^ sis ella, from my research, SG to JB is more or less an hour lang. Will you get the legoland/HK town package from a travel agency? I think WTS travel and Tours offer packages that include coach transfers already. You can check their website for the details. Kami kasi DIY lang and we'll be coming from KL.

RE Sentosa, Chinatown and Changi -- you're referring to the MRT ba sis? Chinatwon is on the same MRT (purple) line as Harbourfront Station (Vivo City), the nearest station sa Sentosa. Sa EW (green) line yung papuntang airport. Do you intend to go to Chinatown ba after or before you check out of your hotel in RW?

punta kami ng family ko sa Singapore this coming April, dun ko icelebrate ang bday ko and at the same time bonding na din namin syempre.. wala kaming itinerary, may pinsan kasi ko dun kaya siya na bahala kung saan niya kami balak itour.. we will be staying din sa condo niya kaya laking tipid dahil 7 days din kami dun., 

ang pinaka gusto ko puntahan mga sis yung may pool sa taas ng hotel??? anong hotel ba yun (not sure pala kung hotel nga yun.. haha) and magkano kaya magastos namin dun?

^i think you're referring to Marina Bay Sands. the pool is only accessible to their stay-in customers so you'll need to get a room if you want to enjoy the pool. since ang laki naman ng natipid ninyo dahil makikitira lang kayo, gastusan niyo na yung 1 night sa MBS. for the room rates, just do a mock booking at theur website.

sis purpleish sa fragrance hotel ruby 10 lorong 20 geylang kami, malayo ba MTR dito sis? pwede na bang mag taxi nalang kami papunta dun? hindi ba masyado mahal?

sis bonita8888 ...sis if u can check www.gothere.sg (type mo lang sa search bar Aljunied MRT to Fragrance Hotel Ruby) you can have an idea sa location parang mas ok ata kung ang baba niyo is Aljunied MRT, then lakad sa hotel, siguro mga 10-15mins walk yun, pero tanungin ko ulit sa BIL ko, kasi malapit lang daw sa work niya yung Fragrance Ruby.. kung carrybells naman lakarin, pwede naman siguro sis, depende na lang sa kasama niyo..

For the pool area, they only accept 4 guests per day per room.  That's the new policy now in MBS.  Unlike before, kahit ilan kayo basta show the room key, pwede na pumasok.  They implemented this due to too much crowd in the pool area.

^yeah, but i think that's a reasonable policy. i mean, most rooms in SG nga ay 3 adults ang maximum sa isang room. so the pool policy of 4pax/day/room is just fine and won't be an issue.

^That's right.  Its beneficial for guests to enjoy the amenities better.  When I had a chance to swim before na wala tong policy na to.  Its difficult to move around the pool area because of the crowd.  But recently, mas na enjoy namin at hindi narin agawan sa poolside beds.

When in Singapore, get an EZ-Link Card. You can use this both for the train and bus. Purchased mine three years ago and still use the card every time I get the chance to go back to Singapore. Last time was a few months back, reloaded about 10 dollars and now I still have 17 dollars left on my card and will  use this for my future trips to Singapore.

^ Sis, wag na kayo magLegoland haha sooobrang pangbata. Go nalang sa Outlet & HK Town. After niyo magJohor, baka pwede pa rin kyo pumunta ng Orchard. 10 halos sarado na pala malls dun.

@Ella Montana - I have the same question as you do regarding Senior Citizen discount. In some sites kasi, it is specified if the discount is applicable only to locals, WP holders and such.  Pero sa USS site, hindi naka-indicate eh. Laking discount din kasi di ba.  But good news for you..."Age 60 and above" yung Senior Citizen rate sa USS according to their site.

Hindi nabigyan ng Senior Citizen discount ang mother-in-law ko sa USS. Only residents/locals lang ang puwede dito

Hi sis! My family will be visiting SEA Aquarium in March. I'm expecting it to be much nicer than Underwater World. Disappointed ako sa UW when we went there last 2009. Not worth the money. Mas maganda yung sa Oceanpark HK. Sa SEA Aquarium ka na lang.

same tayo sis. I kept my EZ link card that I used 6 years ago when I lived in sg. Kaso when I went back to sg last 2011. nag-iba na daw card nila. they got my card inexchange of few dollars.

2005 pa ako last nag-visit sa Underwater World so di ko na alam if it's still worth visiting.
Besides, SEA Aquarium has just opened late last year, so it might really be better.

@yapeegurl - Sayang naman yun. Anyhow, I emailed USS Guest Relations about it.
Their reply was that Senior Citizen discount is applicable to foreign tourists as well, aged 60 and above.  Yey!
