What is cycle control sis?

I've been using m1 for almost three months and thankfully di pa bumibigay. I've researched before purchase and I did not find any review na madali pala sya masira. Siguro kulang pa sa pagbabasa. Yep suction control lang meron ang m1. Pero as you increase the level of suction, mas bumabagal din sya. Ako I use the massage function first. and then around 2. then pag medyo naka adjust na itataas ko sa 3, then 4. masakit kasi pag binigla na 3 or 4 agad.

^ i think yung cycle sis is yung number ng suck per minute? kasi nabasa ko as the baby grows, nagiiba din daw yun suck per minute nya. lol. ang pangit ng term ko, i don't know what that is called. basta yung sipsip nya in a minute so those with cycle control matches your baby's rhythm talaga kaya it increases milk production, although I don't know how significant that is. i noticed lang din sa hospital grade pumps and hospital pumps talaga they have the cycle control.

nabasa ko lang din sa isang review sa babymama na ayaw lang nya is walang cycle control yung isang pump. not sure if m1 or spectra 350/300 yun. kasi she badly needs it daw to produce more milk dahil nagiba na rhythm ng baby nya.

kaya ewan ko how badly i'd be needing it nga eh kasi depende lang din sa tao. kasi parang hindi ko maipagpalit portability ng m1. nakita ko na in person and yung gaan nya, sobrang convenient tapos if you have freemie cups, pump anywhere na

sis, di talaga pwede ipagpalit portability....

if you are going to buy yung hindi portable, you need a reliable manual pump pa....

ex. if you are in the mall, walang saksakan... or in the car, traffic or napahaba byahe

ang sakit sa dede... my longest without pumping is 10 hours... super sakit na boobs nun

^ yung s1 sis is rechargeable. kaso double ang price sa m1. kaya nagdadalawang isip ako if I really need that cycle control :/

I'm using spectra M1 okay naman siya yun lang may time ang bilis bilis malowbat kasi I need a double electric pump pag nasa school ako dahil diretso klase ko yung valve nya lang bilis dumulas lang

M1 pa sis is small lang... Pero reliable and strong.... Nasanay na din ako sa suction nya.... A lot more gentle than the 350 which is very strong....

Though yung flanges and bottles are bulky kaya nasa separate bag pa rin sila lahat pero im thinking of the s1 if its equally portable than m1... Its a little heavier e, imagine additional 1.5 kilos in our bag plus the bulk of it and the flanges and bottles... Siguro kung heavy user ka talaga, s1 would be advisable...

I pump almost exclusively na but i only pump around 4 to 5 times a day na lang... Hehe... Tinatamad na ko magpump... But i see to it i pump 1 oz per hour pa din.... Kaya if after 9 hours na kong di nagpump, i get minimum of 9 oz din para di magdwindle supply ko

So far so good.... Basta pump lang kayo till madrain boobs natin... Kahit patak patak na lang, minsan may next letdown pa...

Nakapabili na din ako ng freemie, its compatible with m1 daw... Sa singapore p galing... By january to feb pa daw magkakaron si babymama e.....

mathet oo nga sis, very compact yung m1 ang gaan and ang liit. pwede nga sa bag ko hehe! nakita ko narin s2 sa market2x, malaki nga sya. not as compact as the m1.

i talked to Miann of babymama, she said if I'm going to be exclusively pumping (which I might be in a few months after baby is born), I need a hospital grade pump daw. m1 might break down sooner kasi it's not designed for exclusive pumping.

wala sila stocks ng s1, m1 and s2 as of the moment. so once dumating na stocks nila, i'll visit their store and check kung ano talaga makakapalagayan ko ng loob hehe. ang dami naman kasi gumagamit ng m1 na nagsabi nag increase output nila with it but for someone who's going to be an exclusive pumping mom, iniisip ko baka hindi kaya ng motor nya if every 2-3 hours ang session namin.

Sa panganay ko, I used medela swing. Nabagalan lang ako kasi single pump. Pero very handy sya. Pump anytime anywhere. I want to try double pump this time. Mukhang madaming good reviews ang Spectra S1 and M1. I am interested on getting Freestyle sana but I want to see more reviews. Malapit lang kami sa Medela house. I plan to visit pag naclear nako ng OB from bed rest.

I will be returning full time to work after my ML. But will be working 3-4 x a week. Then I intend na magdirect bfeed kapag nasa bahay so Im thinking pagkagising then pagkauwi ko sa gabi and all night feedings. So max 4 pumps ako a day while at work. Unless magpump pako ng extra sa gabi pag de nagising si baby to feed.

I might have missed it, pero magchecheck din ba ng motor si babymama just like medela house? Is this part of the 1 year warranty?

^parang yes ata sis, kasi meron nga return pa niya yung sira niyang pump, nagbigay pa ng temporary pump si babymama habang inaayos yung pump niya

Spectra M1 user here  for a month ok naman sya for me. Sulit! I have Farlin naman sa manual at first.l Nakakangalay hehe!

Any idea if medela pumps can be "repaired? " at the medela house if it wasn't bought there? Bought mine kasi at eBay 2 years ago and now, pinapahiram ko sa SIL ko Pero parang wala daw suction yung isang tube.
