Simple Luau theme swimming Party

Hello! My daughter's first birthday is on summer. So I was planning to have a luau theme, swimming party. Una, were not planning a bonggang bday kasi hindi pa naman nya maaappreciate at hindi kami mayaman. Hehe! Pero since first baby
Namin, first milestone, at love namin sya, we opted to give her a simple party. 2 parts yun, isa dito sa manila, isa sa province. 2 consecutive saturdays ang plan namin. Kasi di makakapunta yung mga taga manila sa province, taga manila mga relatives & friends ko. And some/most of nasa province baka di makapunta sa manila, province naman mostly relatives ni hubby. Plan ko luau theme! Colorful kasi nya rapos perfect for summer. Pero simple lang. Budgeted din kasi. I have a venue na, pool side ng isang condo. Swimming party naisip ko kasi baka walang entertainers like magician, clowns, acrobatics etc. syempre mgswimming lang sila. Especially yung mga bagets. Then for the food, was planning to have a 3-4 menu for the adults. Then finger foods for the kids, burgers, fries, hotdog, ice cream, ice cone, cupcakes, nachos & cotton candy. Baka it will look like stations of that foods, yung parang cart narin or tables na DIY lang. Then, games na swak sa theme. Tapos hawaiian music na background tapos syempre ang decors ay swak sa theme. Sa palagay nyo ba okay ang idea ko? Makakatipid ba ko dito? Mag eenjoy naman kaya mga bisita? Gusto ko rin kasi relax lang din parang family na nag a-outing. :-) pero mga 3-4 hours lang kasi yun din ang rent. :-) tas will give gift or souvenir sa mga bagets. Any ideas pa po? Sa decors? Sis mukhang bitin ang swimming time na 3-4hrs. Lalo na sa mga kiddos na pahirapan pag magpa-ahon sa pool. Baka you can check sa resorts, tapos you can ask the guests to pay for the entrance fee na lang then sagot nyo food and cottage/venue. Ganun kasi ginawa nun dati ko officemate. And wala naman problem with us paying for the entrance fee since minimal naman sha. happy preps!
