^No, that is incorrect sis.  Actually, you need to know if inclusive or exclusive to know the FINAL PRICE before purchase.  Inside changi, final price MUST NOT include GST.  Yung mga shops outside Changi that are SGD100 or more ang pwede irefund ang GST.  Take note that all purchases have GST outside Changi.  Same as VAT here in Phils, lahat ng binibili merong VAT.

What we meant are there are prices within Changi na you have to ask if inclusive or exclusive of GST ang prices.  Outside Changi are definitely WITH GST because same as Phils VAT.  The subject was why know if Changi goods' prices are inclusive of exclusive of GST.

^yes.  Sis Girlcrush is right.  In terminal three, there are also shops like cotton on, bara, fairprice groceries and others whi show their prices inclusive of tax.  But after immigration, usually i still ask if the pricetag is GST exclusive just to be sure.

To set things straight

You need to know if inclusive or exclusive to know the FINAL PRICE before purchase when inside Changi, which means final price MUST NOT include GST. 

For instance, when you buy Bengawan Solo or Bee Chiang Hiang Bakkwa inside after immigration, they will advertise the price WITHOUT GST, which is the final price

However, if you try to look for things to buy before immigration, let's say, Cotton-On, the sale price INCLUDES GST.  So the final price of less GST will be after punching your purchase in the cashier. 

In case you are within after or before immigration, it is still best to ask the SA if the prices they advertise is WITH OR WITHOUT GST so you will know more or less how much you are to pay.  Otherwise, it will confuse you if the advertised price is the final price or not.

^Inside Changi Airport lang ibabawas ang GST.  Goods (or gadgets) worth SGD100 or up bought OUTSIDE CHANGI lang ang may refund.  By natural sense, hotels are NOT included because these are not Goods.

Someone offered us a good deal with Raffles Hotel rates. Nakita ko sa website niya na almost S$600 per night pala ito pag regular rate! What's so special about this hotel? I'm worried na baka parang Manila Hotel lang ito na kaya mahal e dahil may history. My other option na is Swissotel The Stamford.
