i'm curious lang...

piso sale kasi both airasia and cebu pac, manila to kalibo (around sep2014-jan2015). then i tried mock booking thru both airlines. sa airasia, halos 1100+ RT ang fare while sa cebpac 1300+ RT. one peso ang base fare ng both trips though different dates. i know from my booking before na mas mura pa din talaga ang airasia compared sa cebpac.

but what trip are you going to choose, guys? 200+php lang naman ang difference but still that's almost a thousand if 5pax kayo diba?

ako na-try ko na both, the main difference lang for me is the airport where they depart (cebupac - terminal 3 while airasia - terminal 4). So kung mas type mo yung maganda at mas convenient na airport... Cebupac ka na, pero kung ok lang sa iyo yung medyo di kagandahan na airport, eh di sa Airasia na lang, sayang din yung difference, pwede ring pang taxi. Hehe! :-)

@pretty_B: I would go for CebuPac. Terminal 3 is very nice and it's no hassle at all if your flight gets delayed. AirAsia is at Terminal 4. Sorry to say, but the difference between the two terminals is like night and day. Like, the old domestic terminal is eww.

If your flight leaves on time, then I guess it's no problem if you're at Terminal 4.

^I was pleasantly surprised at terminal 4 when I went there for the first time late august. My expectations were really low after reading comments about T4. Airconditioned and bright naman yun airport. Rest room was fairly clean with seat covers available and bidet! Haha. It's not so bad! I won't mind getting on an airasia flight again kahit na T4

sis pretty_B yung 200 na difference kasama na yung charge fee ng airasia sa payment page? I'm always paying kase credit card, sa payment page may credit card fee na 200++ sa airasia, sa cebupac until you reach the payment page all-in na yun (assuming na inaalis mo lahat misc fee).... I will choose cebupacific kung same lang ng price, may games kase and I always win naman

Where do you suaully get the first dibs on airline promos. m super eyeing on Batanes through PAL Express or Siargao through CebPac for next year pa naman but I have not been lucky and di ko natatama or huli na ako sa balita most of the times.

Nakabili ako last month sa Air Asia ng promo nila. PISO FARE then NO fuel and no surcharges pa. Php 516 lang back and forth na MNL to Cebu. Super nice. Second time ko pa lang naman makabili ng promo, last time was Php 1,200+ binayaran ko back and forth MNL to Bora.

Airasia just had one. Cebu Pacific, wait mo sis kapag may holidays. for sure sa May 1 (labor day) magkakaron yan. i think nagkaron sila ng Piso fare nun for May 1, not sure lang kung last year yun or last 2 years.

Sana magkaroon ng promo ulit ang Airsia. Nag sisi ako bakit hindi ko pa binook 'yung Air Asia flight to PPS nung march. Nung April na, ang laki na masyado ng difference.

Sana maka swerte din ako ng piso fare.
