Best Contour Powder

CVontour powders are usually different bronzers. Bronzers are more orangem, meant to give that sunkissed look, while contour powders are made to accentuate the cheekbones and the depth of your natural facial contours. Ideally, a good contour powder can be used to contour the cheekbones, eyes, and the nose - sometimes a powder could even double as contour and bronzer depending on the undertones.


Currently, I'm choosing between MAC Harmony and Sleek Contour kit in Light. I'm nc15-20, any suggestions?
Burberry Earthy looks nice also, but looking more closely, it appears more orange.

^I tried MAC harmony before and it was a bit too dark on me, even with stippling blush, I guess hindi lang din kasi ako sanay. Now i just use bronzer to contour, my current one is Bobbi Brown in Golden Light, so far so good naman siya. My sister who is darker than me and is a make-up artist swears by Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, She uses it to controur the eyes and nose din kasi adik lang yon mag-contour. She asked me to try the Milk Chocolate variant baka daw mas ok for my skintone kasi Choco is a bit too dark nga daw, pero happy pa naman ako with my BB and mukhang pang-matagalan siya like the pressed powder nila na 1 year na sa akin ayaw pa rin mag-dent sa pan.

Ako naman yung Nars Laguna bronzer pero hindi ko masyado nagagamit kasi hindi ako macontour. Nacurious lang talaga ako hehe. Pero parang hindi sya long lasting or hindi lang ako makapal maglagay. Gusto ko din matry yung Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, ganda din kasi ng reviews.

sis Tine, try The Balm Bahama Mama or Sleek (cheap), Kevyn Aucoin (expensive)... i love these!!! Undertone's not orange btw.

I have the Bobbi Brown bronzer in medium...I'm just wondering if the shade's right for my nc30 skintone? i'm a newbie sa contouring eh. help, mga sis!

Super love ko ang NARS Laguna for contouring my NC30-35 skin. It doesnt look too orangey either. I tried Harmony (MAC), the Tony Moly ("best contour powder in Korea") and they look muddy. Super worth it ang LAGUNA dahil it's been 1 year na and I havent hit pan yet.

i'm nc25, pwede nars laguna? super newbie and ignorant ako with contouring or using bronzers. i'm also thinking of guerlain terra cotta(is this available still)?

parang consistent kasi sa good reviews si nars laguna.

^Try mo sis ang NArs Zen. It's lighter than Laguna. Hindi ako marunong mag contour masyado although hindi ko rin naman need mag contour, pag contour contouran, i use Zen. I find Laguna a tad  too dark pa din even as bronzer.

I use the guerlain terracotta miner flawless bronzing powder in medium. Got so many compliments when I started using this!

i think they only have one shade, pero it fits all skin color naman.

sis too dark for nc15 yang Benefit Hoola Bronzer.

mali pala ang ginagawa ko kaya hindi ko maapreciate si NARS Laguna, kasi ginagawa kong pang contour.  dapat pala ay dun sa area where sun hit's my skin. ayun, love ko na si NARS Laguna. kahit anong lipstick bagay sa kanya. mas naappreciate ko yung ganitong kulay ang cheeks ko, kasi parang may glow ang face na mukhang natural. diko na masyado nagagamit yung mga pink blushes ko. OT na ako. LOL pero syempre gusto ko pa rin i-try Chanel bronzers.

Hoola is better for darker skintones. I say go ka nalang for NARS Laguna, safer. Ang Hoola kase medyo muddy tingnan rin in some skintones eh.

Ang tagal ko na gusto i-try ang Zen because of your reco sis Ali! Maganda nga siya, almost got it last weekend kaya lang mas priority ko si Nico

For contouring, it's best to use a matte bronzer. I like Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte. Kim Kardashian uses this too.
