Ask ko lang how much rate for VA? Mainly replying to e-mails, copy-paste ng date sa excel sheet, pag-a-update ng profile at products sa B2B accounts ang tasks. Flexi naman ang sched and usually within 48 hours and deadline ng mga tasks na ibibigay nya.

Medyo nag-aalangan kase ako sa offer ng client na $4/hour.
Okay na ba yun? For long term naman daw yung project and max. 40 hours/week.
Ano sa palagay ninyo? Hindi ko pa kasi na-try mag-VA.

VA rate of $4 per hour for a start is okay na sis kasi ako nagstart ako sa rate na $2.5 per hour as VA (2012) and doing data entry task plus admin pa ako sa Salesforce and reconcile account sa QBO...I'm $4.5 per hour now with my long term client.

Actually sis for me swerte mo na to get $4 sa VA job kasi me mga kilala ako na start as low as $1.5 as VA now a days sa tindi ng competition.....

i agree with charmedwitch $4 for a VA is actually a good rate na lalo na if you're just starting out. sa dami ng competition ngayon sa odesk super okay na yang rate na yan.

pa rant lang... nafu-frustrate na akong maghanap ng new work. invitations that i've been getting are all for full time work, but hindi ako pwede since i have a fulltime job din. kung hindi fulltime job, scam naman. haaay... ang hirap maghanap ng work ngayon. yung mga inapplyan ko kung hindi unresponsive yung client, iba ang na-hire. usually ang nahi-hire yung mababa ang rate. haaay...

haay.. first time may nag-offer sakin ng job sa Odesk kaso super baba naman ng rate. $1 for 500-word orig article tapos $0.50 sa rewrite. i withdraw the application tuloy. buti pa outside Odesk maswerte ako. pero gusto ko padin talaga i-try ang Odesk

oo nga sis eh. $2 per 350 word rewrite nga ang rate ko eh. tapos sa original article $4-$5. grabe ang bababa ng rate sa Odesk.

anyway, meron ako offers to do an ebook outside odesk padin. isang beauty saka isang health. I am wondering magkano ba normally ang rate sa ebook writing and cover making? first time ko kasi gagawa kasi more on website content and blogging ako. Just want to make sure I dont charge too much or receive less than I am supposed to get. thanks

^ to have an idea, mas maganda kung i-visit mo ang profiles ng ibang mga taga-odesk - as many profiles as possible, "high" chargers, "middle" chargers to "low" chargers. also, consider their skills and odesk experience. you will get a rough idea kung magkano ang bayad doon.

don't base on the profile rate. tignan mo ang work history nila. the hourly rate they get from writing those will give you kung magkano ang dapat mong hourly rate.

Mga sis pahelp naman medyo OT nga lang. May alam ba kayo na app na pwede pang tawag sa phone sa US for free? I will start my VA job tomorrow and syempre there are times na  meron kelangan tawagan. Client did not provide one, i was thinking of google voice pero i have read na limited to 3hours lang yung free call to US. Meron na syang contractor na isa pero there is no way pala to message her in Odesk tatanong ko pa man din sana ano gamit nya baka may alam lang kayo, if none i think should better ask my client to provide one or let client ask her other contractor kung ano gamit nya.

^ How about Skype sis? Hindi free pero mura tumawag sa US, a bit less than P1 per minute. Costs a minimum of $10 to load. Ideal in situations kung bihira kang tumawag doon.

Tinanggap ko na nga din yung offer kase kaka-end ko lang sa isang client na after akong paghintayin for 2 months na may work daw syang ibibigay at may inaayos lang sa database nila, e i-e-end lang pala nya ang contract. Sana nag-apply na lang ako ng nag-apply sa full-time jobs sa 2 months na yun. Baka, nakatsamaba pa ako. Hay... hehe... sorry, may extra na rant pa akong isinama.

Anyway, mukhang oks naman tong bagong client tsaka kahit paano within my interest pinapagawa niya. Hingi na lang ako ng increase kapag may maganda na akong records.

Naku sis purple_girl ako din pagod na..been two weeks and not successful padin to get new client.

just to share...I almost got one aba last minute sinabi ni client someone offered $1 per hour rate at asked me if kaya ko tapatan naku kaloka I said No and told him goodluck and looking forward to work with him in the future. Tapos yun isa naman kala ko okay na kaso they want me to leave my current part-time job which happened to be my long term client kasi yun time pareho...they want me to work 9-5 eh I'm working with my current client 9-1...sabi ko I can't kaya ayun they turn me down pero hindi ko masyado alam if I should regret my action kasi mas secured naman ako sa part-time job ko..

sana naman makakuha na ako ng additional client at naku malapit na pasukan ni anak...

Since nagkaproblem last year hindi ko na sya ginagamit pero sobrang hinayang kasi ako sa charge ng Paypal - Bpi Family Savings eh...any feedback please..

May charge na P150 yan sis kung BPI Family. Pero tingin ko OK na rin ang LFT-BPI Family except lang sa P150 charge na yan.

Better open an account sa regular BPI (min maintaining balance ng ATM savings nila P3000) or BPI direct (minimum maintaining balance ng ATM savings nila P500). OK rin ang BPI Easy savers na gamit ng iba rito (walang min maintaining balance, pero may mga minimal charges ang bawat transactions). Walang pang charge sa LFT ang mga accounts na opened sa regular BPI at BPI direct di tulad sa BPI Family. OK na rin ang LFT sa 2 banks na yan.
