^^ fastest way to Yishun from Orchard is MRT, same silang Red line (North South line), Yishun is 9 stations away, around 30mins.
From Yishun MRT to Yishun ave 7, you need to take bus.
as xtine said, use gothere.sg, it will give you the bus #.

Arrived from another 4 day SG trip a couple of days ago.

DAY 01 - Had breakfast at the Mabuhay Lounge. Glad to know there are more offerings now than just their famous arroz caldo. Was bussed to the waiting A330... Glad to know that there were only two families (mine included) in Mabuhay Class so pwede tumambling inside the cabin.
Had brunch at Mickey Dee's at the arrival area in T2 before hiring a large 7 seater taxi to our hotel in Sentosa Island (Movenpick Heritage Hotel).

Can't find fault with this 2yr old hotel. Location is perfect! Just a stone's throw away from the Sentosa Merlion and right across Imbiah station. Sneak in was not sneak in at all. My kids were running around the lobby while I was checking in and I was even asked by the front desk staff how many we were (for the Sentosa re-admission tkts for island residents and for welcome ice cream! ) I booked their Sentosa escapade package (connecting rooms - king room and twin rooms) at approx SGD2000.
Visited the flyer in the afternoon. Had to wait almost 2 hours for operations to resume since it was temporarily suspended due to the rains. When it commenced, we had a capsule all to ourselves. Lovely. Great experience than our previous flyer visit (hubby and I).

DAY 02 - Booked breakfast with our room (and internet) and even our two extra kids were welcomed, at no additional cost. USS day, we were able to enjoy all attractions this time around. I got soaking wet at the Jurassic ride cos all my stuff was in the locker already by the time I wanted to buy a poncho. Came across fellow airline peeps also visiting the park that day. Hubby did Cyclon alone since all my kids weren't allowed on it yet.

DAY 03 - Sentosa day...visited the SEA Aquarium first. Almost like the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Cali. My kids enjoyed this and it was a respite from the heat outside. I, then, got noon play pass tickets at sentosa (valid from 2:30pm-7pm)...the merlion, cable car, desperados and sky tower. I also purchased premium tkts for the 740pm showing of songs of the sea.

DAY 04 - Since we were travelling with 4 young kids, we didn't take them out of the island anymore except for the singapore flyer. One of my daughters was asking if she could stay for 10days more...haha...we checked out earlier than planned since we heard that flights back to MNL were full, but we were accommodated immediately when we checked in. I used the services of the airport taxi that we got from Changi for our return trip. Glad I kept his card. Did some DF shopping for the obligatory pasalubong. Met with more of hubby's colleagues before entering the gate. Flight back to MNL was smooth, food was good, service was great. On to the next voyage...

Okay ba Forever 21 in SG mga sis? I mean, in terms of price? Cheaper ba than here?

^Its cheaper here in Manila IMHO and the stocks are more attractive in the Phils.  Cheap blouses there costs around SGD24 = PHP780 (cheapest) up to SGD 50 = PHP1625.
I was able to buy a dress here in Manila for Php 635 (SGD20) as its hard to find a dress for that amount as SGD20 for a dress is tiangge price.

^I think if the brand is being carried by SSI (Rustan's) its more cheaper in SG.  Otherwise, its more inexpensive in PH (Uniqlo' Relacco is sold in SG for SGD16.95 (Php550) while it is PHP450 in MOA).  Both Uniqlo and Forever21 is distributed by SM.  Cotton-On, on the other hand, is expensive in PH by Php200.

Hi sis! Suggestions naman for other activities to do in SG. Me and my best friends from high school are planning to go around October. First out of town trip namin na us three lang without parents we're still in college so limited budget lang hehe. 4days/3nights siguro. So far, from what I've backread, USS, gardens by the bay and songs of the sea and okay gawin with friends. Plus shopping and eating. What else pa kaya?

^ G-Max Reverse Bungee is great din with friends. Medyo pricey nga lang. Sa area na yun sa Clark Quaye rin maraming bars & clubs.

^ and ^^ I'd also recommend reverse bungee. Masaya yun lalo na group kayo na mag vacation. There's also parajump and megazip sa sentosa. Enjoy!

Is 20,000 PHP (approx 588 SGD) enough for a 3-day SG trip? (less than 7,000 PHP per day or less than 200 SGD per day)

^yes sis. I think that's enough para sa basic transpo (MRT and bus), 3 meals/day, entrance fee sa USS, sentosa. Roughly $190/day is more than enough sa tingin ko
