^You can drink 1-2 cups a day.  Just don't drink right before you nurse or pump.

hi sis EJ sorry late reply.. yung buong whites ng eyes ni baby.. dirty whites may yellow shades.. as advised sakin tuloy-tuloy pa rin breastfeeding ko.. never ko daw itry magmix baka daw mas magustuhan ang formula at aayaw na sa BF.

Pero super happy nako pala kasi naka-poop na si baby on his own na.. nalagpasan na nya growth spurt, biglang bigat din nya though maliit pa rin sya compared sa ibang babies.

^Glad to know that.

^ While eating healthy while one is breastfeeding should be the norm, breastfeeding moms should make sure there is a foremilk-hindmilk balance.  Foremilk is more watery while hindmilk contains more fat.  Thus, make sure to complete the cycle when you nurse so that your baby will surely get the hindmilk.

Mommies, don't get insecure when your exclusively breastfed baby seems leaner than formula-fed babies because formula contains a lot of sugar and that's why the latter gain weight fast.  What's important is your baby is thriving and healthy. :)

^ wag mo silang pansinin sis.

my baby is 1.5yrs now. natuto na sumigaw na sobrang lakas pag di nakukuha ang gusto. what should i do?

i've read na nageexplore lang sila ng boses nila at this stage. tama ba na hayaan lang sila?

i'm trying to look her in the eye and say "no" or "stop shouting". kaso inuulit parin.

hi sissies, my baby boy would be exactly 5mos old tomorrow. i have a question lang regarding his sleeping pattern if normal ba or not. he usually sleeps around 9-10pm. usually i would let him latch sa akin hanggang sa makasleep siya. then he would wake up around 1am-2am, una galaw galaw lang siya parang hindi mapakali, i tried tapik tapikin siya but no use, mag start na siya umiyak. so what i would do, papa latch ko ulit sakin. mga 5mins lang makakasleep na siya ulit, so hihiga ko na sa bed ulit. then gising nanaman siya after 1-2hours. siguro every night 3-4x siya gumigising. but nakakatulog naman din agad after ko siya ilatch. normal lang ba yung ganito? parang pampatulog na niya yung pag latch sakin? wala pa talaga yung tuloy tuloy na sleep niya. pinakamatagal na sleep niya is 3hours then gigising na to latch. TIA sa mga sasagot :)

^ sis consider using a pacifier. mga babies kasi may sucking sensation that we need to pay attention to or else they'll use their hands and dun nagsstart ang thumbsucking. minsan busog na si baby or kaka-feed lang then parang ginagawa ka lang human pacifier (naka-latch pero di naman kumukuha ng milk kahit may konting movement ng lips).

baby ko ni-recommend ng pedia mag-pacifier na at 6weeks after telling her the exact same issue. so far ok naman. pag ayaw na ni baby ng pacifier, he lets it fall off. pag nangyari yun wag mo na ipasok ulit para di maging dependent sa pacifier din (this part i read it from the internet).

this happened to me too. ;D

dumating pa sa point na natatakot na ko sa baby ko kasi di ko alam paano siya iplease. the first night we were together alone, (nasa work si daddy niya) hindi ako nakatulog buong gabi kasi he's crying nonstop.

pero eventually, you'll get the hang of it. ngayon bati na kami lagi ni baby. kahit may mga sleepless nights pa rin kasi di pa naman permanent yung sleeping pattern niya (he's at 3mos btw) okay na siya. di na siya gigising para umiyak. and usually kapag yakap ko na siya, sleep ulit siya. nagpapalambing lang. :P

Hello mommies! Any suggestions mommies? Thank you. 😊

Kaka 3mos [textspeak!] nya. Nagpa tst na kami mataas yung direct bilirubin nya kaya agad agad pina screening ng hepa and ultrasound. Both normal naman yung result. Niresetahan sya ng phenoberbetal. almost 2 weeks nya na iniinom but still mejo may dilaw padin sya. What to do? May ganitong cases din ba dito?

Priceless

Ganyan din ang baby ko. What we do is we set a firm feeding schedule. Pagkatapos magising (either first thing sa morning or after nap times), magplay lang ng mga 30 minutes or so, then feed time na. And pag pre-feeding play, hindi namin sya nilalaro, he has to play all by himself sa play pen nya. Eventually he gets bored nang walang kalaro so magpapakuha na from the play pen and direcho namin nilalagay sa high chair nya. I also highly recommend using a proper feeding chair for him, preferably one with a big tray sa harap. With ours, nilalagay namin yung maliliit nyang toys dahil type nyang may hinahawakan pag kumakain. He also likes to have either music (we have baby songs or classical music that he's familiar with) or the tv on (either the news or baby tv, depende kung kasabay namin kumain). Sometimes during the day we give him snacks and a fruit juice, kung konti lang ang nakain during the main meal. Pero don't give too much snacks either that will spoil his appetite for the main meal.

These days mahirap pa rin sya pakainin pero at least kumakain naman sya at inuubos ang food, kailangang tyagain lang because it takes him sometimes over an hour to finish his meal. As for milk, we also set a routine na kailangan nyang mag milk bago mag sleep. So normally he takes milk 3x a day. We noticed though that as long as he holds something and is distracted by his hands, then he is more able to eat - parang he opens his mouth and chews his food by instinct. Kung wala syang hinahawakan, mas lalong mahirap pakainin or painumin ng milk.
