama yung battery sis.

aside from that issue any other issues encountered with your 9+ baby_peanut?

@baby_peanut buti naman sis. dapat lang naman kasi nila palitan talaga no. sino nakausap mo before? yung mga staff lang?

pano malilinis yung hard to reach places ng pump? di abot ng brush. even tela di makapasok eh may namumuo nang milk. help!

For a 4K price difference between the medela maxi swing and spectre 9+ go for Medela. At first I was thinking of getting the M1 but found out that it's not meant for heavy duty pumping (in excess of 5/6 pumps a day). I got the maxi swing and so far it's doing well. I exclusively pump, up to 9 times a day for the past 5 months. Have had my pumped cleaned easily as well. I also felt like the Medela was more straightforward, compared to Spectre with so many more parts!

Anyone usinb ameda purely yours dual electric pump? My friend will give this to me as a gift kasi..
