@meimei: Meron pa 'yan sis. Wag kang panghinaan ng loob. Cherry blossom season (and its forecast) dances around the spring equinox (third week of March). Around this time, nagsisimula nang magbloom ang cherry blossoms. Mas maaga mag-bloom sa Tokyo than the Kansai region (Kyoto/ Osaka) so unahin n'yo na ang Tokyo, if ever. We were able to book RT flights for late March of this year. Nabook namin around February, less than a month before the actual flight. Medyo mahal nga lang. Average namin per person was 8k but that's only because naubusan ng seats sa date na gusto namin (4 lang 'yung promo seats and there were 5 of us). projectgora's idea is also a good option. They also have seat sales but theirs are not as frequent as Cebu Pacific's. 

@huiy: Good deal na 'yan for Seoul, sis! Kapag meron pa ulit mas mura, book na lang ulit (for a different season or a different destination naman).

@fittotravel Actually hindi na talaga ako makapaghintay nung na book ko yun haha. Ayoko pakawalan yung last week of March and first week of April Iniisip ko kahit sale pa yan o hindi basta makita ang Sakura, go! Haha

^Understandable naman talaga na may kamahalan during the cherry blossom season.  After all, isa ito sa mga dahilan kung bakit gusto ng maraming makarating sa Japan. We booked our tickets on impulse, actually. Nagkagulatan na lang! Haha! Taranta kami lahat with the visa processing, itinerary, and hotel bookings! Sobrang worth it naman kasi talaga. Lalo na for my mom who loves nature. Para siyang bata nung nakita 'yung cherry blossoms sa Shinjuku Gyoen Park! Isa 'yun sa mga pinakamemorable trips naming buong pamilya!

Ang mura ng Ceb Pac RT Clarck-HK-Clark for 3 na around 7,000 lang. Travel date next month. Too bad wala kaming blow money. hehe. Sana next year magkaroon ulit ng promo.

Sis @huit, yung 13k nyo ba 1 way lang? Magbbook din sana ako ng October 2016 for Seoul kaso 1 way lang yung nakita ko, or 1 way lang ba yung sale? Thanks!

Hong muraaaa!! Ave is 8K/pax?? Mura na yan para sa last wk of Mar. Kaso naman, di ko naman kaya maghintay ng ganyan ka-late, Feb na na-book, hehe. Balak ko 3mos before my intended flight, mag-apply na ko visa. So dapat by Dec, may ma-book na ko na flight for last wk of Mar. Osaka-Kyoto lang ako, i'm not going to Tokyo.

Actually, ang hinihintay kong promo is 11K max na roundtrip. Kaso even so, wala pa rin ako makita. And medyo tumataas na ang fare so medyo kinakabahan na ko na baka i waited too long... i told myself until Oct ako maghihintay because i remember Jetstar releasing a promo fare at around the same time last yr for travel in March.

CebPac, ang tagaaaal!!! Wala pa rin promooooo!!

@meimei: If I were you I'd wait until mga mid-January for a seat sale. Meron at meron 'yan, believe me. I've been to Japan 3x in the past year at never pa akong binigo ng Cebu Pacific with their seat sales! Ang pinakamahal na namin was last March na 8k/pax. Pinakamura naman na nabook ko eh yung para sa November (my 2nd autumn and 4th Japan trip [in 365 days!]) at PhP 5,973, inclusive of a 15 and 20-kg baggage fee.

But if you have money to burn naman, an 11k roundtrip ticket for your preferred date is not that bad na rin. Ang benefit lang of booking in Janurary/ Feb eh mas makatotohanan na 'yung cherry blossom forecast.

I've noticed with Air Asia if your booking is 1 year ahead you can get really good fares even in high peak seasons. We booked ours last March 22 Manila -Seoul roundtrip for total of Php 19,112 for 4 persons. Travel date is April 15-23, 2016. Sana meron pa kami abutan na cherry blossom.

With Cebu pac naman not necessarily 1 year ahead booking. You can get really good seats mga 10 months in advance. We booked tickets last March 11 Manila -Narita roundtrip for total of Php 17,091 for 4 persons including 20kg baggage allowance. Travel date is December 21-29, 2015.

Same with sis fittotravel hindi pa ako binigo ng cebu pacific and air asia with really cheap fares.

Ok din ang promos ng Cathay Pacific. uy one and get 50% off on a second ticket for most destinations ngayon but you have to use a Citibank credit card.

I can't remeber pero I think mga 3 weeks or 1 month ago na may piso fare sa cebupac. If I avail the promo mga magkano kaya babayaran over all? 1000k+?

Useless rin sakin ang promo nila. Naka-blackout date ang cherry blossom season.
