hi mga sis. ask ko lang, kumusta ang experience ninyo sa IO naten dito sa pinas. We have a flight kasi sa feb, 2 kami ng friend ko. I've been to singapore mga 2011, kasama ko nun is friend ko na pinoy american citizen and pinag stayan namin is yung 1st couzin nya so. But now, yung pag sstayan namin is friend ko lang, no blood relation.  It's a 4 days trip lang naman. Ano ano ba ang mga possible na itatanong at hihingin na docs just in case? Btw, sa Jetstar ang plane namin. Naia 1. Mahigpit ba dun?

^Hindi ka naman under OFW na line so it will be fine.  As long as you have return ticket, mapa jetstar or tiger airways or SQ man ang plane mo, i think you will have no problem.  May tatak na kamo ang passport mo dati.  Wag kang kakabahan sa IO.  Good luck and enjoy your trip!

are you in SG already? try going to travel agencies like WTS and Five Stars Tours. I think they have their own buses na pumupunta KL.   or Aeroline - kaso may kamahalan. pero nice and comfortable seats.  https://www.aeroline.com.sg/

1. Saan mas maganda mag papalit ng peso-sgd and usdollar-sgd? If here sa pinas saan? (QC area pls) may number ba kayo? need ba ng schedule sa palitan? or sa sg na mismo? where?

2. We're 4 adults and 8yr old boy, mas better ba mag train, bus or taxi from changi-YMCA hotel? magkano?

1. Check czarina's or sanry's. They have a store at Trinoma I think (sorry can't remember anymore I've been away from Manila for quite some time already)

2. Take the maxi cab instead. It's More convenient specially that it's hard to lug around luggages while commuting (bus/mrt) Last time we took maxicab from the airport, they charge $50 but this was about more than a year ago. Just go to their booth at the airport if you want to avail of their service.

1.  Sa Changi Airport before and after immigration, merong mga SG local banks like UOB, DBS na merong money exchange.  If you plan to have yours exchange here than there in Manila.

2.  Take the airport shuttle from Changi.  Just ask the concierge (information).  S$9 per person to any hotel within central singapore (Orchard, Marina Bay, Raffles Place, Bugis).

3.  Legit sha and you have to drop by Lucky Plaza along orchard road to claim your tickets.  Hindi tatanggap ang Sentosa, legoland, etc ng voucher.  You can to claim the actual tickets sa lucky plaza.

4.  For cash refund, when you buy electronics or luxury items anywhere here in SG, you have to ask for the eTRS ticket.  Just collect it and when you go to changi airport, look for the GST refund booth.

There are kiosks where you must swipe your E-passport (E-passport lang tinatanggap hindi manual passport), then your eTRS ticket bar codes.  Para automatic ang pagclaim ng gst.  If you do not have E-passport at manual passport ang hawak mo (sulat kamay ng passport info), then you have to go to the counter to have the eTRS manually validated.

Then when you get inside the "after" immigration, there's a cashier where you present the claim slip and you will get the refund in GST.

And also backread the previous threads because there are many posted and answered queries on Singapore.  You're question might be answered in those threads.  PEX forum is also helpful.  When I was still touring SG before, my questions were supported by PEX and GT.

^Alam ko pwede sha.  Just tell the concierge kung ano yung hostel name nyo.  Hindi lang sha pwede pag residential.  For tourist kasi yung airport shuttle.  I tried to get their service for me and my sister nung nasa Changi kami, they said they only do hotels within the city and not residential.  They can drop me only on the nearest hotel within my area so I guess hostels are okay (basta within central singapore ok?)
