wag lang siguro sobrang dami talaga ng water. ang ginagawa ko pagka-wash nung tubings, ishe-shake ko muna vigorously para lumabas yung excess water. pag ganun, droplets nalang ang matitira sa loob ng tubings. tapos saka ko sya ikakabit sa pump habang naka-on. i make sure din na yung part ng tubing na nakakabit sa pump ay mas mababa than the pump itself para yung water hindi magdrop via gravity papunta dun sa pump.

hi prettycha! the evenflo storage bottles are compatible with medela pis. i have a medela pis and i sometimes use the evenflo bottles with it. any standard neck bottle is ok.

Thanks sis jebbygurl!  Di na kelangan ng any adaptor sis as in direct na sa pump?  This is very convenient [textspeak!] di ko na kelangan pa salin salin.  TIA

sis prettycha, no adaptor na. as in kabit mo lang directly sa pump flanges yung bote. pag tapos na pumping, just put on the sealing disk and ring sa bottle then store na sa ref/freezer. yep, very convenient.

Anybody here using Spectra S2 double pump? ano feedback ninyo? Plan ko sana bumili dahil sa affordability against sa medela, pero stable din kaya?

Im torn between the medela pump in style advance or the medela freestyle. Naka 50usd-70usd sale din kasi sa babiesrus.com... i read reviews kasi mas powerful parin ang motor ni pump in style advance compared kay freestyle. Freestyle naman is lightweight compared to the PISA. Im just a housewife and i want to pump to increase my supply and also to give my hubby bonding time with the baby.

^It depends on how long you aim to breastfeed, kung busy ka sa ibang chores sa bahay, kung nagttravel ka, etc. Personally, I think I am able to breastfeed this long dahil sa Freestyle. I bring it to my office everyday, and whenever I travel, it's really convenient to bring around. Maliit lang and magaan lang so I can bring my other pumping paraphernalia (extra bottles, ice pack) whenever I go out of the house for long periods of time. Kung mas malaki siguro ang nabili ko, either I would've been forced to stop bfeeding early dahil hindi talaga ko kakayaning magbitbit whereever I go ang mga bpumping essentials ko.

I would strongly advise you though to get insurance or warranty for freestyle. Sabi nung binilhan ko ng unit ko, dahil nga portable ang freestyle, it's prone to damage so you need buy a spare back up unit (kahit manual lang) and make sure you're covered by warranty or make sure you don't over/undercharge and/or drop the unit.

my son is now 14months and still BF and im so thankful with my medela swing.. hirap talaga ako sa avent manual. i think one thing that also motivates me para magpabreastfeed, dahil sa kabibili ko ng pumps I have:

1 medela swing
1 unimom
2 medela harmony
2 avent manual

Diba kaloka lang,pati si hubby nahilo na sa akin.

Mga sis, may mai-recommend ba kayo na cheap pero reliable na manual breastpumps (mga less than 1k)? Or talagang mas advisable yung avent, pigeon and medela?

May nakita ako na Farlin at Mimiflo na manual pumps kaso di ko naman alam kung reliable ba.

in my experience with my first born, masakit sa kamay ang manual breastpumps.    hindi kakayanin. maga na yung dede mo, maga pa kamay mo. muntik na kaya akong magka rayuma dun sa manual breastpump na binili ko. after a week yata, nagpabili nako ng electric breastpump. mas mahal siya. hindi ka naman pagod.

I'm thinking of buying Spectra S2. Isa ito sa closed systems and hospital grade pa. not too expensive din. May nabasa kasi ako na mas hygienic daw ang closed systems and di nagba-back flow ang milk na usually nagca-cause ng molds etc.

Hi mga ate. Ask ko lang, yung breast milk na na-pump na. Saan ko ba pwedeng istore? isa lang kasi ang ref sa bahay. O talagang dapat may seperate na fridge para lang talaga sa breast milk? 1st time mom here!
