Mahigpit ba ang immigration sa Singapore? I will be travelling with my 1y/o son by then  with my partner (we're not married). My passport has stamps naman from 2 other countries. I encoutered a problem with HK IO kasi when I first went there which happens to be my first out of the country trip and wala pang stamp yung passport ko.

^^^^ meron "left luggage" facility sa airport, nagamit na namin twice.. Per piece ang bayad though. I'm not sure, pero baka nasa Changi website ang rates.. You can compare with the USS locker rates.. I believe the locker size for sites like USS, Disneyland, etc can fit 2-3 regular maletas naman...

Nakabook na kami sa YMCA - One Orchard.

Ask ko lang sa nakapag stay na sa YMCA, walkable ba from hostel yung mga malls sa Orchard?

^^Plaza singapura, cathay, singapore art museum and national singapore museum is walkable from YMCA for 5 minutes.  But then if you continue walking for another 10 minutes, orchard central na then somerset 313 ans the rest of orchard rd malls.  Check gothere.sg and click on "walk" to determine how many minutes the walk will be.

^also the same comments from friends who went there.  Friends who don't know each other told me the price is not justifiable to the experience.  I think this is SGD26 per person per ride.

Mga sis help, We're going to arrive at changi airport around 5pm. Can we possibly go straight to night safari?
Squeezing in sa itenirary namin since 2days lang kami in SG. is it possible?

And can you recommend where we can go to if yung return flight namin would be around 2 pm?

^Yes you can.  Night Safari usually starts at 7:00PM.  But once you're done with hotel check-in.  Just grab a bite at the Zoo (location of night safari).

Mga sis, on-time ba ang departure lagi ng CebPac if from Manila? Flight namin is 8:30PM. Madalas ba talaga silang delayed? First time kasi flying with them eh.

Another question, if you were to choose to visit USS between Friday and Saturday, anong mas pipiliin niyo?
Friday - Less crowd, less waiting time in queuing BUT no parade and fireworks
Saturday - Crowded, longer queues, but with parade and fireworks

We're visiting this April, btw. Or baka wala naman difference sa crowd ng Fri and Sat? Haha.

^sis, sa experience ko dati sa cebu pac going to sg yung papunta on time pero yung pauwi delayed.  mukhang mas maraming tao sa uss pag saturday than friday sis.

Hello may nakapunta na ba ng Science Center Singapore? Maganda ba? Mahilig kasi ako sa mga science exhibit. TIA!

sis!!!!! kami ng family ko nag-enjoy kami. and take note, wala kaming bata ha. my parents are in their late 50's/early 60's, tapos kami ng kuya ko are both in our late 20s, but we are a family of geeks kasi, hehe. i mean, we love learning, yung mga tipo ng tao na nag-eenjoy manood ng Discovery, Nat Geo, History, etc.

so honestly, we had fun at the Science Center Singapore. ang favorite namin ay yung Mind's Eye Gallery, yun din naman kasi ang pinakamalaki. nice din yung outdoor exhibits, pero onti lang, pero explore that kasi nice lang exploring exhibits in a garden-like setting. pero do not set your expectations too high ha, kasi medyo luma na yung exhibits and there are some exhibits that no longer work. BUT, we still enjoyed kasi marami pa naman na maayos na exhibits. iniisip ko lang kasi, kung mahilig ka sa science exhibits, baka nakapunta ka na sa mga uber modern and well-maintained exhibits, then hindi ganung level yung Science Center Singapore. UNLESS, they improved it in the past year, we went there last April 2012.

nagtataka nga ako why it's not as well-maintained as i hoped kasi Singapore is a very modern country, so i would think that they'd invest in exhibits like that. pero as i said, we still enjoyed it. halos inisa-isa namin yung lahat ng exhibits sa Mind's Eye, as in we took our time, hehe.

Hi.  Anyone who tried the superior twin room of YMCA @ one orchard?  Pwede ba tanggalin yung table in between the bed and join the two single beds? 

Pricey kasi yung suite.  Just wanted a big bed. 

Just checked asiatravel website.  They have a crazy sale for orchard hotels.  Mura na ba ang 7k for room only at these 4star hotels along this area?

^^yes, mura na ang 7K/room for a 4-star hotel. kasi yung ibis (3-star hotel), 7K/room ang binayaran ko last year at regular price. go get it!

Hi Sis! As far as I know, walang direct MRT from SG to Legoland. Though you could take the MRT from wherever you are in SG to Kranji Station and take the bus (No. 170 yata yun or 190) or the Causeway Link bus from there.  You check the SMRT and Causewaylink Bus websites na lang sis. The routes and rates are posted there.

I can't comment on JPO as we have not been there yet.

As for USS, I don't think mae-enjoy na sya ng 3.5 y/o. Try nyo na lang sis yung Madagascar Crate Adventure at yung carousel dun. I think pwede sa kid mo yun. My kids were 5 and 7 when we went there. They had a blast at the Magascar Crate Adventure, the carousel ride, the Shrek 4D, Waterworld, Treasure Hunters, Steven Spielberg's Lights! Camera! Action! at Transformers.

Were going to SG on May 4-may 10 dun kame stay sa bro in law ko kaya lang may work sila so kame lang mamasyal san ba maganda mag eenjoy ang kids?yung reasonable ang price ng gastos at san mura bibili ng souvenier?i need to prepare my itenirary before end of april thanks!
