How much is your budget for HMUA? you're right, its a bit pricey, i paid Php22k for 7 heads including me and added Php5k for my airbrush and Php2.5k for trial makeup. let me know if you would like his contact details. i like his makeup.
if you're used to putting makeup yourself, you can do it. just remember super init sa boracay, mabilis makatanggal ng makeup.
Flights - its still more convenient to fly to caticlan, wala ng 2 hour van trip from kalibo. in terms of extra luggage, its only Php150 per kilo. mas mahal nga lang talaga ang flights to caticlan.
Tips for flight: In my case as early as feb or march we have booked na one way flight to caticlan for my family. We booked all the piso fares of Cebu Pacific when they went on sale, Php600 in total - one way including 10 kilo baggage allowance
My wedding was November. My observation for caticlan flights, Cebu Pacific dont put Friday/Saturday flights on sale. Most of my family flew on a Wednesday. Check CB 6-9 months before your flight for the piso fare.
Flights from Caticlan to Manila didn't go on sale last year - 2012. My family flew from Kalibo on the way back to Manila, cheaper. i subscribed to Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines. I was able to avail sale seats from Air Philippines for my Caticlan to Manila flight, Php1200 in total including 10 kilo baggage allowance.
Kalibo - some of my relations booked flights a week before the wedding reasonable price pa din. Tiger Airwars and Zest Air are cheaper than PAL.

My OTD were great! they're amazing. I do recognise that its easier and handy if OTD is well used to Boracay (like Amanda can do more extra service) but I think my OTD still performed well on the day despite not being from there
I paid around Php12k for accommodation and flights of two people. there were four of them, the other two paid for their own, gift na daw sa akin. P/V - Bordoy is sort of local so their accommodation is included na sa contract ko.
I only paid for the lunch and dinner of the P/V on the day. The DJ, i thought he was great, he was really good during the cocktails. On the after-party, may mga music na hindi ko gusto which i thought was my hubby's playlist. hubby said the songs were not his playlist. but maybe his playlist influenced the songs that were played. wala mga bago more on 80s:( and i was talking to DJ Eric before the wedding, but he wasnt there on the day. Maybe he was there in the afternoon but he was definitely not there in the evening.
Weather was perfect on the day, it rained the following days after the wedding though.
hindi naman maalon. init - naku sobrang init na init ang mga irish guests! mga basa ang damit. don't wear coloured shirt for men, mas halata ang pawis. hehe.. nakakatawa may picture before the start of the ceremony, lahat ng lalaki nasa harap ng electric fan!
Footwear - i suggest wear wedge, sandals or flipflops sa beach. my ceremony shoes have small heels , i thought i was fine in the sand but when i changed into my wedge, i felt the difference. mas madali maglakad
Florist - entourage is Vatel Manila, he's Manila based. Church - Florista - boracay based.

For those na June, July when I went to Boracay in August 2011 all the beachfront resorts have wind breakers so natakpan ang resort. I think they put that during the rainy season so you might want to check how the set-up will be.
Lastly, I realised that November is a good month to get married in Boracay. Its not yet peak (although some resorts start their peak season mid-November) and its also the start of the cooler months in the Philippines. International flights are also not that expensive compared to December. I didnt think of these when we set the date, it just so happened that november was the only month that suited the schedule of my fiance's family. It worked out well for myself and hubby.
