Btw, Did you have to book minimum rooms for Sol Marina?

sis dapat merong kasama sa package. pero nirefuse namin nung una kasi supposed to be, may magreregalo sa min ng rooms sa White Beach. eh biglang backout si friend haha! pero nagbook na lang din kami ng room sa  Sol Marina para hindi na mahirapan magpalipat lipat ng gamit. + right now, baka maupgrade kami sa Executive room nila kasi may promo (still subject for availability though). pero discounted pa din naman binigay nilang rate. =)

Another question for those who got Amanda as their wedding coordinator -- did you need to sign the contract before sending the down payment? Medyo complicated lang kase yung sa amin kase we're signing from two different places! I'm thinking combined printing-scanning-Photoshopping and magiging eksena nito...

Oh, and can anyone recommend HMUA from Bora/nearby na okay? Parang isang name lang nakikita ko eh, but I'm wondering if meron pang iba.

Question for Those who've seen Asya -- ano yung garden at the end of the long beach na good for 30-50 pax (as per Amanda)? I tried looking for photos on the internet and ang nakita ko lang was a poolside reception, and maliit pa yung picture (kung walang caption I wouldn't know).

^ almost there sis. yung mga DIYs ko na lang kelangan tapusin then distribute ang mga bouquets sa ento. till now nasa "guest confirmation" part pa din ako. nakakainis, considering na destination wedding, maaga dapat pinagplanuhan ng iba, merong biglang nag back out (ento pa to ah!) just because. will check out the suits later sa Onesimus. last day ng 20-50% off sale nila today eh. hehe

ako din, wait ko yung magrereply about sa HMUA from boracay. if the budget fits, baka kuhaan ko din yung ento ko. =)

@gj1206: garden sa Asya? ang alam ko lang na garden sa asya is their palay garden wala ito sa beach ha, nasa parang cliff ito. nakakita na ako ng wedding reception na doon ginawa yung reception.

ang rate ni fern per head HMUA nung sa amin was Php 1,500/pax.

re: amanda, we paid the DP muna of 20K php ata then we signed the contract then i scanned it and sent it back as PDF then she returned it to me na may signature na din niya as PDF file.

Hi everyone, officially just finished reading 46 pages from Thread 1.

Congratulations to past boracay brides and soon-to-be brides =)

We are on the first stage of planning our Nov 2016 wedding, and we are in contact with Amanda! Our top choices are: 1) Shangri-la 2) Asya 3) Discovery Shores.

I have definitely learn so much from these all these 46 pages! So exciting!

Bora.Nov2016 Gosh, well done! I admit I only read half of the last thread and this thread. And ang tagal pa ng wedding mo! Way to go for planning early! I think that's really good para hindi masyadong stressed (although may stress pa rin!).

babythug28 basta enjoy your day! Ako na lang ang papasan ng nerbiyos mo, hehe. I've only started planning pero I can already see all the effort involved kahit may coordinator, so I really hope your day turns out to exceed your expectations!

@iAmMariee / @babythug28 / @gj1206 - since my first post, we have booked Amanda for full coordination since we are starting from scratch. We also have picked a date and reserved the church. So it is moving along, even though we have more than 2 years to prepare.

We are now looking the venue. Right now, we are torn with Asya and Shangri-La. Any suggestions?

last night sis hindi kami inulan sa ceremony till photoshoot hahahha! sakto pagdating ng reception nagstart na umulan buti na lang may plan B yung Sol Marina. pasok kami sa restaurant area nila and dun na tinapos lahat will post pics soon. ngayon ko nadama yung pagod ng katawang lupa ko hehe

Hi everyone! omg I'm so happy this thread is still alive! lol I was looking online and mga past post nakikita ko! I'm getting married in Boracay too OCT 2015 and I put a reservation na din! anybody here getting married at Estacio de uno? I'm still thinking if I'm hiring a wedding coordinator! is it really worth it? Ronald Soncio is charging 50k now for only the wedding day! arrgghhhhh thought he would be a little cheaper based from the posts here...

prettyrosedale - i hired Amanda Tirol for full coordination. i believe she also offer OTD service. she is a sweetheart and from what i have heard she is definitely worth it. i'm sure the past Boracay brides can concur to this and i think iluvcheesecake was married at Estacio. i'm not sure if she is still on this thread.

hello there. yes i was.. the best thing i liked about asya was the stairs LOL and food during reception simot sarap haha cake at cupcakes lang ang natira.

@babythug28: aww buti naman sis atleast diba hindi inulan the ceremony itself. excited to see the photos.. enjoy the rest of your stay there..
