xtine hi sis ask ko lang kung ok ba kumuha ng mga online tickets, reservations sa groupons, voucherlicious at ada? kahit nasa manila pako? malapit na rin kasi kami umalis so i think its better kung planado na lahat, saka sis yung pagpunta ng BATAM bakit super mura naman? too good to be true wala na kayang hidden charges ang mga to?

nagchecheck po ba talaga ng pocket money ang IO? pano kung walang 20k pera ko for 4 days stay, offload ba? praning na mga kasama ko, kelangan daw 20K daw dala, pano kasi yung isa kong kasama maaiwan dun maghanap ng work...

Di ko pa natry yung voucherlicious pero yung mga kakilala ko na pupunta dito, nag pupurchase naman sila sa groupon.sg or all deals asia.  Then pagdating nila dito, iclaim yung tickets via their voucher kasi yung mga attractions, they will not accept vouchers kelangan iclaim mo yung tickets from the merchants.  So far wala pa naman problem na naencounter sila.

Dito naman, hindi naman sa nagchecheck pero major offense sa atin at sa ibang bansa ang maglabas ng excess of any currency amounting to 10k.  Its because pag lumabas ang more than 10Kphp outside pinas for instance, mauubusan ng Pesos sa circulation sa pinas.  So dapat yung PHP is circulating within PH at hindi sa ibang bansa.  I would suggest converting it to USD dahil mas mahal bumili ng SGD dyan sa pinas.  Kahit anong currencies, mas mahal bumili pag non USD.

Sharing the SG leg of KL-SG trip with my mother

Same with KL, weather in SG was great! Sobrang init!!

Day 1 - Travel to SG from Melaka. Passed immigration for both exit/entrance. Naharang si mother at SG immigration simply because its her first time. Anyway wala naman naging problema, konting interview lang and she was let go. We rode bus #170 from Johor Bahru and from immigration we were dropped off at Kranji Station wherein we were met by my friends based in SG. Sabay na kami bumiyahe papunta chinatown to check-in at our accommodation (courtesy of my friend). We stayed at The Inn at Temple Street at Chinatown. Very nice place. Charming. And what makes it extra special, our 2nights stay were free! Since sobrang pagod na kami from all the land travel we just had dinner and pahinga na agad para fully charge for the next day.

Day 2 - Went to Vivo city for early lunch at Food Republic before heading to Sentosa. We went thru the boardwalk and just paid 1SGD for the entrance. We just roam the area picture picture. Didn't go inside the USS since di naman feel ni mother yung mga ganun activities. We then boarded the Sentosa monorail for free to go back to Vivo City. Ikot sa mall and then went back to hotel to rest. Super init. Then in the afternoon, we did the riverside tour - Fullerton Hotel, One Fullerton, MBS, Merlion, Esplanade and ended un in Makasuntra. Of course di mawawala yung SG icecream on bread. Ended the day by checking chinatown shops for pasalubong.

Day 3 - We just stayed the whole morning inside our room until we checkout at noon. Left our things at the hotel, and we walked to Telok Ayer Street to see yung mga temples and churches from different religion/beliefs. After that we went to Marina Bay for Garden by the Bay. Went back to hotel to retrieve our things before heading to Changi Airport to catch our flight back to KL.

sissies help naman, pano mag purchase online sa USS? kasi pag google ko ang lumalabas ay yung resortsworld na website hindi yung mismong website ng USS

^Sis aka HELGA, glad to hear that your schedule was not that tight at nakapasyal ng maigi si mother.  On going to sentosa, same here, we never use the monorail (SGD3.50) from vivocity.  We always do the leisure walk from outside vivo to sentosa.  May walkalator kasi para sa mga tinatamad.  I find the monorail quite crowded all the time kaya mas gusto namin ang maglakad sa ibaba.  For 1SGD entrance sa Sentosa, hindi na masama sa loob namin ang pumasyal dahil mura ang entrance.

^Meron sa chinatown na casio watches.  Doon nakabili friend ko for SGD60.  I forgot the model.

^^Meron din sa OG Mall sa Bugis sis. Asa second floor ata yung watch section nila. Nabilhan ko yung sister ko dun, A168 WG-9W ata yung model. Mga around $60 nga.
