^ i don't have a back-up pump... kasi once or twice (max 3x paminsan-minsan) lang naman kasi ako nagpa-pump.. i want to learn nga how to hand-express para in case walang pump, or masira ang pump e me alternative ako..

I have a medela double electric and a medela manual pump. The manual one was given to me lang. I use the manual when im at my parents'. Pero lately i dont pump na since baby is taking solids already and hates the bottle.

@bagaholic_chewy very convenient ang hand expression sis. i was able to get 3oz in 10minutes. hirap pa ako nun kasi nagmamadali ako mag hand express sa clinic sa office. was a little dizzy kasi mataas bp ko nun but engorged na talaga so i had to express.

I've tried hand expression but it takes me a long time I exclusively pump with 8-9 sessions a day so I'm a little worried of my pump conking out (I have the Medela maxi swing). So I was thinking it might be good to have a back-up.

Question po for those using electric pump, specially spectra users, hands free talaga kayo pag gamit niyo [textspeak!] pump? Once nagstart yung suction kumakapit yung pump sa niyo? Sorry 1st time ko gumamit ng elec and maling flange size yung napadala sa kin. I have to hold the bottles while i pump.

^ nope, you have to hold it parin pero nagccreate sya ng seal with the skin para gumana yung suction pero hindi sya kakapit in a sense na hindi mo na hahawakan. you have to buy a hands free bra for that talaga.

Hi mommies? Which is okay between spectra M1 and spectra 9+? Cost dfference is 1k only. Ty. Also how to know the right sixeze of flange to use?

^ refer to the diameter of your nipple. i found out mine is oversized pala, i'm using the standard 28mm. hehe. pero it does the job naman. i combine breast compression and hand expression.

personally, i bought s9+ kasi may timer and yung shape nya maganda bitbitin. m1 naman okay din, iba ang pull nya sa nipple hindi masakit unlike sa s9. or maybe it's just me kasi s9 lang na-try ko. m1 saglit lang, nung nasa showroom lang ako ni babymama.

For spectra users, do you purchase the silicon massager to be attached on the flanges? Or you use the flanges only? Ty

@sky_butterfly17 I'm also choosing between the two hehe pero leaning more on the 9+ because of the shape too hehe mas madali ilagay sa bag very important kasi ang portability sa akin kasi i'll be commuting lang when I get back to work.

I've got a hand me down pump in style advance (which is already phased out). But since libre, I want to use this and hoping na ok pa siya. Just want to ask, kung hindi ditto binili, pwede ko ba ipaservice to make sure na ok siya?
