NC15-20 here! contour products i've tried:
- MAC Harmony - too red/muddy looking
- TheBalm Bahama Mama - ok naman, it's dark so you need to use a little product lang and blend really well.
- Smashbox Contour Kit - includes a bronzer (orange undertone but still matte) in the middle which i found sayang kasi i don't use bronzer naman and the kit is pricey. this is a good option if you want a contour, highlight AND BRONZER
- MUFE Sculpting Kit 2 - good also, but a little dark
- Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil - still too orange
- Benefit Hoola - turns orange even though it looks neutral in the pan
- L'oreal True Match Powder in Cocoa (C6) - powder foundation w/c is good in terms of color, but everytime i use it, i get little bumps :-(
- Palladio Wet/Dry Powder Foundation in Bronze (RWD405) - i think this is the darkest shade I saw in Beauty Bar and the color is really good!! neutral/cool taupe and i think it costs less than P700 pa. But then it breaks me out in cystic acne sa cheeks
try niyo lang, ang ganda talaga ng shade if hindi kayo magka-acne.
- NARS Laguna - orange
- NARS Casino - too dark, orangey
Holy Grail contour products:
- NYX Taupe - natural
[textspeak!] peg! pigmented, so use a light hand and a nice fluffy brush
(I use MAC168 or NARS Ita brush)
- Bobbi Brown Cement eyeshadow (for the nose line)
- Canmake Nose Shading Powder (nose line obviously
)
- MAC Baby Don't Go Prolongwear Brush - this is so underrated! it's a neutral-cool taupey brown that's great for fair-light skin. It's a little sheer (to me this is good kasi it's almost impossible to overdo the contours) so it really won't show up for those darker than NC20.
I'm waiting for INGLOT Ph to release the HD Sculpting Powders in their local branch pero parang wala pa dito.
