Hi sis kho_leen, If I may comment on your itinerary:

Day 1

There's a shop inside YMCA in Dhoby Ghaut as well as vendo machine outside.  If you want a wider and cheaper selection The Cathay mall or Plaza Singapura is just a stone away but only when it opens at 10AM, just a tip.

The only picture area in Vivo city is on the actual "Harbourfront" Ground level where you see the docked ship.  And on the level of sentosa express, you have to go outside the balcony.  It has nice view and ambiance.

Song of the sea is only 30 minutes for I think SGD12.  This is entertaining for the kids.  Singapore National Museum is only free during Sundays.

With your schedule, you can proceed in chinatown via the purple line (Harbourfront MRT then Outram park then next one is Chinatown MRT), eat at Smith St --> the food street

Day 2

Are you going to bring all your luggages to the church?  Why not get them after the mass?

4 Fingers is same as Bonchon chicken in Manila.  Just roam around Ion basement for food inkling that you may have.  If you love takoyakis, Gindaco in Food Hall is a good choice.  Also don't forget to look at Daiso.  My visitors often go ga** with their purchases here.  I'm not sure if its same as Daiso in Manila but they said, the selections in SG are cuter, wider and more affordable (2SGD all items - Php66).

For me, since you already checked in MBS, no need for Flyer.  You have unlimited access to the skypark since you are a guest.  Non guests have to pay if you want to see the view atop MBS.  SG flyer is just the same but only for boring 30 min for SGD26.

Just walk from MBS to Fullerton or Makansutra.  I'm not sure if there's a boat going to and from MBS, fullerton as its just near.

Day 3

If you have the resources, I suggest you take the taxi to Changi (saves time.. really!) then surrender your luggages to the "Left luggage" area for $4 for 24 hours so that you have all the time to roam around without lugging your things.

MBS has Rasapura masters, the food court

For bakkwa --> Fragrance in Chinatown (better than Bee Cheng Hiang).
For Kaya Toast --> If you have time after check in, go to terminal 3 in Changi airport basement 3, there's a fair price groceries there.  You can even shop at Bata, Cotton-on, samsonite, etc.  All less than 7% tax due to its located in Changi.  But kaya toast is available in all groceries.  There's a cold storage within MBS before Rasapura Masters.
Floss --> Fragrance or Bee chieng Hiang in Chinatown
Olay products  --> Its expensive in SG.  But you can try to compare in Watsons.  I'm not sure how much it retails in PH.

1 whole day ang USS. carry siguro kung may express pass ka. Pero pagod yan coz gardens by the bay is in a different location.

Thank you sa lahat ng inputs mga sis. Sa totoo lang, alam kong ngarag ang byahe na gagawin namin, sa MY lang kasi kami talaga dapat. Kaso yung mga kasama ko mga first time lang makakapunta ng SG. Gusto lang nila sa MY eh yung Petronas saka konting shopping then gusto nla mag SG para isang byahe na lang kaya talagang ipinipilit ko sa IT. I stayed in SG for almost 2 mos in 2008 at wala pang USS nun kaya napapayag nila ako isingit ang SG sa IT namin, hehe.

Day 1 - arrival in MY at 6PM
           picture taking sa Petronas before heading to KL sentral train Station to Woodlands

Day 2- Singapore
          USS and Gardens by the Bay sa hapon and some sightseeing hanggang gabi
          Proceed to JB for overnight train to KL sentral

Day 3 - KL - Hotel early check in if will be allowed
                  Batu Caves then roaming in the city and Jalan Alor at night

Day 4 - free day / souvenir shopping
           2PM hotel check out, proceed to KL sentral to LCCT


May pwede bang i-change sa IT namin? I was also considering spending 1 night in SG kaso nanghihinayang ako sa magiging byahe pabalik sa MY. Mas ok kung gabi kami bibyahe habang tulog, at least naka save ng time at hotel accommodation di ba? at wala ring masasayang na day time.

What I meant by the statement below is that both Bonchon and 4 Fingers have the same formulation (cooking style).  Therefore, if one already exists in Manila, I'd pass on eating at 4 fingers (in SG) as the same can be found in Manila but different establishment.

^^ Mga sis, we have 4 Fingers here in Manila. So I suggest skipping it nalang talaga.

Hello guys, kababalik ko lang from sg last april 2. ok naman trip namin. 2nd time na pero marami pa din kaming napuntahan. We stayed at Hotel 81 Palace in Geylang ok naman for a budget hotel. Kahit red light district sya super safe nga. But of course kung magisa ka lang na girl na nagttravel it is not advisable to stay there or kung wala talagang choice wag ka na lang mag dress up masyado. Yung cousin ko na girl gabi sya dumating dun magisa lang sya and she stayed at fragrance hotel pearl in geylang... safe naman sya.

First day namin we arrived at around 10am sa changi then almost 12pm na sa hotel. Then we went straight to bugis junction to see what's there then merlion (although we've been there before pero yung cousin ko first time). Then helix bridge (dumaan lang kami) and marina bay sands then gardens by the bay (naka discount kami because of our friends working in sg), natapos kami sa area ng mga 6pm. From there dumiretso na kami sa night safari. we arrived there at around 9pm. sinakyan namin from marina bay mrt baba ng ang mo kio then may bus terminal dun going to night safari. natapos kami ng 11pm medyo nagmadali nga lang kasi baka di na kami umabot sa mrt.

2nd day... USS all day then konting Sentosa tapos by 9pm yung crane dance. Tinanghali kami ng punta sa USS tapos ang dami pang tao kaya medyo konti lang nasakyan naming rides. After crane dance nag orchard road kami then uwi na. Nag dinner kami sa geylang na. ang daming kainan dun.

3rd day... science center in jurong east. Tanghali na din kami nakapunta dun. We arrived at 1pm yata then natapos kami ng 6pm since pasara na sya. Ok naman sa science center lalo na kung may kids kayong kasama. Ang natuwa ako dun yung laser maze although may extra fee sya aside sa entrance na binayaran nyo. Then after Science center nagpunta kami sandali sa Lau Pa Sat sa Raffles to see what's there. Isang malaking hawker food center na may mga filipino food and stores. Then sa clarke quay na kami nag dinner and my bf tried the gmax (yung bungee ride something hehe).

4th day... Bugis ulit tapos sinuggest ng friend namin yung chin chin eating house na dinadayo daw dahil sa chicken rice nila. Masarap nga at ang daming kumakain kapag lunch time. Sobrang sulit at mura lang. Naubos namin ng bf ko yung 1 whole chicken then we ordered 2 lemon ice tea, isa pang drink na sikat sa kanila (i forgot the name), sweet and sour pork, 4 chicken rice. Ang bill namin nsa 29sgd lang. Then after dun libot konti then balik na sa changi airport.


Pahabol na tip sa USS... if you have mastercard Credit card yun na lang gamitin nyong pambili kasi may 15% discount yata... from 74sgd 63sgd na lang binayaran namin each. I just dont know kung hanggang kelan ang promo.

Question regarding duty-free shopping sa Changi Airport. Naconfuse kasi ako bigla Their prices ba are as is na meaning na-less na 'yung tax or i-leless pa?
