Yung sa Vivo City Giant taxi stand na big taxis, they charge S$45.00 per transfer (point A to point B).

wala naman additional charges.  Pero sana pala magkasya ang mga gamit nyo sa taxis.  Baka malalaki ang mga maleta nyo at mararami.

^^ sis, you can get 2 big taxis (yung mala-minivan) para di kayo masikip..

But if i were you, ganyan kadami (9 adults and 4 kids) and ganyang oras ang arrival, i would choose the prearranged transpo na. For everyone na yung rate na SGD85, no? If so, good deal na yan for convenience, IMO..

ok na yang one way transfer from ibis hotel na $85 coz normally a van is $50 to $60 tapos if manggagaling pa sa airport may additional charge pa especially if midnight onwards so sis ok na yan and sure ko dami ninyong maleta because you have kids.
pansin ko pala sis na 9 adults and 4 kids kayo. one taxi can only allow 4 adult passengers and kahit ikalong nyo pa yung isang bata im pretty sure na hindi kayo papayagan because bawal ito and for road and passenger safety na rin. I suggest for long trips you may hire a van. kadalasan $60 lang ito and lahat kayo kasya. Because big group kayo mga tatlong taxi pa kayo and baka masmataas ang cab fare kesa isang van na kayo.

the IT i made na may price /taxi is for each taxi, 3 taxis kami lagi for sure kasi bawal nga yung madami siksikan sa SG may kausap akong car rental service ito quote nya ok ba?

Kami din sis yapee, since early 2010 kinukuha na namin service nya, baka binawi nya lang yung peso na hindi namin nabigay dati. Hahaha!

^^ sa 3rd week of September kami sis..wala pa kaming accomodation pero ang mga choices ko ay mga Fragrance Hotel or Hotel 81 dahil mura lang sila. may kasama kasi akong senior citizen at bata, kaya medyo namimili pa ako ng hotel.. san ka si magstay?

Sorry to be a party pooper but I won't advise yung "ikakandong" yung bata to get away with not paying the fare. Whether the child will seat or not if malaki na yung bata the correct fares should be paid. Lalo na with how the locals are nowadays with foreigners, we have to abide with the rules here at mahirap nang mapahiya, just my 2 cents I've seen a number of incidents (bus and mrt) wherein nasita ang guardian/parents sa fare ng bata.

hello mga sisses..

we will be in SG on May 7 -10, 2 adults and a 15 month old toddler

day 1: 10 am dating namin, then check in pa so what to do on the half day?
day 2: hello kitty town  - what else can we do pagbalik
day 3: city tour (na di ko alam if pwede ko tanggalin na lang or mas convenient kasi may sasakyan) / sentosa sunset - mas ok ba bumili ng pass or lakad lakad na lang since di naman kami pwede sumakay sa mga attractions
day 4: 2:20 pm ang flight so i dont know kung shopping na lang sa morning

where can i squeeze the singapore zoo, IKEA, pasalubong, Esplanade, Marina bay sands, Merlion, etc.

edit to add: di ba talaga ok ang Fragrance Hotel - Selegie? yun kasi ang hotel sa tour package namin... pag di ok papapalitan ko ng YMCA kung ok pa...

With your iterinary malabo na mag IKEA since this is not in the city area... On your first day, you can go straight to the Zoo as soon as you arrive. You can have lunch at the Zoo na mismo. If you're getting the city tour on the 2nd day, I assume you'll be able to see Esplanade/Merlion but check with your travel agent first. If you have a pram with you, you can just ditch the city tour and make your own itinerary. IMO better if hawak mo oras mo if you have a toddler on tow. For Sentosa, you can go to SEA Aquarium at Sentosa, I'm sure your baby will enjoy this one Then on your last day, maybe last minute shopping nearby (Bugis maybe for pasalubongs) then lunch at airport before checking in para hindi masyadong ngarag. hope this helps

Going to SG in less than 2 weeks pero ang bagal ng oras haha.

Originally, after arriving at 10AM on Day 1, dapat mag check in lang kami then zoo by 1PM. However, nag-switch kami dahil gipit masyado sa Day 3 (5:40PM flight) kung dun kami mag-mall (since malls open at 10am pa).

So Day 3 magiging:

8:30-12:00 Zoo
around 1:00 must arrive at hotel (we'll be taking a taxi so 30 mins lang naman)
2:00 must leave for airport (we have choice kung cab or public transpo since 1 hour allowance namin)
3:00 ETA airport
5:40 flight to MNL

Do you think mas okay if we bring our stuff to the zoo na? Bale, 3 check-in bags, 3 hand-carry, and 3 handbags? Para we can extend at the zoo til 1 siguro para mas enjoy, then be at the airport 2:30 na lang (para mas enjoy din for last minute shopping)

May big lockers ba sa zoo?

sarap magshopping ng mga chocalates and groceries sa Mustafa because they have a lot of choices. minsan nga may makikita ka doong cloud 9 hehe pero the best time to go there is on a weekday non peak time or madaling araw because 24/7 naman sila. warning lang ng kaunti, na parang uniwide ito ha na masikip ang mga aisles ang malakas ang amoy dito so best to go there is huwag magsiksikan...daming tao dyan pag weekend   
but big giant supermarkets are also a good otion na rin to shop.

magbook ka na sis because that's Singapore F1 from 20,21 and 22 of September and para may early bird discount ka rin sa mga hotels because ang mahal na yan because nga may event dito.

^^Better if you can check in na muna before going to Singapore Zoo Just take a cab going to Singapore Zoo since this is very far from the city area and para hindi sayang rin ang time. You can ask the concierge to get a cab naman just in case.
